"We have a carriage carrying supplies and ammo for when the Republican army begins the liberation of the port. They want me to hire mercenaries to help and ensure the convoy gets to the destination safely."

"Liberation?" Revilo wasn't into politics much but tried his best to understand. "So we are helping something big happen?"

He gazed downwards. It sounded like a boring job, guarding goods for the Republican army. Nontheless Revilo shrugged his shoulders. Money was money after all. "When do we leave?"

He wanted to get this over with quickly. Who knows the trouble his sister could get into for this short amount of time?

OOC: Same here. I seem to have writers block for this one, but ill try to persevere. Make the quest immediate.

"We have a carriage carrying supplies and ammo for when the Republican army begins the liberation of the port. They want me to hire mercenaries to help and ensure the convoy gets to the destination safely
."

How many people you need? If the quest is not right now, but after the next 4 days, i can get a good amount of men from my guild, but if its right now, then im the only person you've got from Shiva.

From what the man had said, this was a good opportunity for her men to work. It could also lead to even more work if the ammo was what she think it was for. Plus, as professional as the other two looked, with three, four if the man is included, they were going to be hard pressed if the Imperials came en mass with soldiers.

OOC: I nearly forgot about this one...

Listening to the briefing that was given, it seemed like a simple enough task to accomplish. "Ok, so we simply protect and kill." That's what it boiled down to. She couldn't help but ask what neither of the two asked..."Well since they cover the other buisness, Might I ask what our pay will be?" This bit of info was just as important to her as the questions already asked by the other two.

"So we are helping something big happen?" The male mercenary asked.

"Exactly, The rebels are going to take back this city, that much I can tell you."
Eddie said, remembering all the questions he asked the republican leader.

How many people you need? If the quest is not right now, but after the next 4 days, i can get a good amount of men from my guild, but if its right now, then im the only person you've got from Shiva. The suited female said.

"Unfortunately, the carriage is arriving tonight, I apologize for such a short notice, but due to lack of sorely needed supplies, the Republicans are in a tight squeeze and have not been overly active as of late. I hope the rest of your organization would not mind. I hope that answer your question."

"Ok, so we simply protect and kill. Well since they cover the other buisness, Might I ask what our pay will be?" The final mercenary, another female spoke.

Eddie pulled out an envelope, which contained 520 credits the currency of the San Salvacion Government, both Republicans and Imperials used this as it's currency, mainly due to the fact that the Imps have yet to establish its own currency. "130 credits in advance, 370 credits upon success. That's the deal. It's big money early on, enough to get you guys enough drinks for the town."

Holding the envelope in hand, Eddie then asked, "I'm going to need to know who I'm working with, I'll start first, I'm Eduardo Alvarez."

"Revilo Green." he replied to the man's introduction.

He was ready to do this job. Rebels taking back a city would no doubt cause an uproar later on, but for now Revilo onlyh worried about the present. Not caring for anyone else but himself and his sister.

He gazed at the others for their introductions before realizing that the man probably wanted details about him. "I'm expertised at hand to hand combat and sword play. I also use magical abilities in case of emergency."

It wasn't necessary to give this information, but Revilo knew that they would find out sooner or later. Though he never used his powers, Revilo decided tio tell the others anyway.

He then slunk back into silence and gazed at the others with his peircing green eyes. He couldn't help but get a little curious as to who the women were...

Maya cursed. She had hoped it wasnt so soon so that the job would have been easier, and that at least all the men would get SOME money. However, she at the very least could give back to the coffers.

"130 credits in advance, 370 credits upon success. That's the deal. It's big money early on, enough to get you guys enough drinks for the town."

Doubt it. Guild needs the money.

I'm going to need to know who I'm working with, I'll start first, I'm Eduardo Alvarez.

Hm? Name is Maya Amuro. I work as an Officer for Shiva's Retinue. Need extra man power, you know where to call.

From inside her jacket, Maya pulled out a business card and handed it to Eduardo.

As for my specialty, gun play would be my forte. Give me a target and its point and fire. My guns for your hire. Parents fought in the war too, so i have no objection to these type of requests.

Maya smiled brightly as she beamed about her parents. She was proud of the two. Even on the losing side, they tore through the years of war in the thick of it and surviving even after the Republic's defeat.

In response to the man hiring her, she complied and told her name. "Just call me Raine." She pulled out one of her revolvers and flipped it around. It wasn't loaded, but she had forgotten that the others had not known this. She always liked to look a little flashy with her guns, and she then decided to tuck them away instantly.

"That seems like enough money for me alone, but if we do a good job, would it be possible to make a little more? Like a bonus?" As usual, trying to haggle her way into getting more money. She put on a sweet smile to try and influence the employer. His name was Eduardo, and as soon as she heard it, she decided to call him 'ed' from then on.

Revilo frowned unknowingly at the othrs as he stood there in silence. He'd rather not talk, he'd rather just do the job.

"That seems like enough money for me alone, but if we do a good job, would it be possible to make a little more? Like a bonus?"

His eyes shot towards the woman who said this and the man offering the job.He could tell she was getting more money out of him, but he wouldn't speak against it. If this man was to be tricked into giving them more it would be his own fault.

Revilo shifted his standing position to the sky. You could already see the stars shining. He gazed upwards in silence thinking about nothing, trying to posses a moment of peace. His ears were still perked in on the conversation but his mind was somewhere in the clouds.

That was that then... Let's get going. If this is for the republic, the longer we leave it, the more dangerous itll be. Plus, i dont want Imperial ears to be around when the carriage comes. Are you sure the location is secure?

Maya has had tonnes of experience where leaked locations wrecked havoc. However, those were small scale compared to this. If they were revealed, it could mean execution if they were caught.

"That seems like enough money for me alone, but if we do a good job, would it be possible to make a little more? Like a bonus?"

Raine seemed bent on bargaining more money, but that did not concern her. It was matter between her and Eddie.
Call me when you're ready to leave.

Maya moved to the side and stuck a lollipop in her mouth, gazing down at the town until her name was called.

"I'm expertised at hand to hand combat and sword play. I also use magical abilities in case of emergency."

Eddie nodded, then turned towards the second figure. "And you are?"

Hm? Name is Maya Amuro. I work as an Officer for Shiva's Retinue. Need extra man power, you know where to call. As for my specialty, gun play would be my forte. Give me a target and its point and fire. My guns for your hire. Parents fought in the war too, so i have no objection to these type of requests.

"Well me and my partners look forward to working with your guild. Looks like we're gonna get along just fine." Turning to the second woman she heard her say.

"Just call me Raine. That seems like enough money for me alone, but if we do a good job, would it be possible to make a little more? Like a bonus?"

"Now, don't think I'm that easy to bribe, you get paid what you get. Maybe work for us some more, and then maybe you'll get more."

That was that then... Let's get going. If this is for the republic, the longer we leave it, the more dangerous itll be. Plus, i dont want Imperial ears to be around when the carriage comes. Are you sure the location is secure?

"It's location is secure for now. But due to the series of Imperial checkpoints in the area. They will not make it. That's why the Republicans hired mercenaries. We're going to use a tunnel pass that will get us around to the carriage. It's too narrow for us to bring supplies in, but it's shown that a small group of people and horses can get through to the other side of the ravine. The narrowest series of the ravines is to the southwest, and there is a bridge that passes through that narrow part in the center. We're gonna have to go there if we are to meet with the supplies in time."

Closing up the map, Eddie put it in his pocket, taking care not to lose it. It actually belonged to someone who generally liked his maps.

"Alright, we leave whenever you guys are ready. Meet me at the edge of the city, and if you have horses, take care to bring them, It's gonna be a long ride without em."
Eddie then started walking out from under the watchtower and headed for the outskirts.

Revilo knew that he and Maya had made it clear they were ready. He glanced at her lollipop. He could use something sweet at the moment to eat, but shook the feeling. "It's about time. I'll meet you all there." Revilo said.

He didn't have a horse, but he could walk all the same. He prefered to be on his feet anyways. The mission seemed to drag on. "Lets hurry and don't keep me waiting."

Revilo walked to the edge of town. The sky would be getting dark soon. The longer they waiting the more light they would lose. After walking he finally made it. He then sat down upon the dusty dirty ground and stretched out. Might as well rest up for the big event.

"Alright, we leave whenever you guys are ready. Meet me at the edge of the city, and if you have horses, take care to bring them, It's gonna be a long ride without em."

Maya was glad that discussion was over. It was becoming a bit too long for her liking and when Eddie dismissed them so that they could get some preparation done, Maya sighed out with relief. She left the group immediately and made for her horse, Hathaway. He was stabled just outside of town, meaning it didnt take her long to reach her beloved steed.

There there, boy. We found ourselves some money. Time to work my friend.

Unslinging her rifle and slotting it into the rifle holster on the saddle before she loaded up her supplies of ammo from storage and mounted. Hathaway, a giant of a horse shrugged off the weight as if it was nothing and began trotting as Maya guided him towards the meeting point. In a short while, Maya saw a rather familiar seated figure.

Waiting for someone stranger?

Maya coupled the question with a smile.

Hey Revy (self given nickname). Looks like we're all ready to go. Hope things pick up the pace. Dont want to keep wasting time

Waiting for someone stranger?

Revilo looked back and saw the woman Maya riding upon a horse meeting him.

Hey Revy (self given nickname). Looks like we're all ready to go. Hope things pick up the pace. Dont want to keep wasting time

Revilo was shocked as though someone had stabbed him from behind. never in his wildest dreams had he ever been given a nickname by someone other than his sister. He shrugged this off and picked himself up off the ground. "Well Miss Maya. This job better be complete soon. We don't even know much about the man who hire dus anyway. This could be a farce for all we know." He spoke.

He stood, the sky was darkening amd he began thinking. He felt like just a mere character written in a story of which the author had writers block. He wondered when the other two would arrive. If they didn't his small moment of adventure would end eventually...
