it's true that there's a lot of weird and silly monthly observances. I wonder who deceides what will be observed on which day or month?

August is pretty dull. It has no official holiday.

For my birthday August 24 there are only a few:

Pluto Demoted Day
Vesuvius Day
National Waffle Day

Apparently it's a full moon on the 24th as well.

For August overall there aren't that many great ones besides the following:

Friendship Day.
Womens Equality Day.

On the Australian calender there is one called:

Assumption Day August 15

A feast commemorating the Virgin Mary being taken up into heaven.

Wow

I got popcorn day! Hell yeah!

LOL some of these are cool and/or nice, but some are pretty funny as well. I don't mind having popcorn day on my B day. As long as my Lil Broski doesn't steal all of it. Overall I'm happy with the ending of this strange journey. Just kinda sucks I didn't get National Pro Wrestling Day.
