well i am filo but i went to school in Aus since i came here when i was 4... maybe Filipinos were meant to be cursive... i did write cursive during primary school

I only write in print for notes and such. When, and IF I'm writing up an official document of sorts that can't be done on the computer, I'll get all cursive on my pen's ass. So although I use both frequently, I much prefer cursive.

Can't love what you can't do. ;D

cursive =joined up writing? All the time pretty much, in fact, nearly everyday! It comes along naturally for me.

Heh, this thread kinda gives me an idea. "Show off your writing!" xD

Anyway, I prefer print. During 4th and 5th grade though, there was a time when I wrote in cursive almost throughout those two years. I guess the fact that teachers required us to write in cursive...? So it kinda grew on me.

But as I grew older, I gradually switched back to print. I studied all my four aunts' writings (love letters, to be specific lol) and they all have neat tiny writings! (I think I was around 13) One of them wrote in all caps, which I also perfected. 3 of them had similar writings, but they were still different. Anyway, I remember I spent the day copying their writings, from loops to loops. In the end, I noticed that I formed my OWN style of writing, but is also similar to all four of their writings. Similar but different. Cursive, print, or all caps, it doesn't matter - I can always change my writing easily.

And I can forge signatures too. xD Of course, nothing illegal or bad...just one of those parents signatures being required in school. =)

I don't like to write in cursive, because usually expecially in my notes and such for school I write really kind of small, and it's really hard to write cursive, and even read it in tiny handwriting

Looks like I already voted. ^.^
I love to write in cursive. Matter o' fact, my cursive is quite beautiful. ^.^

I have extraordinarily perfect handwriting, be it print OR cursive.

My handwriting can never decide whether it wants to be print or cursive, so I end up with a kind of disconnected cursive. I print b's and z's, and some other letters, but the majority of my letters are cursive.

It's pretty unique. I don't know anyone else who writes the way I do.

i perfer print since i cant cusive very well (not that i cant i just suck at it) .... what am i saying a can hardly read my print aswell lol...

I'm not fussed either way, It's quicker to write in cursive for me especially with work when I'm writing notes, problem is because I'm writing fast it's never really neat and I can't always understand my writing......I think when I'm trying to write neatly then it's possibly a combination of both, leaning more towards cursive....altho it's neat(ish) my handwriting has always been pretty hard to understand because I write the letters too close together lol

I voted cursive though I only half do it, the rest is plainly print.

Print, it's easier to read and I'm too lazy to write in cursive. What bothers me about reading in cursive is that some people's cursive hand writing is hard to read. My aunt for example, she writes in cursive but all I see is long scribbled lines.

I definitely prefer printing. My skills with cursive are somewhat...lacking. In fact, I only use cursive for signing my name after using my check card.
