Storyline

Ok, got the NPC's done for both the end of the mage and warrior section.
Archknight Belazor & Archmage Cerridwen
(they are gonna love this XD)

They will give you the Medallion of Strength and the Medallion of Magic only after you have defeated the respective bosses.

Also, I talked with Koloth about making a lottery.

We could sell "tickets" go online and fin a random number generator and set it to 3 digits.
Tickets would costt 100-200 a piece and if you match 1 number, you get 50% of the total, match 2 numbers, get 100%, match all 3 numbers, by some act of god, and you'll get 100% plus a custom Item.

OR, since we can give out money, we can have a set amount depending on the number of people. 5 people buy tickets equals 5,000 gil, 10 people buying tickets equals 10,000 gil, and so on.
 
Hmm, I talked to Belazor and got the Medalion of Magic. I noticed that Cerri gave the Medalion of Strength. Shouldn't it be the other way around?
 
I added Zethler, the alter, shop for enchantment and the enchantment to the Temple of the Ancients. I believe the Hall of Warriors is done. If you want to change anything, let me know.

By the way, I gave Zelthler 200 MAG DEF. It should make him pretty tough for Mages.

well I added the Arden Forest to make an Elf Theme section. You go from the Tower to the east, then south, then west and finally to the north. Once you reach the north you'll reach the Arden Sanctuary in which we could make our first village :monster:


I am still deciding between the Viera and the Elves.

OK, thanks for fillling us in. That area probably needs a level requirement to get to. The next area that needs monster, level 35 to 45, is Hall of Mages. Hopefully we can get them added, by tomorrow. If not, I may open Hall of Warriors anyway. But Hall of Warriors may need some tweeky, with pictures, text and the Belazor NPC... He needs to give the Medalion of Strength instead of Mage. I guess I will eventually remove my Medalion and replace it when that is done.
 
Ok, let's say the Viera explains much of what the hell is happening and they lead our hero (or heroine) to the first key of the first portal. The Portal will lead to the past in which Lord Marcus has already defeated Lord Elendil. You reach the Tower of Elendil (again, now named Tower of Mages) and find out that the Elendil was not actually dead, but fatally wounded. You battle Elendil only to realize YOU created the Cursed Spirit, this unleashing the first step of Elendil's plans for the destruction of this land. :D
 
Sorry for putting a damper on things, on MSN, with personl issues. I think I will still be able to be around, working on the RPG. But I probably will not be active in the main sb and main forum sections. I plan to just concentrate on the RPG.

Tielknight, I will fill you in, on what I discussed with Julius. I think you should know as well.

Also, what would be good monsters for the Hall of Mages? I was thinking of Dragons and other fire breathing and smelly beasts.

Yes, dragons and elemental creatures. Perhaps a few golems too, magically animated puppets :)
 
Elemental creatures.. Hmm.. I smell Flans. Very high defense and low magic defense :D

We already have two dragons and one knight in the first Hall of Mages. I guess Flans could be on the second. I'll add something to the third. Anyone feel free to edit what I made since sometimes my monsters tend to be nightmarish:wacky:

By the way, I purchased your books, Julius. What I have read is great. I read about the next area where the Warriors battle the Mages.

I think I am going to setup some side quests for fighting summons. As suggested by Gab, the summons will have special attacks, based on their character. Any good ideas for side quests? I guess we will need some books about the different summons.

Also the medallions, I noticed that Cerridwen (The mage) gives the Medallion of Strength while Belazor gives the Medallion of Magic...

I think all the monsters in the Hall of Mages should have Flan armour 999 DEF. So that nobody can take anything off with physical attacks. I was doing some damage. Also, I am giving them all 30 MAG DEF to give a challenge to Mages.

Made a Wicked Elif Claymore for Wicked Armour... Now to fix the boss. I wonder if I should do the same devious thing with it.

OK, did boss too. I also gave him a special staff with 999 DEF. But the staff that is dropped will be the original.

I hope my little notes make sense.

Oh shit, ZT never fixed the modifier problem with dropped items from monsters. My Dark Staff does not have the 15 MAG bonus. But it does work with NPCs. Maybe Cerri should drop it instead of Cursed Spirit. Just a thought.

Another note: I love those Golden Golems. That spell of their's is awesome.

Tower of Elendil needs an alter and a shop for the mage enchantment. The enchantment is called Power of the Mage. Of course the name can change. But the stats have been thought out.

I thought about this yesterday...how about including a few members and staff members in the storyline? I was discussing this with Saix, and he suggested having a few staff members be some sort of Boss, or an NPC that is also similar to their personality.
 
I think Hall of Warriors and Hall of Mages is ready. So I opened them from the library. I hope that is OK with you guys. I tested all the regular monsters in the area. They looked good.

I closed the passage to the forest. That needs to be a trigger anyway. Because people need to be level 50 to enter the Forest.
 
Mitsuki, there already are, it just isn't open yet :P

And lets see how long it takes em to get through this area. I'm betting there will some guys playing it all night to get as far as they can. Yeesh.
 
Actually the area with Belazor and Cerri is opened. Read my last post. :rolleyes:
 
Ya, my mind lost a few hours :P

Also, Found out (thanks to red fox) that the triggers that give the medallions didn't get fixed along with the text, so those got fixed :P
