Pokémon: Ashes of Dreams [OOC]

Mmkay, next post I make, you'll be getting your dexes, and then you're free to go off in your groups - the data for the first two/three routes will be up soon, plus a couple of locations.

What I may do is just give you the terrain and level range, a few basic Pokemon, and then open it for discussion as to what you'd like to see on routes, so you can build your teams up more to your liking. Obviously there will be restrictions and whatnot, but I don't see it being a problem if people use their common sense~
 
Updated the Elite Four profile. Let me know if that new Pokemon is acceptable. I didn't see it on the Rare/Forbidden list, but if you don't want me using it then that's cool. :mokken:

I just had an idea to get some of the other trainers involved with Team Sol. Seeing as how they're after the masterball, could maybe Cameron or someone in her group be given/find the master ball (WAAAY LATER) so team sol have to track them down?

I was thinking maybe whoever has the ball at the moment (be it a professor or something), panics because they're constantly being chased by Sol, so they either drop the ball somewhere and my group finds it or he shoves it in their hands, tells them to look after it and runs off?

Anyway, just an idea :) Otherwise I can't really think of how else my character is going to get in on the bigger story... unless we work it out to do with the 3 dogs or something :)

im ok to stay or to move on, i set up a battle with shinya at some point soon as a beginner battle, it could take place right after the professor's battle then we could move on, if the rest of my group disagrees and wants to leave then im sure i could set up a meeting with shinyas character later on :)

Nida is a powerful trainer in his own right, and will probably start doing some research into the legends once he leaves Rose. He now has free time from gym duties and teaching his little bro, so he'll be looking into them.

Which means he may encounter Team Sol... though if he does, he probably won't tell of it unless he loses really badly.

Orion, meanwhile, will just try to help people where he can. And if he has a bad encounter with Team Sol... eh.

Robert, we should totally try our hardest to beat Rose!
 
Hey guys, sorry to just kinda unceremoniously pop in but I'd love to be apart of this at some point. Is there a general time frame where applications will be open again?
 
Silver Shadow, if you wanted to have Nida encounter Team Sol, he could come with Rose to Mistheld Loch after her battle if you liked. Tobias will be there, and after Kyurem has gone, you could challenge him to a battle if you were of a mind to...although his Hydreigon would decimate you. xD

Still, that could be what prompted you to research into these things? Nida would see the connection between him and Team Sol, although Rose will refuse to, since she has suspicions about Tobias' true identity. They'd go their separate ways after that - Rose would go to see Thoma (or another of the Gym Leaders, if anyone wanted company and character development) and you could go off to wherever you were of a mind to. xD

That'd be Noctis' call, since his Commander is the one who will be acquiring the Master Ball. I think it sounds like a pretty good idea, though. I mean, the starter trainers will be blockaded by Team Sol before/after they get their third Gym Badge, but the only higher-level trainers I want there during that event are Thoma and Rose.

I may start taking apps again after everyone has their first Gym Badge. You could be a trainer with a single Gym Badge and a couple of Pokemon at around level 13.
 
If you want that Gym Leader that Rose could possibly go see, I wouldn't mind her seeing Tryllia. That would be a way to introduce her into the RP, and she could get involved with the whole ordeal after that...since she will be my main.

Alright, I'll send her over after the Mistheld Loch incident. Seeing Tryllia before Thoma will give everyone time to get at least their first badge under their belt, as well. The two could do a little exploring in the nearby area...I'll have a mini brainstorm. xD
 
Does Rose need any help with her current battle? I could send over Grover and have him drop from the sky with his Butterfree. :awesome:

Of course, he'd have to artificially get into the sky, since...Butterfree can't fly. -__-
 
The way my character gets introduced he's walked into Channys character so i have to wait for her to post so i can continue on the RP, otherwise i'll have to edit my own posts and continue on my own.... which is what you not want to have happen :sad3:
 
There seems to be a Pokemon missing from the rare list now that I have Black and reread the list over: Victini.

I'm not going to name names (you know who you are) but some people's grammar in posts has been absolutely terrible. PLEASE, use a decent level of grammar in your posts. Don't make them so half-arsed. Other participants are putting the time and effort into their posts to make sure they're of a decent standard, the least you can do is the same. If this keeps up, I WILL start pestering offenders privately, and I'd really rather not do that, because I think we had enough unnecessary drama in this thread earlier, don't you?

This isn't something that is open for discussion, so do NOT quote me and reply. Decent grammar is NOT optional. Everyone needs to be able to read and understand your posts, and I'm not the only person who has felt like ripping their hair out.

Anyways. I'm going to a little scarce over the next couple of weeks, since I've got this wonderful mad rush to get my dissertation done. I will keep an eye on things and update as and where I can, though. I just won't have time to type out huge posts every day for a little bit. Nothing to worry about~

Anyone stuck for ideas developing their characters, or have an idea for the main plot? I've left the whole thign with Commanders catching (or failing to catch) their respective Legendary Dogs, so there is plenty of room for imagination there.
 
Just thought i should mention, I can't progress untill Hime battles me...well i can progress but we kind of agreed over MSN to battle when we got our starters...
