This is true.
Square-Enix had to use PS3 footage and photoshopped screenshots of the PS3 version to make the 360 version look better. Maybe IGN don't know of this.

Both Activision and Bungie can go jump off a cliff and take their boring story lines with them. Halo reminds me of a dumbed down Quake 2 with aliens and all. No blood tough, and one gun being the most superior gun hands down in the game in which spawns everywhere (battle rifle).
Call of Duty 2 had a decent story line, though Spec ops mode was far more fun. As for Treyarch I admire this company because they stay pretty original. You are able to 4 player coop on campaigns, WaW was actually a skillful multiplayer, and I predict Black ops to be even better due to the trailers.
The game probably won't outsell Halo Reach though, but if you combine both systems, they will (PS3/XBox360).
Also the new type of multiplayer looks most intriguing. Cheers to Treyarch for being original, gives me a little counterstrikeish tone, except more complex.

I was always terrible with the battle rifle, so I was at a massive disadvantage.
