Project Demonix [RP]

Rene Skylar

"Quite impressive." Rene clapped as the woman walked out of the bar. He had listened to the ruckus inside and smiled as she defeated each and every demon with ease. He jumped from his perch on the roof and landed several meters in front of her. "You're Zildaanian corret? The last of your race if i'm not mistaken." He looked at her deeply with his red eyes and smirked. "You are not from this time are you?" He had sensed something different about her from when he first set eyes on her but know that she was this close she could sense almost every little thing about her.

Faith exited the bar, feeling a little bit better now that some damn demons were gone. She came to a halt when someone started clapping. Ensuring that the bottom half of her face was well covered from the weather with her black scarf, she turned to face the man who had applauded her. She watched him jump from the roof down to a few metres in front of her. "And who might be asking this?" she asked, glaring coldly at Rene. "What if I am Zildaanian? You're demon yourself if I'm not mistaken." She took out her dark crossbow and aimed at him. "Now if you're not going to answer any of my questions, then we're going to have a few problems, aren't we?" She growled under her breath when he said she wasn't from this time.

The memory of being sucked into the time portal overwhelmed her again. Now back in her own time, Patricia was alone and probably vulnerable. "What if I'm not from here? That's not significant right now," assumed Faith, as she lowered her crossbow and started to arm it with arrows in the meantime. He wasn't going to attack her yet, but would know immediately from the moment he'd plan an attack. "On the other hand, I would advise you to not attack me. You see, unlike any other Zildaanians you may have seen, I'm not like them at all." He's a demon. Why isn't he attacking me yet? Any demon would strike down a creature like me at first sight. I understand little about this world and I still need to go back in time to put it right.

"Yes I figured you were different." Rene told her, sensing her energy once more. Psychic aren't you, Rene thought knowing that she was in his mind, looking to see when he would attack. As soon as he thought this he blocked out his mind, rejecting her from him.

"You believe you are the only psychic to have existed?" Rene asked her. "There have been many mortals with the ability of telepathy and telekinesis. Why do you fight with weaponry when you could easily crush a demon by just sending a telepathic wave?"

"I know what you are thinking." Rene told her, you didn't need to be psychic to figure it out. "Do not worry, I don't plan to fight you." Rene told her. To prove his point his lifted his sword whilst it was still in its sheath and placed it on the ground

"For your information I am not completely a demon. My mother was human and my father a demon."

Leon Skylar approached Ruckal to provide him with information. Ruckal did not react, he merely stared at his companion.

"He is here." Leon told him, speaking of Rene.

Ruckal immediately figured out who he was talking about. The traitor, Rene Skylar. Ruckal instantly knew because he knew that traitor hasn't deserved to be referred to by his name since he did what he did.

"It is thous personal vendetta. Therefore, the burden of smitting judgement amount his wretched soul is on your shoulders." Ruckal said, coldly. "I shall accompany thou however, Skylar defeat must be an event proved by a witness..."

Faith wasn't put off her guard when Rene knew what she was. Many demons had already faced her and died, knowing what she was. What made him any different to her? "I don't believe that, no," she shook her head. "Those mortals who possessed those abilities couldn't handle the power handed down to them ... as I'm about to say, it was a vital flaw that Zildaan allowed to escape, but unintentionally." She could easily remember when a human had accidentally acquired her powers when Zildaan's temple had been broken into and caused all Zildaans to temporarily lose their powers. Their powers were transferred to the nearest hosts, which happened to be humans.

"I fight with both," replied Faith. "Power isn't everything. The body has to make some action of its own." She watched him lift his sword and place it on the ground while it was still in its sheath. At this point, Faith put her dark crossbow away and listened about his heritage. "You may find this funny and a little bit coincidental, but it's the same with me. Human mother, Zildaanian father, which makes me half and half." Many things had happened ever since she discovered the truth of her heritage. But now was not the time to dwell on the past. She had to remain alert and then suddenly, she did sense other presences. "Demons ..." she said. "Pureblood demons are here looking for someone." She turned to him. "You, perhaps?"

"Yes." Rene told her. He walked forwards and took up his sword once more. "I am sorry, but I must leave. If I stay you will most likely be killed." As Rene said this he suddenly recognized the energy sources. "Ruckal and my father..." Rene muttered as he looked at Faith. "I highly recommend you leave this place woman." As he said this his entire body disappeared as he sped away from her. He jumped to the nearest roof and looked back at her. "I am certain our paths will cross again. Be careful." He then left her and ran to a nearby field, waiting for his father and Ruckal to appear.

Leon Skylar

"Understood Ruckal, but do not interfere if I may begin to lose." Leon told him as he disappeared in high speed. Leon ran at his fastest speed. Knowing that Rene had sensed him and Ruckal. Leon sensed another energy but ignored is as he began to pursue Rene.

"Why did you have to come child?" Leon said as he closed in on the spot Rene had stopped at. After several more seconds Leon arrived at a large field and spotted his only son. Leon took off his cloak and stepped forward, looking coldly at his son.

"Hello Rene." Leon said bluntly. Rene stood and glared at his father.

"Hello Father." Rene told him, he slid his katana up slowly with his thumb, awaiting Leon to either say something or battle.

"man why is the world screwed up?" Gunnery muttered neutrally as he wandered around the town. The demons had retreated a while back, forcing Gunnery to check around as he pretended to be a local citizen. "man i need something to do... Hey who's that?" Gunnery slid behind a building and watched as a man and a demon spoke to each other. "either that idiot has a death wish, or he is able to kill a demon. I hope it's the second one" Jet checked his vision and found both were demons, but the human looking one was half-demon. "well i had better help the less demonic one" Jet thought aloud as he pulled out a sniper rifle and aimed at at the full demon, then paused. "that guy must be more powerful then i think, checking ratings" Jet pulled out a laptop from his body. He checked the demon's appearance and the power levels he had glimpsed by the manner it stood. "oh great, it's a warlord" Jet muttered as he put away his sniper rifle. He then pulled out a high-powered laser he kept with him in case of an emergency. "this is going to take a while to set up, so i hope that half-demon will stall" Jet muttered as he started to set up the laser.

"Friend of yours?" Leon asked, nodding behind him to the strange robot that had appeared.

"Can't say I know him." Rene told his father, annoyed that the robot had appeared and seemed to be setting up some sort of contraption, probably to kill them both.

"How about we take this somewhere else?" Leon asked him. Rene nodded and the pair disappeared as they ran and jumped their way to a new location.

(OOC: Do you get what I'm trying to do Shadow? Don't interfere, ask in the Discussion thread before joining in on a battle)

With this final thought, Hydra dashed to the very heart of the cave, which, was the chamber that contained the power source. He could now see it clearly: quite resembling a bow, it surely wasn't one. In fact, it didn't seem as if it used any ammunition. Huh? So this was what caused the doom on the humans? An energy operated device? Wait... this device is the work of Zildaanian technology... yet it holds incredible Demonic powers... and still it could even be used by a human who could manage his energy corr...

"Who dares break into Zibarn's Cave?! And what are you planning?! Do you think you can steal the Zharkjim!" Roared the guardian of the magical item, of which Hydra had partially forgotten as he admired the power source, which was an item he had never seen before in his life. Seeing his thoughts interrupted, Hydra decided that he had to fight this so called Zibarn. And let's see... what's this guy... and where is 'he', or maybe I should say 'it'? Unable to find this foe, Hydra decided to play the same game.

"Okay, as you won't show yourself, Zibarn, if that's really your name. Either way, I won't give you that handicap, you moron! And yes, If you haven't realized it yet, I'm here for the Zharkjim, dumbass!" Said Hydra as he unlit his fire dagger, and tried to remember the aspect of the 'room' he was in. The entity he was going to fight was still unknown to Hydra to have a good fight. Now Hydra had removed any advantage that Zibarn might have had, whilst he recovered his energy. Let's see... this guy probably still can see what I'm doing, but at least not so clearly. So I'll just use my classical technique to defeat stupid and impulsive foes, but before I do that I need to recover some more energy... well, gotta run then!

Cling! Clank! This guy must be using somekind of metallic weapons... and he seems to see somewhat clear at this moment, for the attacks are each time nearer... too bad that I now have enough energy to finish this. Hydra stopped running and jumped towards the center of the chamber, near to where the Zharkjim was supposed to be, and in a matter of milliseconds, united the tips of his daggers and infused his energy into them. A brilliant glow emerged from that point, whilst a dense mist covered the whole atmosphere. Ah... a nice cool bree... "YOU SONOFA...!" managed to shout Hydra as something sscratched his right leg, barely on top of his knee. This meant the end of the battle, for now Hydra knew where exactly the beast was, not only due to the mist, but even more due to the attack.

"Oh, so you think that a scratch is going to defeat me? Now you've done it!" As Hydra said this, he managed to perform a double image to lure the enemy. And as soon as Zibarn lunged at the copy, Hydra sticked both his daggers right in the head of the beast. Oh, so it was just a mere wild beast that protected this... "Well, bye bye Zibarn" Said Hydra as he took the Zharkjim and left the cave, but not before chanting a curative spell to close his scratch.

(OOC: I'll go deeper about the Zharkjim on my next post, while I go to Yakutsk)

Random Basement

Kuyo was making arranjements on Hiryuu. Placing his legs and arms with "other" parts he had been colecting through his life. "There. You have now more strengh and more precision on your arms and legs. You should be able to at least harm that pitiful excuse of demon. As for the weapon, i'll change it to a better one... Now if you excuse me." Hiryuu was smiling on the fact his arms and legs were replaced with something more powerfull. His weapon was now a huge mech axe. The "skin" of the axe was made of a strong and tough demon skin, while the blades of it were replaced with round laser. The laser performed the blades of the former axe but, now they were more powerfull than never. Kuyo knew, Hiryuu wouldn't have the slightest chance of winning, so he add a booster in the weapon. Whenever Hryuu was about to lose, the weapon reacted and it would take the demons life in exchange of ultimate force. The drawback was that, if the demons life was too short, he would die almost instantly.

Outdoor

Kuyo admired his "work" on Hiryuu and expected to see some results. He then continue to walk around the city, leaving behinde Hiryuu to get used to it. He was testing the abilitys of the booster on a commander level demon. He had to see some resukts, work on them and make something better out of it.

Rene and Leon Skylar

"Why have you come here child?" Leon asked, Ruckal had yet to arrive and Leon had begun to wonder what was taking him so long. They had arrived in a wide rocky terrain. Rene was leaning on a large boulder and his arms were crossed defiantly.

"I would ask you the same thing Father, except I know that the blood lust in your mind demands that it be satiated." Rene replied, a sort of distaste in his mouth. "I am here to stop you and the rest of your kind from destroying this world."

"My kind? You seem to forget that you are of my blood also." Leon told him, smirking slightly. He began to draw his sword, knowing that if Ruckal appeared now and saw them as they were he would most definitely intervene. His long black katana was one half of the Skylar treasures, it was made from the ancient forges of the Skylar manor and infused within it was the strength of the best warriors within their clan. Rene noticed he was wielding that blade and smirked.

"They allow you to take it knowing that the other half is missing?" Rene queried. He took out his own blade and revealed the other half of the Skylar blades. The long white blade was made from the same material as the black one except that instead of being infused with the strength and skill of the ancient warriors of the Skylar clan. Instead Rene expelled that energy replaced it with his own skill and strength

"That blade is no longer part of this clan." Leon told him, he spat on the ground showing that he detested that blade. "Not only have you infused it with something that stinks of weakness, you have expelled the ancient strength of our clan from it." He raised his blade over his shoulder and pointed the tip of it towards Rene. He ran his hand along the blade, causing it to shimmer with dark energy. Rene instantly knew what he was doing and readied himself in a battle stance. Leon looked at his son and felt saddened. "Begin!" He shouted slamming his blade down on the ground. A huge shock wave of black energy sped towards Rene. The young half-demon timed his blow perfectly and smashed his blade into the shock wave. Rene held his blade there for several moments before pushing his blade forward, destroying the shock wave completely. As the dark energy disappeared, Rene looked at where his father had stood. Rene's eyes widened as he noticed his father had disappeared. In an absolute instant Leon stood directly in front of Rene. The man brought his blade down on Rene from high above, Rene seized the brief moment between being struck by the blade and being attacked by bringing his own blade up and blocking the blow.

"I see your reflexes have not dulled." Leon said to his son, he put his energy into the blade and pushed Rene's blade down. Rene felt the ground beneath his feet be pushed down, causing him to go lower than his father.

"And I can tell your power hasn't changed at all old man." Rene told his father. Damn! Rene thought to himself, I didn't think I'd have to form so damn quickly!

"Hmph, I know what you are thinking son. You are in your pathetic human form, change my son. Fight me with your true strength!" As Leon shouted this Rene knew he would definitely have to. Blue energy began to rise around him. He kicked off his fathers sword and landed several meters away. Leon stood and smirked as he watched his son. Rene began to roar with anger as the blue energy around him pulsed.

"Awaken, Yaren." Rene said as the blue energy exploded. As the energy around him subsided Rene entire aura began to change. He became cold and calm. Leon smirked at the form and began to speak.

"The Lightning Shadow." Leon stated, "You truly believe that speed alone will be able to defeat me?" As he said this however, Rene disappeared from view. Within a split millisecond Leon managed to bring his blade up and block Rene's attack. "Damn, you're faster than you used to be." Rene disappeared once more and striked Leon's blade multiple times within a second. Leon's sword arm was forced upwards, seizing that chance, Rene struck the blade as hard as he possibly could causing the sword to be sent flying away into the ground. Rene went to deal the finishing blow but was shocked as Leon grabbed Rene's blade from mid-air. Rene's entire form finished shimmering from it's high speed instantly. Leon held Rene up by his blade and smirked. He pulled Rene close to him and grabbed him by his throat. He began to slowly choke Rene. "You may have awesome speed child, but without strength to back it up then it may as well be useless." He threw Rene to the side, making him hit a large rock face.

"Fight me with your true strength Rene, or I will kill you."

"I dare not think of ruining thou battle." Ruckal answered to Leon.

Leon then took off to locate and fight his son. Ruckal then followed Leon, walking at a calm pace.

Ruckal eventually arrived to the scene of the battle. Rene was surrounded by a blue aura begun surrounding Rene. Ruckal stood and stared at the battle.

Lightning Shadow...? Interesting. Who shall meet their end on these grounds...?

Ruckal watched as Rene charged towards his father and the two begun crossing blades.

...I have a feeling neither will...

Rene growled as the demon within him began to stir in anger. "Hmph!" Rene growled as he pushed himself from the wall and landed neatly on the ground in a crouch. "You wish to battle me truly?" Rene stood back up and glared at his father evilly. Rene had noticed that Ruckal had turned up and was watching them from afar. Damn, Rene thought to himself and he readied his blade, even if I beat him I'll still have to take on Ruckal.

"I know what you are thinking child." Leon told his son. "Even if you manage to defeat me Ruckal will not interfere. He has promised me that much. He may be young and around your age but he is very trustworthy and powerful." Rene's aura began to change once more as energy began to rise above him once more. Instead of blue energy surging around him, blood red energy began to pulse. It had the strange appearance of flames and his clothes and weapon began to form into a different shape.

"RENZU!" Rene shouted loudly. The energy around him became blazing flames and began to cover Rene's entire body. After several seconds the flames subsides and in Rene's place stood a giant covered in what seemed to be hardened magma. Rene's katana had changed form also and turned into what looked like a broadsword. The surface of the blade had hardened magma on it.

"The Flaming Giant." Leon said simply, he readied himself in his defensive stance and awaited for the giant to make his move. Rene threw himself forward as fast as his bulking form allowed. Leon dodged to the side and kicked off the side of Rene's arm, hoping to make him fall over. He failed and allowed Rene to grab his leg. Rene threw the man around his head and lugged him towards a boulder. As the dust settled, a blur span from the dust, directly at Rene. He instantly recognized it as his fathers own katana and brought his right arm instinctively, the sword dug itself into the hardened magma and Rene felt the blade just manage to cut his arm slightly before being completely stopped. He felt his blood drip down his arm and begin to gather at the bottom of his armored arm. Rene threw the blade away from him and smirked as it dug itself into the ground. He quickly seized the moment and charged forwards with his blade. Leon easily dodged the blow by jumping upwards and landing on the blade as it buried itself in the spot Leon was merely a moment ago. Leon jumped on Rene's head and pushed him into the wall as he jumped forwards. He grabbed his blade from mid-air and used his momentum to throw the blade at Rene's back. At the very last moment Rene managed to turn around and felt the blade bury itself in the middle of Rene's chest. Rene was immediately pinned to the wall and his form disappeared. He was in his regular form now, blood had begin to gush from his wound in his chest and blood had begun to seep into his mouth. He spat it to the ground and glared at his father.

Ruckal crossed his arm and continued staring at the battle. The battle seemed to be getting more furious and powerful.

He noticed Rene use Renzu...He had to turned into a magma giant.

Hmm...Flaming giant...but I do believe he may need more than that to fight Leon...

Ruckal sighed. He then looked up and saw the father and son continue to cross their blades...but then Rene was struck by his father. Ruckal did not react. Rene lost his form...was this curtains for the traitor.

The son of Leon should put up more a fight then this. Nothing less could be expected from a Skylar. But that mattered not.

"Leon. Do not hesitate to finish him." Ruckal commanded

((ooc: my weapons apparently match rene's but i have had these sort of weapons since my first rp, the dark and light blades. heres my intro post :D))
Fayd sat up against the rubble that once was his fathers home. He grabbed a average sized rock and grinding it down the blade of his dark katana. He smiled as sparks poured from it. The smouldering flames were slowly dying in the ruins. The embers cast an eerie glow on his face and body. His smile was cast in horrible relief against his tanned skin. with a final stroke of the stone he swung his dark blade a few times before sliding it into its sheath with a satisfying tssshk! sound. Again the tssshk! sound rang clear as a bright shining blade swung forth. he swung it about as it shone menacingly against the flames. he stabbed it shallowly into the ashes and commenced sharpening that one. when he was happy he sheathed his blade with the tell tale tssshk! noise He straightened up and threw the stone threw the one contact window in his parents house ruins. "happy birthday Fayd" he said to himself as he walked away

"Do not command me Ruckal." Leon said bitterly. "You seem to forget that we are of the same level." Leon turned to look at Rene and growled. "You are not fighting with your true power Rene." This was the first time Leon had spoke Rene's name which made Rene unbelievably angry.

"Do not dare even utter my name Father." Rene snapped. He had regained consciousness now and felt the true demon energy begin to fully awaken. He pushed himself off the wall with the blade still in his chest. "I will kill you my father!" Rene's voice had begun to change, it had a more demonic tone now. Rene's eyes begun to flash black as he pulled the blade from his wound. Blood spurted as he pulled it out inch by inch but it was as though he didn't even feel it. Leon stepped back, preparing himself for Rene to attack. Rene finally pulled the blade from his wound and threw it back at his father. The man caught the blade easily as Rene stumbled slightly. Black energy began to gather around Rene's entire form. Rene's wounds slowly began to close.

"I WILL MURDER YOU!?" Rene screamed as the energy exploded revealing a completely different Rene. Not in appearance but in manner and aura. His appearance was completely the same except he seemed to radiate pure, evil demonic energy. He had a huge evil smile on his face and his eyes seemed to be even darker going towards black more than red.

"Heh heh heh heh." Rene began to laugh slightly. His entire body instantly disappeared, Leon's eyes widened as Rene suddenly appeared in front of him. Rene's blade connected with Leon's. The impact of the blow literally sent Leon flying into a wall. Luckily the man twisted in mid-air and managed to land on the wall feet first. He instantly pushed himself off the wall towards Rene. As soon as he did this however Rene began to laugh crazily. "HA HA HA HAAA!" Rene blocked the incoming blow from Leon with amazing ease and smiled as he brought his foot up and kicked Leon powerfully in the chest. Leon was sent flying back very far but landed with ease.

"You cannot control your demon form can you Rene?" Leon smirked. "But nevertheless, if you wish to use your true form. Then so shall I." As he said this Leon's own energy began to ripple around his body. It appeared like lightning sparks circling around his body. "Unlike you, I have full and total control over my true form!"

As he said this the energy exploded. Leon's entire form began to change, his features were more demonic as his skin began to form into a sort of black scale. He began to grow large blackened horns and his eyes turned into a strange steely blue. "Now let the true battle start!" The two men disappeared and all could be heard was the clashing of blades as they collided in mid-air. Rene threw himself upwards by pushing off Leon's blade as he narrowly avoided it. Leon followed by using his energy to propel himself upwards. The two began to hack furiously at each other. They both bore equal amounts of cuts, each deeper than the one before. They never once even used their magic.

"This will be my final attack child." Leon told him as they landed, barely out of breath. It had begun to rain, causing the blood from each warriors wound to fall to the ground and pool beneath their feet.

"Bring it on old man!" Rene shouted as he began to glow with black energy. Leon did the exact same except his energy rippled with blue lightning. The pair began to charge at the exact time. In a single instant the pair had passed each other. For several moments Rene stood with his blade's tip leaning against the ground whilst Leon stood with his blade high in the air. All of a sudden the wound Leon had inflicted on Rene burst. A wide cut from bottom right of his torso to the top left appeared, causing blood to spurt out. Blood began to pour form his mouth as he returned to his original form.

Rene fell backwards and began to stare up at the sky, the life beginning to leave his eyes. Leon also had returned to his original form as he began to walk towards the fallen body of his son. "Please, stay still my child and you may just live for another hour or so." He noticed that Rene had let go of his sword and frowned. He leaned over Rene and picked up the white katana. "You are powerful child, you have the ruthlessness and strength of a demon yet have the compassion and skill to learn even more as a human."

"Wh- Why don't you finish me dammit?" Rene demanded with the remainder of his strength.

"Because you had the potential to do something that I could not. Rebel." Leon told him in a whisper. "Live child, live and become stronger so that you may fight me as my equal." As he said this Leon walked towards Ruckal and nodded. "Come, we must attend to more pressing matters." He then disappeared, allowing Ruckal to follow.

Rene looked up at the night sky as the rain continued to make his blood pool around him. "D- Damn..." Rene muttered as he closed his eyes and became unconscious.

Fayd hopped into the portal to get back to the earthen realm. slowly he looked around at the surroundings hahad landed himself in. "Great snow. I love snow!" Fayd said unenthusiastically as he trodged through the ankle deep white carpet on the mountain trail. the lower he got the less snow was swirling around his boots. yet he was beginning to get cold. "Damn human temperature ranges!" Fayd grumbled as he continued on his way down the trail. He had been walking for about 25 minutes until his arcane senses picked up the crackling of flames. he decided to head towards it until he found the source. His eyes picked up movement in the entrance to the cave. before he noticed himself do it, both blades were drawn and he was ready to fight. As soon as he got within range he called "HALT!, WHO GOES THERE?" He stepped closer to the figure. both blades concealed and ready to fight if needs be

Moments ago

After kuyo left Hiryuu's company, he found himself in a cave. Inside it, he unpacked his books and ink. The cave had a slight hall, with something like stones instead chairs. He lighted up small bonfire and made his way to the books.

Present

Kuyo had written his "subject" number 92 and it's "experiments". He quickly sensed another demon not far from there and closing in. "HALT!, WHO GOES THERE?" said the person infront of him. He quickly stood up, cleaned his glasses and his hands. "Oh, hi there. Don't be too agressive, i'm not here to hurt you." Kuyo picked up one of his books and started to close it. "Will you make me company in this cold place?" said Kuyo, has he was sitting and warming his hands near the bonfire and offering a sit next to him.

Stephen's eye's slowly opened as he awoke from his evening slumber, his Alarm clock read 7:30 AM. he sat up in bed and placed his yellow furred feet on the floor. He reached over onto his bed side table and grabbed one of four white wrapping bandages. he began wrapping it around left his forearm and hand, He did the same with the next one but around his right arm and hand. The remaining two he did the same as on his arms but with his shin, ankles and feet but then pulled on a pair of orange open toed leather pouches. Stephen then pulled on a pair of Orangey brown three quarter lengths and a thick black belt. he grabbed a small vest like jacket and pulled it on. Stephen then grabbed a white bandage like piece of cloth and wrapped it around his head.

After getting dressed he walked over to a cupboard and pulled out a wooden box. After Opening it Stephen removed his two matching daggers and slid them into place on his belt. he pulled one out and checked how sharp it was and after a quick sharpening he slid it back into place. He did the same with the other knife and then exited his room. As he closed his door he turned and walked down the corridor towards the research lab dojo.

As he Entered there were already genetically modified late teenagers training. "Hey Stephen" one half monkey shouted over to him. Stephen looked over and saw him hanging from a ceiling "hey Sten, hows it going?" he replied. as he walked in to begin his daily workout a panicked man sprinted in "Stephen your needed in the command center, your getting released" Stephen looked at the floor "looks like the outside world has a problem." Stephen announced

the Tiger man began walking towards the command center. After 10 minutes of traversing through corridors he came out into a large room that had many computers in it "this looks like something from star trek" he announced with a smile. an elderly man strode over to Stephen "I'm going to be quick, A portal to the Demonic realm has been opened and we are sending you to help defend the planet, you are the most advanced..." the man began to hesitate "you can call me a mutant, It's what i am because of you" the man smirked "yes, your the most advanced mutant we have, although i don't see why you use those daggers" Stephen smiled "because of my cat like reflexes and speed its an easier choice than a gun" Stephen Smirked as he stepped in closer to the man so they were inches away from each other "also, being half tiger i like being close to my prey as it dies"

Hydra continued his way back to the village. He had picked up the Zharkjim and was trying to test it. The dead trees and vegetation that he had encountered before entering the cave had now changed, and it was yet again a lively forest. So this is supposed to be a multifunction weapon... which functions with mere energy... but... let's see how this works... If I hold the device this way... While holding the device with his right hand from it's very center and focusing energy, the device turned on and mounted onto Hydra's arm, keeping the same bow like shape. Hydra aimed to a nearby tree and shot. A powerful energy blast emerged and pierced the tree instantly. However, it didn't end there, for the shock wave managed to knock off all the leaves. "Nice..." After this, Hydra allowed it to dismount. And how 'bout I try to hold it with both hands... While channeling his energy, the device split in half, one acquired a black color, whilst the other a white one. Then they got longer and became sharp. Meh... just usual dual katanas? Great! Now I'll be one more with those things... Pff... But at least I've got to see how sharp they really are... After letting out a few slashes, the tree he had previously stripped was now just a couple of chunks on the floor. "Well, at least it's got some sharp tips"

I shouldn't keep toying too much with this, so let's just continue the road. Well, I'll just strap this to my back. Continuing his path through the now lively forest Hydra made sure that he was still on time, which was confirmed when he saw the village still intact. However, as soon as he left towards Yakutsk, he sensed two very strong demonic power sources fighting each other, whilst a third observed. Okay, definitely one of em must not be a full demon, for it has also another kind of energy. Wait... Hm... seems that they are already shape-shifting, so thier energy will change as well. Okay, better stay away until it ends... WAIT! It must be the "True Beginning" as the history texts said. It is when the exiled half-demon Rene Skylar fights with his father, Leon Skylar... and... this last one kills his son even after he has used his final form... bu... As soon as the energy that he sensed as Leon Skylar vanished, along with another one, Hydra knew that he was free to go look.

The was completely clear except for a body lying on the ground. However, Hydra couldn't make sure if it was still alive, if Rene Skylar still lived. Okay, okay, so the battle has ended, and Rene Skylar is probably dead alread... no... his energy is still here, it grows weaker by the minute, due to the amount of slashes and the blood that was everywhere. This is what truly marks the beginning of the war... right... Although Rene's energy was still diminishing, it kept as lively as ever, as if it had something to do. Maybe I should save him, for he's still alive... no... that would create a time paradox most probably... although such a chance ain't as high anyway... ugh... what to do... what to do... The energy was almost drifting away when Hydra made his choice. F*CK THE FUTURE! Thought Hydra as he lifted the inert body.

As soon as he managed to carry it, he dashed as fast as he could back to the village, where he lied Rene on a small table. He had already called a doctor, but the legendary half-demon wouldn't live long enough if he didn't try to help himself. Chanting his usual healing spell, he managed to prevent the remainder of Rene's energy to continue diminishing. To to do this, he managed to reduce the blood that was still coming out and cure the lesser wounds. However, Hydra wasn't in the condition to keep the treatment on, and wouuld have to wait for the doctor. "He's all yours, just make sure that he doesn't die, or you'll regret it... seriously" Mark, the doctor, assured Hydra that nothing would go wrong, and disappeared into a hut with Rene.

With this, Hydra turned around and kept watch over the village until Rene could recover. I... this wasn't supposed to happen... I just... I just changed history... What may be the consequences of this? Maybe something bad will happen?
