Im very tempted to purchase the pack which includes all 3 games. My friends have played them and both love them and hate them. They enjoy the humor of the games and say when the 2 lead characters are amazing (the Pricne and the voice in his head?) and its like Vegeta being inside Goku's head. Lol, thats the way they see it.

However what they hate is when the Prince refuses to jump across ledges sometimes. They say it can be annoying, but nonetheless, they adore this game. Ive seen it for £11.99 online, which is a barigin and I was wondering what other people thought of the series.

I had fun with it, the old ones and the new ones. Although the new ones take maneuvers to newer heights as you can do more with it. Although with the ledge jumping, I wasn't frustrated with it, having gotten used to the older ones, but it amazes me at how he can jump so far...

Well where to start really...they're freakin' awesome games, I like the second one the best, Warrior Within, but that's just me. I suggest you start with Sands of Time first though because if you don't the story can be pretty confusing, trust me. The second one is really good because it has a real gothic feel to it with heavy metal music and dark environments combined with fast paced action you can't go wrong really ^_^

Im very, very tempted to buy it as thats a barigin including p&p. I need some relief for when Ive got my essays completed. I may purchase it as a gift to myself when Ive completed them!

I would recommend the triple pack, SoT is one of my favorite games of recent times. Warrior Within I never really liked that much, hated the darker feel they gave it although the revamped fighting system was pretty cool, Two Thrones is sort of a merge between the two.

I'd definitely say yes, even though I haven't played SoT
WW is probably the better of the two that I've played. I much preferred the setting in it, and the story was a little more gripping. The triple pack is very cheap now too (about £20/£30 I think?)

I borrowed the Sands of Time from Aztec a longgg time back and started off ok with the game. However, it just didn't appeal to me too much after an hour or so, so I gave up and gave it back. Haven't touched another one of them since.

Well although it is an amazing series...I hate Ubisoft...because they did a sly one on me and I only found TODAY there is a new 'Prince of Persia' game coming out for the PS3/36/PC this year :gasp:

The new game will have a new protagonist called the 'Prince' and also a has a cohort called Elika that can help you perform attacks (I think).

Anyway..here is the PREVIEW which you can access the videos and images through.

The trailer does look awesome if I do say so myself, and if this goes as well as the POP games then it should be a great game :neomon:

Overrated series, in my opinion. Solid games, but not worthy of all the praise they get. The fighting mechanics are cool, but I can't STAND all the random ledge jumping and whatnot. I can't count the amount of times I battled through dozens of enemies just to die from a 20-foot drop after missing a platform or something...

xD bad luck for you and you can always use recall if you missed a platform and you already jumped.
I wonder if the new prince game is going to be awesome or not I have a bad feeling about this Elika. D:

You're right in thinking you can perform special attacks with her.

Unfortunately there is no time manipulation in this game. If you miss a high ledge you can fumble your way down safely though, apparently.

My brother just bought an Xbox 360 magazine earlier this evening and it had an article about the new game. I think the new visual style is really appealing, it looks bright and colourful indeed.

Apparently the levels are set out in a "node" style. Each area is set out as a large circle with walkways, tunnels, ledges and other means to to other areas. Theres some kind of seal that you have to break in each area to "purify" it, obviously this means to rid the area of darkness and stop the badies from appearing.

I'll have another read of the article tomorrow and see if I can post up some more details for you all.

Which would you say is the best and worst of these? I played 1 for a fair while and didn't feel it was as spectacular as I'd hoped; I was drawn to the game after seeing the tralier for PoP2. I have the 3rd on my PSP but haven't had time to play it yet, and am thinking of getting 2 tomorrow. (It's £4!! ^_^)

And I hope they bring the new one out on the Wii too!

I think PoP2 is the best, I liked the graphics and I really like to wield two swords not a dagger and a sword also I find the Dahaka "Guardian of Time" quite an amusement >.>

I actually played POP2 first and when my brother bought POP1 it's was really stupid in my opinion, so if anyone didn't play anything from this series I think they have to start with POP1.

And about POP3 It wasn't the best but it's awesome I liked the stealth mode but I didn't like the idea of sticking with one weapon and I actually liked the sense humor in this game and the racing idea...

What I say in...This game is one of the best games ever!

I bought Warior Within first aswell, love that game, but then when I got SoT it felt weird, so would definately recommend playing SoT first.

Warior Within is awesome, loved the Dahaka chases. :D
