Riku.

You're not very intelligent, are you? :)

Many of your english words, such as humor, come from the latin language. In Europe though, many of those same words have the french added in addition, which makes words like humoUR and coloUr.

So, when I say the latin sytle is better, I'm simply saying that I don't care for the french addition to the words. Not that we should all speak latin.

I'm so sorry please forgive me, as you obviously are highly intelligent.
Do quite a few of 'my' english words come from latin?
Gawrsh shucks I didn't know that thanks for enlightening me.
Pity how you absolutely failed to, you know, make an arguement. Hey next time why don't you tell me something about the french revolution? It would be equally relevant. Regardless of which style you prefer, humour is still spelt with an 'u'. Next time dear please do try to argue logically like an adult, it probably would benefit you. Though not to a great extent, as you are wrong. But hey, have a nice day.

...:ffs: It's...just a fucking word. And why does it matter if I've grown accustomed to spelling humor humour or color colour? In fact I prefer spelling them that way. ._. There's no need to make a debate over the way people spell words, American or not.

Don't worry, you spelt American correctly.
However, I do think that semantics are important

It's not really. More of a joke and something that I had a good laugh about when I saw Angelus point out the same thing in another thread.

I just didn't like this guy trying to act like he understood the post when he clearly didn't. Especially with that whole, "My dear boy," thing. :)

Now that he has responded though and apparently turned my argument (The one which never existed, and therefore can't be found) around, the joke is dead.

It's really not a big deal. More like a, "OMG! DON'T TALK LIKE THAT! LATIN IS COOLERZ THEN FRENCH!!! RAWR!"

*Shrug*

I guess I should just post that next time and be more clear :p

Psh, the spelling doesn't really matter does it? I live in Australia and we spell it coloUr and HumoUr...
Why does it matter if one person spells it one way and another does another? Its all pronounced the same way anyway...

Apologize comes from the Greek word 'apologia' :monster:

@Tifa...I don't want to blame Eryth...she might hurt me :sad2:
But I did enjoy the Kuchisake-Onna story, it was epic...I also enjoyed Sammara (w/e) coming through my TV :wacky:

sex, lies, and bloodlust.

Yes, but I couldn't be arsed letting it diez. :monster:
It's 'cause you clearly have a thing for me. <3

Hey Dave, you could always be Reeekooo!! xD Remember?
Nooooooo, it was "HI CLOUD! ARE YOU CLOUD?!"

Heheh. I kind of like this guy.

He's cocky and doesn't give a shit. *Shrug*
Not at all like anyone we know. <3

Quick, start a revolt against staff with him!
I was planning on saying something similar. But then that could be handed right back to me. Twice. :wacky:

I don't plan to revolt.

Forgive me, my tolerance for ignorant people that choose to whine about how I leave a text signature, and refer to me as gay is dangerously low.

You sound far too much like this Horus character right nao.

And what do you expect to make with YOUR attitude?

I'll tell you what you're making.

You're making me DIE of laughter.

~Riku
She's obviously not making you laugh hard enough.

/uncalled for :wacky:

Maybe with the french involved. :(

Latin word=HUMOR

Given that we're speaking English, not latin, HUMOUR is the word we'll be using :wacky:

I just quoted this because I literally said LOL when I read it and felt the need to share my amusement with lawdz.

You need to look over these parts again since it's clear you don't get it at all. :p

We're all speaking english, there is however different spellings for the same words. For instance, you probably find many americans who spell humor like humour. The reason is because we don't insert the french connotation like ya'll over there in Britian do.

Oh, and once again, it's not supposed to be serious. ;) It's supposed to be utterly ridicilous, which it is, but in a completely different and pathetic way.
