it finally happened... A MAIN GAME IN 3D!!!!!!

It is released in Aus, America, and Europe in October this year.

The new Starters and legendaries look cool, I love the Fire starter....though i am not too keen on these new graphics I am so used to the top down graphics

So they finally decide to revamp the graphics. Yet it still looks like something a DS game can easily manage. Dragon Quest IX looked better than this. And now we have a France region. And I don't know what I think of that legendary deer-thingy. Amazing or atrocious. My mind hasn't been made up yet.

Yaaaaaaaaay. My excitement for this is boundless. I will buy two copies of each.

EDIT: Oh I get it. The deer = X and that other flying thing = Y. Nintendo be praised for such a clever idea.

This doesn't sound like that rainbow game from yesterday! Now I'm depressed. I actually thought it had the potential to be something worth buying. But I guess not now. Oh well. What's up with the X and Y? I thought they were doing colors and various other things like pearls? Anyway I'm sure it'll still be a good game. I just kinda got excited for the possiblity of the other one.

the XY could mean 2 thing A XY for DNA, or 2 X Y and Z are infact the three axis's for 3D Space.... cleaver naming from nintendo there

Yeah, I know it said rumor. It still could have been possible though. Oh well. Wow, that's... cool. I never would have got that out of X and Y, but then again, I'm pretty slow with some stuff. It takes me a good ten minutes sometimes before I finally understand a joke someone told me. Indeed it is clever. Props to Nintendo. I hope you enjoy the game though! Should be cool!

Ooooh. I was wrong on the rumor thread... But this makes sense.

I think the graphics are looking great, and the Starters look pretty interesting(I personally like the froggy).

But, the Y legendary looks like a cross between Moltres and Giritina imo...

And I'm not sure about the dear either...

Also, is the character sprite used the same as the fifth gen?? I can't tell if it is or not.

The sad thing though... I don't have a 3DS. I probably won't be getting one... I'm somewhat miffed tbh. :/

The fire starter sorta looks like a Vulpix, so that's my choice this time around. For the first time ever, I'm gonna be starting with a fire type .

I didn't think they were using a sprite this time around judging by what I saw in the video, it looked like it was all proper 3D graphics Maybe i missed something?
I am curious how they're going to have you find pokemon? Unless they just have you running through 3D grass and the screen just shakes when you find something like in the others.

Okay, I get it: I'll rephrase it. Is the character model the same?? I think it looks the same...

Then again, it could be a placeholder.


They could be just on the screen or something? Like Pikachu following you around in Yellow?

The deer reminds me of the forest spirit from Princess Mononoke with its huge tree-branching antlers. The Y-shaped flying thing looks like a molten piece of construction paper.

This game looks amazing ! And the new Fox Pokemon looks so adorable !
