After hard work on the RPG Inferno to get it up to snuff, it is now ready for the RPGers of the community to enjoy. :monster:

If you have any suggestions or notice any errors, please post them, and one of the RPG Directors will get right on it, be it myself or one of the others. :P

As promised I would have it ready for everyone as soon as I could, so I am happy to present to you now the RPG, I hope you all enjoy it, and I look forward to seeing members back active in it again. ^_^

Oh, and hope you like the new stat setup, we did our best to build the monsters fairly around it, and we feel it is ready for the public to take on, just come prepared, young warriors and mages alike.

And without further ado, begin your RPGing adventures, everyone. :dave:

Glad that the RPG is up. Looking forward to see the new monsters and environments, and so far, they have been great! Keep up the great work, guys! ^_^

Edit: Is the Fire Dragon the last boss for now? I can't get to Dipan Outskirts, unless that's how it is supposed to be?

Yeah, that's the last boss of these first areas. Really just wanted to get these done so the RPGers could have something, there's no break here, work on more areas is underway for there to be new places to go as soon as possible. :monster:

And what do you mean you can't get to Dipan Outskirts? :hmmm: Glad you like the RPG so far though, we're doing our best to make the RPG Inferno as good as we can, and I've been it's biggest speed booster I'll dare to say, so you have the RPG you have, now. :dave:

What did you think of that boss? I tried to make it so it wouldn't be too much of a pushover, but something of a challenge, and may require those who try to go through all the areas as fast as they can without grinding, to gain a few extra levels to defeat it. :P

But did you have no real trouble rushing through all the monsters in all the areas? >.> Seems you ran quite a successful speed run. ^^;

So, you're going to be getting into it now Julius? :D If so, well, I hope you like it, unlike somebody that is being a griping whiner on Windows Live, I think he has some personal vendetta against me though. :hmmm:

Anyways, enjoy the RPG Inferno, buddy. :monster:

How does this avatar thing work? When I think RPG and avatar, I think tiny little sprite person.. yet it allows me to upload my own. Is the avatar like, the regular avatar that's shown on the forum and my sprite person will be determined once in the RPG? And what are those little 1,2,3,4.. dimensions? So confused. :gonk:

You can upload whatever pic you have on your computer, or enter an image's url to use for a character avatar, as long as it is kept within the size of 200x200 pixels.

But if you go to use a larger pic, you set the size for it anywhere from 0x0 (pointless, really. xD) to 200x200. Mine is 168x200 in size. The left numbers are the width, the right is the height.

And what do you mean you can't get to Dipan Outskirts?

After I defeated the Fire Dragon and went on to the next area, the trigger to get back there took me to a blank page. Maybe getting there using that exact trigger won't be available till the next areas are released, I bet :hmmm:

The areas were great. I loved them. The Fire Dragon was a great boss! I actually had to use some potions and died a few times. Without Alicia, I would have been screwed!

Good to hear you liked the areas so much, just what I'd want to hear as an RPG Director. :monster: And I tried to make that Fire Dragon boss challenging, so it would make for a good fight, glad it seems to have served that purpose.

Did you think the other monsters were a bit weak in comparison, though? I wondered about it, but wanted to air on the side of caution with this new stat setup and didn't want it to be unreasonably tough, either. :hmmm:

I'll try make sure the next areas are consistently a good challenge, however much of a test these first areas were. :P

Good work on the RPG so far. It's been challenging, but not frustratingly so. It's been very enjoyable so far!

Yeah, it did the same to me as well. I just did that fight prectically by myself, and almost died from it. I had to use the rest of my potions, but I beat it.

Maybe I should level up some more before I continue. :hmmm:

Isn't it fun fighting in a forest? :wacky: But yeah, glad it has been fun, I'm thinking I may be adding a bank to Dipan Castle Town. :hmmm: The RPG really needs one. >.>

Pardon the double post, but just thought I'd make a post to update saying that one of the side bits you can do involving the NPCs at the Tavern is now done.

After having that conversation with Tifa, you now get taken to Dipan Tavern Cellar, where there will be a Boss to fight there. Have fun trying to kill it! :wacky:

Advice: 60+ SPD, and make sure Alicia's Heal is at a good level, she has decent MP, high MAG, and high HP, and you should have very high STR/MAG to face it, high DEF as well as a lot of HP of course is a huge help. And stock up on the best potions you can, as much as you can.

Once you do defeat it, return to speak with Tifa, and she will reward you quite nicely when you select the new Chat option that will appear there. :monster: Getting in a lot of turns for each of the enemy's is crucial, since it's attacks really hurt, but other than it's DEX, it is quite slow.

I killed the beast :neomon: Everyone's Grudge can be a killer if you have low HP, so watch out for it. It was a fun battle, and the reward is really helpful in grinding.

Great Job, Wolf :awesome:

Well, credit given where credit is due; it was Koloth's idea to have a drunken Tonberry there. :wacky: But aside from that idea and him finding the pic for the Cellar, I made the stuff just for that optional side bit.

I am saying bit because it isn't much of a quest, just a tough battle, where having the right strategy is critical to victory, double turning it, having Alicia with good HP, MP and MAG for healing, and having a lot of STR/MAG to damage it.

And thanks, I tried to make this an extra challenging battle, where a lot of strategies won't even work. :gasp:

I tried fighting Tonberry and it squashed me. So now I'm raising a pet :rage:

I think Amanda beat it all by herself though, she's awesome xD

Wow. o_O Generally having the healer Alicia pet is a must for it, but I guess it is physically possible without it then, huh? Just very hard. >.>

It is Level 28, so it gives good exp. :monster:

Is talking to Tifa supposed to be the only way to access the cellar btw? If I try and access it the other way, I'm told that there's no travel services available?

Yep, that's meant to be the only way, so that you do actually have that conversation with Tifa, but the Cellar is part of the Tavern, so...yeah. xD
