Project Demonix [RP]

"oh, ok then." Fayd said. "i guess well see each other again sometime." Fayd turned to re-enter the cave and then stopped. Turning back to the outside he watched the retreating figure of kuyo as he walked off. "bye" he went in the cave and grabbed his essentials and exited the cave. "sorry doctor but i will not take your advice, i will worry about him destroying the army." Fayd headed off into the woods in the direction of the base. He drew his katanas with a double 'tssshk!' sound. Sneaking through the trees as silent as the wind. He cautiously stepped toward the base through the forest surrounding it. He was ambushed by a horde of rutterkin, His blades spiralled in his hands with demonic ferocity, slashing this way and that, slicing limbs, veins and arteries as the rutterkin fell to his blade. "Ha ha!" fayd said as the kast fell dead at his feet. He continued on foot to the base. He scaled the wall to reach a better scouting position. "Where are you?" he asked rendomly looking around the camp for the other demon, relying on his demonic sight to find the man as human sight was a little limited in the dark.

Rene Skylar

"Whatever..." Rene muttered as Hydra walked away. He drew his new blade and swished it through the air, smiling as he felt the lightness and durability of the blade. "Hmph, not as good as my regular blade but it shall do..." Rene sheathed his new sword and and grabbed his long black jacket. He slid the jacket on and created another light brown hooded cloak using his kidou. He put the cloak on and covered his head. I wonder... Rene thought as he stared into the sky, that woman, the Zildaanian, is she still alive? She seemed powerful but if she runs into a warlord she will most likely be killed.

As Rene thought this there was a strong surge in the air, Rene's red eyes widened to their full as he recognized the kidou being used. "Arte Of Eternal Pain. Shreading Gales." Rene frowned, "Ruckal... Will someone stop him or will the destruction he wreaks be final?" Rene decided to ignore the threat of Ruckal for now and take himself elsewhere. He slowly began to rise into the air before using kidou thrust to rocket himself forwards, to what he hoped would be the Zildaanian. He did not know why, but something about her was different.

Leon Skylar

"He truly needs to use that technique?" Leon questioned as he too felt the energy being used. "Hmm... So Rene is alive also?" Leon smiled as he sheathed his blade and looked at the pitiful human soldier in front of him. "I do not wish to kill you, go home, fetch your family and leave this place." Leon smirked as he walked away.

"I wonder, are there any decent fighters around? I have felt quite a few powerful presences in the area but have not seen them..."

(This is basically an open invitation to battle Leon, no side will get killed of course. Oh yeah and I cba saying demon magic all the time so I'll just say Kidou)

Zeria sat up and winced, remembering her nasty injuries from her fights, and the old couple's kindness.

"Time to go out for a bit"

She rose to her feet, slowly making her way across the room and smiling at Edna. The old woman gave her a questioning look.

"I'm going out for a bit of fresh air. I will be back soon. I promise"
"Alright, dear"

Zeria strapped on her gear and headed outside, cloak draped over her shoulders. She didn't have her leather top on, but her entire top half was wrapped in bandages, so she was covered. She winced and found a bench to sit on for a while, until a few playful children ran past her, tossing around a ball. One kid threw it rather hard, and it almost sailed over her head into a frozen fountain, but Zeria jumped up, grabbing the ball, and tossed it back to the small kids.

"Thanks, miss!"
"It was no problem"

She once more began walking, this time, towards an empty part of town that was partly destroyed by demon attacks. Zeria winced and coughed up blood, dropping to her knees and biting back a cry of agony. As she turned her head, she noticed the trail of crimson she'd left in the snow, and the bloodstained bandages on her body.
~I must have...ripped the wound open again...somehow...~
Wincing again, she spat up more blood and began to grow dizzy. No one would find her out here...the townspeople didn't come to this part of town anymore.

"Curses...!"

Zeria forced herself to her feet, just barely, and started back for the town, leaving an even deeper trail of blood...

Walking across the village, Faith could only sense two things here: death and fear. Ever since being ripped apart from Patricia and her own time in space, she hadn't really felt any of that. The one girl who wanted to change the world had been attacked by her first demon and hurled nearly four hundred years into the future. She herself belonged in the year 2008, but was now stuck here in 2400. Since she was partly Zildaanian, part of her heritage, Faith Crest felt it was her duty to rid the world of any demons that dared to harm the innocent and discover what went wrong for them to appear here in the real world. They belonged in the Underworld, a mission to send them back wasn't going to achieved on her own. She needed help.

And then suddenly, she sensed something different in Yakutsk. Faith felt the presence. It was much darker than any other demon she'd ever encountered before. As Faith stood there, she watched Leon appear in the distance muttering something about decent fighters. I'll give you decent fighter, all right, she thought, as Faith unveiled her dark crossbow and shot an arrow in his direction. He could have stopped it, but Faith wouldn't have cared if he would stop it, anyway. She needed a good fight and this demon just might have been the one to have met his match. And why the HELL are demons intent on using human language? Speak your own language, damn it! Then she turned to face Leon. "Hey, demon!" she shouted. "Get your ass here NOW!"

Leon smiled as he lent forward and watched the arrow sink into the ground. Hmm... This could be interesting... Leon though as he spotted the woman who fired the arrow.

"Hey, demon!" she shouted. "Get your ass here NOW!"

"Madam, I believe this area will be more fulfilling to our needs." Leon smiled as he sretched his arms out and indicated the area around him. He placed his hand on his blade hilt and smiled. "Hmm A Zildaanian... Psychic to if my senses are attuned." I hope this battle will last a while, Leon thought as he shielded his mind to stop the woman from foreseeing his moves.

Oh well... This guy's just a kid after all... Even if he's way older than me... Well... Anyways, I believe that I have better things to do than to continue to bother with Rene. Well, where should I head to... where should I head to... As Hydra thought about it, he was ambushed by a pair of demons... possibly drunk by the way they acted.

"Oi, ya'll stay right ther' and let 's kil ye, ye lil *hic* bu...gger" Said one of them.

"Aye aye, wi shal' *hic* kill 'im..." Answered the other. What a pair of idiots... Well, I shall end their miserable lifes now... Thought Hydra.

"Try me" said Hydra attempting to tease the pair of apparently drunk demons.

"Oh, shit he saw through our trick and won't lower his guard... we'll he's just a human after all... Let's get him, ok?" The demons now revealed their weapons: greatswords, which were probably carved from some magical component. Well, at least their slow, they probably won't even see me... heh...

"Well, your lives end here!" Hydra smiled before rushing towards the demons and slicing their arms, preventing them from using magic. "Yeah, you were gonna kill me? How, if you can't even turn to your magic? And much less your weapons. Well, Buh bye now..."

"Shi...!" managed to utter one of them before getting their throat sliced by Hydra's daggers. Now, now... where was I? Oh, right I was going to take a look to the part of the village which is now deserted... There's usually plenty of things.

As Hydra cruised into the village and scanned the remains he heard a thumping sound. Huh? Who's here... another 'treasure' hunter? Well, gotta see what's going on. As Hydra went in the direction of the sound, he saw a trail of blood. And this blood is still fresh... whoa... that means that the sound I heard was someone... falling? Well, gotta see for myself, and it won't be a trap, I'm pretty sure that demon grunts don't have the mind to use such traps... they just kill instantly...

Hydra followed the trail of blood and found a crimson haired woman lying in the snow. Whoa, this woman... Why does she look so familiar... was she one of the heroes of war? Was she one of the... damn, why didn't I bring one of those books with me, or at least... ugh... whatever... I shouldn't stay debating here and let this poor human die... Well, seems that it's my job to take care of the wounded... Hydra then proceeded by lifting the inert body and going back to the other part of the village, the one that was still inhabited.

Hydra was now in a small inn's room. He had used his curative powers to stop the bleeding, but he couldn't completely fix her wounds. He had laid her down on the bed to see how she recovered. Now it would depend solely on her own energy...

Zeria groaned and felt that her pain was lessened.
~What? I shouldn't be feeling less pain....unless I'm dead...am I dead?~
Another groan, and her viper yellow eyes fluttered open, blinking and trying to focus the blurry view of a ceiling.

"Where....am I?"

She forced herself to sit up and looked around, her gaze immediately falling upon a stranger sitting at the side of a bed...the bed she was in.

"Who are you?!"

She moved fast to reach for her weapons, but only ended up hurting herself and wincing, shrinking back down in pain. Zeria looked at the bloody bandages. She would have taken them off to check the wounds, clean them, then put fresh bandages on, but considering there was another man in the room, and she had no clue where she was, that was not a wise idea.
~This is not Edna's home......where has this man brought me....?~
She sat up more defiantly this time, ignoring the pain.

"Who are you, where am I, and why have you brought me here?"

"Whoa, calm down! You don't want to rip those wound open... yet again" replied Hydra with a calm voice.

"You don't have worry about anything. Now I'll answer your questions, but try to calm down and let the wounds heal. First of all, you're still in the same village in which you collapsed, only that this is where everyone is now. Second, I'm just a friend... which means that I'm on your side. So don't try anything stupid. You can call me Hydra if you will, and yes, I know that I'm half-demon, but if you still don't believe this, why would you still be alive, lying on a bed? Or, how bout this?" Before she could do anything, Hydra used his curative spell to slightly heal her wounds, preventing them from ripping again...

"I mean, would you expect me to say something like 'If I promise not to kill you, can I have a hug?', eh?" Joked Hydra before continuing.

"See? Now, try not to move too fast, and you shall be fine in no time." Hydra expected that she didn't try to kill him, but he wasn't completely sure of that, so he didn't lower his guard.

"Oh, and the third question... isn't obvious? Would you have preferred me to take to the sea... a volcano... or something?" Joked Hydra trying to see what would happen.

"Well, do you still think I'm a foe?"

"Don't madam me," Faith glared coldly in Leon's direction. "It makes me feel really old and trust me, I'm not an old granddad like you either." She could feel the demon attempting to shield his mind. I'll break through that barrier if I have to, but for now ... She extended her right arm and a burning fire emerged from her hand. When the fire went out automatically, a red blade now replaced it. The Crimson Blade was in Faith's grasp now, as she swung it around in one hand. "Zildaanian? Yes," she confirmed to him. "Psychic? Well, it's a bonus. I'm not like any other Zildaanian you may have met. I'm the last one in this time and the next generation of the race, too!" With that, she rushed forward to meet the clash between them.

Zeria growled at him, but calmed herself and sat away from him.

"Fine. I'll give you bare minimum trust for now...but...."

She turned, letting him see the burning danger in her eyes.

"You so much as pull a move to hurt me or touch me without my consent, and I will end you faster than you can draw your blade"

At that, she moved and lied down, facing away from him again.
~I'll have to go back to Edna's while he is resting. I do not want the old woman to worry~

"Fine... It seems that you still don't trust me... But... oh well, what can I do?" said Hydra as he stood up and stretched for a bit. Who's this woman? I'm pretty sure that she played some major role on the war... or did she not? Why didn't the history books mention her? Wasn't she worth mentioning? Was she to die right there where I found her? Did I change everything yet again? Ugh... Whatever... all that I've done since I came back was healing people... and finding that small treasure...

"Oh, don't worry I don't use a blade, and I don't even have my daggers here with me right now. See that table over there?" Said Hydra as he pointing to a table to the left of the woman. Not that they are out of reach though... yet I wouldn't need to use them against her, but should anything go wrong... such as a demon popping out of nowhere...

"Anyway, you can leave whenever you want, you're good to go, just try not to overwork yourself and tearing open those wounds...I believe you want some privacy, maybe to change those stained bandages you've got? Well, I'll be just be here, call me if you need anything, I got some clean bandages and left the in the bathroom." Realizing that she would most likely try to jump out of the window Hydra continued.

"If you don't want to see me, you can as well take your weapons before entering the bathroom, but please don't jump out the window. As soon as you land, your wounds would rip open and I'm sure none of us wants that to happen, Am I right? Well, do whatever you want..." Hydra lied down on the other bed of the room and closed his eyes, trying to focus his thoughts.

Zeria rolled her eyes and slid out of bed, grabbing her weapons.

"Like I'm stupid enough to jump out of a window with these injuries..."

She closed the bathroom door behind her and sat down, redoing all of her bandages, then making sure her equipment was strapped on tightly, and pushing the door back open.

"At any rate, I have one last favor of you...can you escort me back to where I am staying? I would not want to risk losing consciousness again"

"i cant believe the area is so big. ive been looking for hours and i still havent spotted him. i may aswell give up and go to the town nearby" Fayd shhok his legs slightly to wake them up and he jumped form his scouting position to the ground below. He straightened up and drew his katanas. He walked through the dense wooded forest surrounding the bases perimeter. He came to the other side and was greeted by the road that lead to the town. He followed it as a few cars passed him. He laughed to himself that if he hadnt left his motorbike in japan he would have fun on these long roads. He reached the outskirts of town when he suddenly smelled the scent of demons. unsure as to whether or not these were evil demons he decided to investigate. He headed in the direction of the strongest reading he could register. "I wonder, are there any decent fighters around? I have felt quite a few powerful presences in the area but have not seen them..." He heard a deep voice say as he approached the scent. He checked to see that his blades were still at the ready. "lets go" he said to himself as he stepped into the clearing within which the other demon was stood "you still looking for a fight? because im bored!"

"Sure, why not? I've got nothing else to do as of now..." Answered Hydra as he stood up and grabbed his daggers. I'm sure that this is what I've got to do for now... Maybe I'll know if she really had an important role in history? Well... At any rate that's the only option I've got... isn't it?

"Anyways, we're ready to go when you are... okay?" Hydra watched as Zeria rechecked her equipment. When Hydra though that they were ready, he continued.

"Well, I'll be right behind you" Letting out a small smile, Hydra continued. "Ladies First, besides I don't know the way, so you gotta lead." Hydra then waited for Zeria to reply, before continuing out the door or doing anything else. Well, a 'new' quest begins... maybe this time there'll be something nice...

"Right"

Zeria moved carefully, one hand gripping a gun strapped to her belt. She was still wary of this stranger, and didn't fully trust him. She never trusted anyone. Not anymore. She watched children be called home by their parents, and kept a tight watch for anything that might go wrong, until Edna's home came into view.

"It seems that we are here. I thank you for escorting me back.....Hydra, was it? You may call me Zeria. Zeria Iiyasei. I will repay my debt to you someday when I am not on a journey...."

~Unless perhaps this is part of my journey......but who am I to challenge my destiny?~
She sighed and knocked on the door softly. Edna was pleased to see Zeria back. The old woman had been worried.

"Madam Edna. If it is not too much, can we invite this guest to stay a while? He saved my life when I collapsed in the snow"
"Ah but of course, deary. Come in, young man, come in and warm up"

"Hmm... Interesting..." Leon said as grabbed the flaming blade with a single hand. He had to admit the blow was powerful but even so, to him it was unbelievably weak. "I pray that is not your strongest attack." As he said this he raised his hand, the one hiding the blade, high into the air and threw it.

"You still looking for a fight? Because im bored!" Someone shouted from Leons side.

"Ahh, two against one may be more... Challenging. Tell me traitor. What was your rank before you deserted. You are not familiar and therefore cannot have been a warlord or general..."

"Ohhh, it's not my strongest attack!" laughed Faith loudly. "It's a warmup routine, you know? But I suppose you're not human, so you won't understand what I mean when I say it." She flew away from him when the clash was not strong enough. He's still blocking his mind? He's the first demon to do so, but the resemblance with another demon I met is sure striking. And then Faith groaned when she heard someone shouting. She turned to Fayd. "Kid, please stay out of this," she warned her. "He's not your usual demon and I don't think he's here for the fun. He's here for the kill, so stay out of the way!"

"Oh no no madam, I'm afraid that he isn't a child." Leon told her, he could tell that she was still trying to get into his mind and strengthened the wall inside his mind to show her he could. "He is like my son, half-demon, half-human... I understand what you mean by warm-up routine. I ask of you one thing madam and one thing only. Fight me at your full power and I shall fight you at mine."

As he said this the air around him began to streak itself with blue lightning. He knew that this wasn't his true form, but he did not wish to kill this woman. The pure energy he would send out from the transformation would likely crush her into the ground. Instead he half-transformed meaning he would still be stronger than he was now but not at his true strength.

"Demon child, if you wish to fight me then I suggest that you too fight with your all." As he said this he finally drew his blade for the first time and smashed the edge against the ground sending a powerful and large blue wave of energy towards the woman.

"NOONE CALLS ME A TRAITOR!" Fayd shouted as he swiped his blades in anger. "I WAS NEVER ON YOUR SIDE!". Fayd spat in leons direction in indication of his disgust. "Before i was here or on my way to battle you i took care of a little 'family business' in the netherworlds." Fayd smiled slightly as he looked at the other two. "Your are both powerful demons. perhaps you knew my father. in life he was the liche-lord. in death, well he still stinks" Fayd laughed at his own joke for a few seconds as he readied himself to attack. a comment from the female put him off as he double-taked. "Child?" he asked but before he could finish the male demon finished for him, Fayd smiled as the demon was right but did they understand just how powerful he truly was. Did they even know the aincent teachings of duma-alduun? it was however a seldom used form of demon magicks. "Shall we Dance?" Fayd said as he clashed his blades together making sparks. The sparks did not dissappear instead increased in number until they became a form of aura. They appeared to enter his skin and he began to glow. Wings sprouted from his back and extended to a span of 8 hands. His eyes began to glow with a purple tint as fangs extended in his mouth. "Raising heavens wrath!" He said as he readied himself to attack. "Heavenly burst!" he shouted as he swung both katanas forward causing one beam to interrupt the blue beam from hitting the female, the other ained to the male

Fight at my full power? I haven't even achieved that level yet, thought Faith. The blue lightning appeared out of nowhere, but she had some form of future sight by her side, so she'd know when she'd be struck down by this lightning. However, Faith could sense Leon was holding back because he didn't want to kill her yet. A blue wave was coming her way, so she prepared to defend herself.

"I'm no demon," she said coldly to Fayd. "I'm a species that not many have heard of, however, I do retain a human side to my existence." But before she could raise her telepathic barriers, Fayd had saved her from getting hit. "I can take care of myself, but thank you. I suppose the saying of 'looks can be deceiving' applies to you." She turned to Leon. "As for my full power, well ... I haven't achieved that level yet, so do you really want to kill me yet or not?"
