No. 2 has a really good quote! But I voted for No. 7. Beatrix is such a badass, I wish she was a main playable character in FF9. She would definitely be in the starting line up!

Ummmm I think entry number 7 looks the best and most badass one out of all the entrys. General Beatrix looks so freaking badass in black and white. This siggy is just pure awesomeness! Vote goes to entry 7.

Le Gasp!

Entries that stood out most for me;

3; I really liked this entry. It seems like a really simple siggy, and that's what catched my eye. Nothing extreme, just simple and nice.

5; Drop dead gorgeous sig. Like a few times before, I think it's awesome, that if it's something/someone as in the stock used, is something I don't care for, yet still grabs my attention. That's really awesome. I don't care for Hendrix but this sig is simply perfect.

8; It looks like it was a bit rushed. But overall I love how Amy Lee's eyes stand out. Think it's a really pretty sig, but the stock on the right seems a bit off... Overall really nice, the border is simple, yet... nice...

10; Like number 3, simple and nice. Looks clean and I love that feeling. ^^ Clean, and easy on the eye.

Howeeeever, after much debating with myself... I'ma go for number 5. I just love how the siggy was done. The brushes give off a nice glow from the stock used. Really gotta give props to how you did the text. Love the Black and White idea in it.

Number 5 it is.

Edit: Special note to number 7, I LOVE LOVE LOVE your border... I could've went for just voting on that, is how much I like it. o_O

For me on terms of theme, of which we are supposed to be voting for, not our favorite characters (which seems to be getting a bit of a common occurance) I would definatley say that number 5 is perfect, the monotone shading and included lighting make this piece stand out among the rest, and the background really brings the piece together excellently.

A close second would be number 6 as once again the use of lighting and effects make this piece stand out, making a black and white piece is easy, making an appealing black and white piece is a very difficult task and i believe that the creators of 5 and 6 have done just that!

Well done to all entries and keep up the good work!

I voted for #5.

It has a really nice glossy feel to it and the lighting is superb.

The black and white throughout the sig is situated really well and doesn't make the signature look too blended and dull. The white and black stand out a lot more in their allocated spots due to this if that made sense. <_<

The text is also situated well and I like how half is black and the other is white so that the entire word is made visible, so that none of it gets lost among the background.

I like the glow and pretty designs surrounding Hendrix too. =)

Well done to all!

All very good entries this week, but I'm going to have to go with #5 here. It has a new style, very well-polished and smooth down to the core. I really like it. It shows great contrast between black and white, so the overall look captured the theme perfectly. Even the text is quite superb, although the text font could have been a tad bit better, but I see the mix of colors there and it's creative at least.

1 is fairly nice - I like the border, but the render is covering part of the border and it looks really awkward that way. Interesting background but I'm not sure about the red splash there...

2 is good too, but the text makes it look a bit odd. I think the render and Fallout text placement could have been better...they were both way too opposite from each other and that caused a weak focal point. But I like the lighting, the simple background, and how how body was slightly erased...I think this tag has a lot of potential if the artist really worked on it.

3 is really good. I was considering voting for this one due to the unique and abstract design, which sets it apart from the rest. It's a really interesting piece, I like it a lot. I can tell that the lighting was the main work here. The slight vertical line actually fits in well there.

4 is a very cute tag. I like the dotted lines going across and down near the character...very imaginative. Pretty good texture there too, or at least it was made to look like there was texture added. I just think that it's a bit too pale - the color scheme I mean. Text could have been better too...it's a bit too big and the positioning is kinda off. Grey borders...not sure if that works, but it's okay.

7 is pretty cool too. I love the borders - very creative in that sense. But the color scheme is a bit off methinks...I think it would have been better if it was more darker and then some very bright light. Beatrix seems to be lost in the background - probably both a combo of blurring and erasing a bit too much, but she's too blended in. Other than that it's quite appealing to look at.

8 is nice - that's one heck of a border that's for sure. The two stock thing is very hard to work with, and even now I try to avoid doing that because it tends to distract the viewers from the actual main focus. Maybe if the background's opacity was reduced, it would have been a lot better. Text going across the whole tag doesn't seem to work, in my opinion, so maybe a size reduction will help as well. But other than that, it's not too bad.

9 is very appealing to look at too. I was also considering voting for this. The flowers in the background really works - different shades of black and white and how they fit well with the image - it's amazing, I like it a lot. It's clean and maintained with great control, and it follows the theme excellently.

10 is another good one also. Gorgeous use of lighting and it really follows the theme. I like how it's smooth when you focus on his face, but then you see the slight textures lingering on both sides - the stillness of the tag is quite eerie almost and the artist really portrayed that in a good way. But the border is somewhat off, and I'm not sure if that was intended or not, but the left size is not proportioned to the right - same goes with the top and bottom. I've just never seen it done that way before. Other than that, it's a wonderful piece.
