The first 3 episodes have been aired over here, however my friends say that, there is only these three episodes, however watching it they keep making references to other things that have or going to happen in series 9 emmm. does anyone know of they will be continuing series 9 or not.

As far as I know, the new ones are just a mini-series. A few specials.

Wouldn't expect a full series, if it ins;t finished yet then it will be soon.

So far another full series hasn't been announced, but some members of the cast have expressed an interest in taking it further for maybe even two mores series.

I missed these episodes as I was in Greece and didn't realise they were on at this time and so forgot to set it to record as well.

I've heard they weren't very good and relied too much on cgi as opposed to humour.

If so I just hope Red Dwarf doesn't crash out.

It was just a 3-part special. They may be considering another full series but it's unlikely. I personally, even though I love it, hope it doesn't return. It just won't be the same and I fear the 'Dwarf will just flop completely, it's time has gone. I liked the new episodes over-all but they could of been a lot better.

I'm sure I heard from somewhere that they'll just skip season 9 and just go straight to 10 if they choose to continue it since that's sort of how BTE set it up to be. I do hope that they do continue to make new episodes if it's on the BBC (probably unlikely now) so they'll have a bigger budget and hopefully bring back the live audience (which was so needed in BTE).

I'd also like more since I'd like to see some true closure to it. BTE finished it better than Series VIII but damn it, I loved seeing some new Dwarf.
