I am pretty sure anyone who has ever had a pet has created some kind of stupid nickname for them at some point?

I have three dogs, three fish and a bird and they all have stupid nicknames... some don't even make any sense.

I will list them and I hope you will list your strange pet nicknames too :D

Ok so for me there is:

Horace (dog): Horups, Hollups like it's Hot, Whorey Mclorey, Horsey, fat head, fucking shit head.
Miles (dog): Miley, Smiley, MooMoo (don't ask) Jamimie, Mymy.
Rupert (dog): Rupie Dupie, Loopie, Lupie doops.
Peanut (bird): Peenis
Karl (fish): Carlos, Carlie
The other two fish don't have nicknames.. they aren't cool enough.

My brothers name is Karl! Spelt with a 'K' as well.

Everyone at home calls him Karlie and Karlos more than Karl. XD Funny you should mention that name and nicknames! XD

My family has a dog called Henry.

My mum always calls him: Chica.

I don't know where she got that name from. It isn't anything like Henry. XD
 
My dogs name is Tundra and most of the family calls her Tungie. :wacky: I'll either call her that or Dog. :lew:

She's the only pet we've ever had though. D:
 
My dog's name is Elly but I call her "Erry". Kinda like in a stereotyping Asian replacing L's with R's kinda way. It's stupid I know. But I look for any form of entertainment I can possibly find.
 
I had a dog that was named Pucca and I called her Puccashnoo I was playing alot of FFX-2 and that's how the blue guy talks. :wacky:

And then my other dog Chilli, I sometimes call him Chilli-billy. :ryan:
 
My cats called Velcro, but she quite often gets called 'Furry fucking football'
 
John and I have several nick names for our cat Shadow. They are as follows:

Mr. Cuddles, Shadowcat, Shadowkitten, Mr. Needy, cuddly cat, Mr.Demanding.

Can you tell he likes us XD

We call my dog guiness Mr. Gin, Mr. Spoiled, and Ginny

I have a lot of pet nicknames
 
I have 2 cats and when the one was little she used to poop on my bed a lot. So her nickname became "poo-poo bums". It was then shortened to "pupu" (like the FF creature lol) and that turned into a variation of "pupu"-related nicknames such as pupsicle, poo-face and pupaloops. I now refer to her as being the last member of the Pupus: royal cats superior to humans :p

These aren't actually my pets; they belong to my family. But I practically lived with them, so:

Felix (cat): Fi, Fifi, Feliano, DOG (because he is a very large cat and we think he's just a border collie with a cat's head), Pepe le Pew

Perle (cat): Perliano, Rat, Miss 'Prrrt'

Owen (cat... a female one. My sister adored Michael Owen so called her female cat 'Owen'), also known as Rosie after being rehomed by my dad: Slug, Slugsworth, One Slipper, Rat, El Stupido

Jack (Cat): Jacket, Jack-in-a-Box

Baby (cat - name by previous owner): Mugsly
 
I have tons of pets, only few of them get nicknames though, other-times they don't come to me for some reason.


  • Maya, she was a Mastiff/German Shepherd, we used to nickname her "Momma" because me and my siblings grew up with her, and she was always nurturing to us.
  • There's Pancakes, my girl Tortoise cat, but I call her Pickles, Cakes, and Panca, I don't really know why I just do xD
  • Mittens, but I call her Mitsy, Mit, or Meowmix
  • Tiger, he was one of our oldest Cats, but we all called him Tigger xD
  • Bambino, but I nicknamed him Bam-Bam, Bambi, and Bumble or Casanova for short.
  • My Dog Charlie, she was a Shelty/Beagle mix, I nicknamed her Barkley though, because she always barked a lot.
 
I'm not sure if it's exactly a nickname but my dog is called Bruce(I voted for Baxter but my brother and sister voted against me), anyways I only ever refer to him as dog. It doesn't really matter what you call him though considering he's deaf as a post now.
 
Aww, I call my Iris Pug "Sweetie Girl" and "Baby Girl" and "Baby Sweetness" ect. Funny thing though, for a while we confused Iris Pug into thinking her name was Clameese. It worked for a while until we started calling her Iris again :tehe: We occasionally will call her Clameese and she will come to that as well as Iris :ohoho:
 
I named a goat "Goober". Seriously, you guys shouldn't doubt my weirdness. I can be the weirdest of them all. This goat was also able to fly. It also screamed "YES!" & "NO!" pretty often. ;)

Okay seriously, Patches was the worst name/nickname I've ever heard for a dog. Poor thing got nicknamed because of it's hair. At least he was friendly. I miss him. :(

Why couldn't he be nicknamed... Max v2? I never liked the original Max anyway.
 
I had 4 dogs- (one passed)

Their names were:

Sadie, Roxy, Shiloh, Cookie (females)

Sadie- Hmm, I think we rarely called her any nicknames... maybe "say" for short.

Roxy- "Momma" because she was the biggest and most loving out of the bunch. RIP mommas :sad3:

Shiloh- "Shy Shy" because Shiloh was just too long I guess haha.

Cookie- "Cook" or "Cookers."

I miss my babies. :(
