This is NOT me playing. This video was done by DarkKefka. However, I am looking to do the same thing. I am looking to beat nemesis using only Rikku. I think I can do it. I'll upload some screen shots of Rikku's Sphere grid on my file as soon as I can. Anyone think I can do it?
 
Good luck with the challenge. I personally defeated Nemesis using Tidus, Wakka, and of course, Rikku. I only had Break HP Limit armor on Tidus. You'll need a bunch of Chocobo Wings and Wings to Discovery, Gambler's Spirit, to be able to do it.

I'll be honest and say I did watch it all ^_^...I sort of skipped to the last 5 minutes to see if he did it.
But good look to you ^_^
 
It's probably possible to defeat Nemesis with any character solo, if you use the sphere grid correctly. It's a nice challenge for completionists.

Not one I'll be trying anytime soon though :lol:
 
It all looks so bloody nice and easy after the grid-gruelling. Completely flawed system.


Though I can't help but be impressed. Stupid game...
 
I think it would be pretty easy as long as your rikku is fast enough and has enough HP. If she does all you have to do is heal, then fight, then heal then fight.
 
Umm...okay, I have some of my Rikku's stats memorized. I don't remember them ALL (I really should write them down.)but I do remember the important ones. Her strength is at 220, Accuracy at 169, umm...her agility is high enough to dodge a lot of Juggarnaut's counter attacks. Luck is at a WHOPPING 43. Yeah, that one's hard to raise up any. I need to find master spheres and clear spheres. I'm going to try to upload soon a video of her sphere grid when I have it nearly complete. In order to do this, I have to fill in EVERY SINGLE NODE. It's grueling, but in the end, I think it'll be worth it. ^_^
 
FFX is probably the easiest game to equally level out all your characters to maximum efficiency and at that point in the game any single character can take down almost any threatening boss in the game. The problem with Nemesis late in the game is not his difficulty if your characters are close to maxxed out, but with how much time it takes to beat him. Hit after hit after hit even at 99,999 a pop still takes quit some time.
 
Congrats on that, but that's not that difficult to do. In my main FFX game I have well over 900hrs played (since 2002) all my characters are at max everything, with the exception of luck. The only two that have max luck are Tidus & Wakka. So pick a character I'll take down Nemesis with whoever.
 
I maxed out in Accuracy yesterday. I'm working on Agility right now, which is around 218. However, I can't remember for the life of me who drops Agaility Spheres! I'll most likely be on tonight, so I'll be sure to post full information on Rikku then.
