so, me and my friend are debating right now regarding the scene under the highwind with cloud and tifa. so let me ask you guys this, did they really...you know... became intimate with each other in the scene?

my friend keeps on telling me that they did but im not that convinced.

im a die-hard cloti fan and i love imagining them doing their 'thing' but regarding that scene, i still remained unconvinced.

well, what do you think? did they or they did not?
 
How the hell can you tell they are made out of blocks dude.......But I think that scene only suggest how they may feel for one another IMO cloud still isnt over Aeris/Aerith at that stage.....Do you mean imaging them as block people or regular looking folk, Sure with Aeiris dying that elevates tifa or some people might think tifa is No.1 already? but as far as that scene goes allthey do is pend the night togehter they dont Yknow "do it".......ever seeb naked lunch with tifa and aeris......they defenitley do it in that......hehe
 
I'm a cloti fan myself, but I highly doubt they did the nasty beneath the Highwind. I think they just slept together in way that confirms that Cloud considers her as a very, very close friend at the very least.

I dont think they did. Of all the places to actually do it, I think theyd want to be somewhere special and decent. Thought we had a thread on this already? Who noes. But no, I dont think so.
 
i think that they only, spend the night together and maybe a little kiss who knows u can't really tell when they are just blocks xD.
 
How long do you guys think elapsed between the events at the end of disc 1 and the end of disc 2 (ie, the event in question?). A few days? A few weeks? I think the answer to this question is kind of important to the thread question.

In my opinion, I think they did bump uglies. I thinl certain events that happen in the game build towards it, and if FFVII were a movie, thy would certainly do the dirty. The scene is just too convenient to ignore.
 
We all know Cloud tagged that. It was possibly the end of the world, there's no way they spooned all night. They just didn't show it.
 
Let's not forget that the rest of the party saw Cloud and Tifa together. She could be embarrassed about them knowing that she emotionally opened herself to Cloud, or she could be embarrassed that they saw her naked with Cloud. It's pretty ambiguous but I'm going to say it's the first one.

If you watch the scene, they have their clothes on when they wake up. Who has sex, dresses, and then falls asleep? I say they only snuggled.

In all seriousness, there's no way to really tell. They left the scene ambiguous, much like they did with most of the other present-day situations they were in.
 
Well there are three different versions of that scene depending on how you treat Tifa through out the game. Low affection, Moderate affection, high affection.

I personally did not think anything happen. When Tifa asked Cloud how he felt about her he responded with ".............." which is NOT good from what I hear from a few Japanese friends I have. And we see them in one position and the next day they are in the same position.

Also, we see them with clothes on in the morning... Yeah Square probably wanted to keep the game PG, but they could have showed them on the ground covered by something. From what I remember, they have shown other characters that made love without clothes the next day.

Furthermore, the lines from Barret and Cid followed by Tifa's "You were watching/listening!"

If they did have sex, that would just be very creepy and give me a very low opinion of Barred and Cid. (Barret and Cid could have just been watching Tifa sleep on Cloud's shoulder, and Tifa is a shy girl it would make sense that she'd be a little embarassed) Cloud also did not seem embarassed or pissed off that Barret and Cid would have seen, and that isn't Cloud, unless he really is a pimp.

And, it was revealed that Cloud and Tifa were not child friends and that Tifa pretty much ignored Cloud when they were younger. Cloud arrived in Midgar shortly before the game began. It wasn't long after Cloud rediscovered his past by the end of the game. (Less than a week) So really, Cloud and Tifa were still getting to know each other. If they did have sex, it would be more of hook up.

And if they were meant to have it in the high affection scene then it would be optional XD

I'm more of a Clerith fan but I don't mind Cloti. I don't mind if they did but personally I think Cloud with end up with neither. In a way I think he had some affections with Aerith as he began to open up whilst she was around, he actually answered her questions and they had proper conversations instead of Cloud being mute as he can be at times. I don't think Tifa and Cloud did anything under the Highwind because there's nothing there to suggest it. As far as I know they were sitting under the Highwind, talking as close friends and keeping warm - falling asleep.

Thus the whole, Cloud and Tifa were never childhood friends, Tifa ignored him and Cloud was still mourning and wrapped up over Aerith in Advent Children (He slept in the church Aerith spent time in and ignored Tifa, etc's calls)

I think they did something like that to avoid the controversy of sexual content, though yes I know there was already a lot of vulgarity in the game, actual SEX would be a big deal to a lot of people. I say we should just leave this to our imagination and let the evidence we pick up decide for us. It could have been simple subtle hints, but then again, it could just be the perviness in everyone's mind. I for one, think they did not. I don't see why they would keep it such a secret, and also it would make no sense on a big rock, like Highwind Pilot said. I think if the wanted that they would also be a bit more close, not so distant. But it has been a long time since I saw the scene...

Well... there were those incidents in the Wallmarket... in the Honey Bee in, I remember Cloud was in a room, a girl walks in, says something, screen fades to black, and then it says HP and MP restored. And then there was the time in the bath with all the men XD

Then you had Don Cornero and his room of tortue XD

Well, if it happened between Cloud and Tifa, it would have to have been during the high affection scene. But considering the events prior and after, I don't think it would have happened at that specific time. I do think that square lets you choose if Cloud returns his affection to Tifa, but I won't say anymore because that goes into dangerous territory =P

 
Alright I just read up on this as IT WAS AGES ago I played Final Fantasy VII. I think in the higher affection version of the scene they do have sex. As it is stated by Tifa were you watching? xD Also she was really embarassed after she saw the other party members. It does not mean they did do it but it is possible they did. Head on Cloud's shoulder and then the next morning Cloud says Tifa its.... morning. Tifa then says mmmmmmm no cloud just a little more mmmm I know this moment will never happen again... Also in the low afection scene she says were you listening? Probably them moaning but they give us a black screen or it could be reffering too How they talked in a romantic way. But in the higher version were you watching? Ok yes now that makes it sex xD. You know Barett and the others like to eavesdrop :wacky: But then again He loves Aerith xD We will never know but if they do make a remake this scene will be alot more entertaining to say the least :gasp:
 
I think it would have been a good idea, but I can't really say either obviously because they didn't show it.

My guess would be that if it played the sleeping jingle (I cannot remember whether or not it did) during the sequence, then it should be taken as if they did have sex. Other events in the game outside of actually sleeping use that sound to make the implication.. such as when you are breeding chocobos or playing that one mog game at the golden saucer.
 
I don't think they did. Given that they took out the original context of what was supposed to be there (Cloud and Tifa coming out of a Chocobo stable) and replaced it with something a lot more subtle pretty much negates the whole thing. If you wanted to implicate the same meaning, then why take out that scene? If they're supposed to have sex it would have been a bit more obvious other than just snuggled on a rock (I hear those are so comfortable underneath an Airship, btw).
 
So here we go again.....I really wonder if they did it y'know if they did here does that mean Cloud did it with who ever he went on the date with at the Gold Saucer.I mean at that stage Cloud is kind off disinterested sat with his arms crossed staring out the window when hes got a hot chick sat across from him.....its takes him falling into the centre of the earth to get his shit together and actually remember how he felt about Tifa.

So all tho he took on many aspects of Zacks persona when he died he didnt know who Aeris was and if you go far enough into the psychiatry of the guy then he may been enough like Zack to be attracted to Aeris subjugating his real feelings for Tifa creating a kind of cognitive dissinant concerning his berried feelings his childhood sweetheart versus his Zack persona feeling for Aeris .
 
I would have loved to see a FMV sequence of that... Mm!
