Pickup lines

Well, this last weekend i was at a party and well, let's just say guys aren't very good at pickup lines XD.
It was just some random guy he comes up to me and it was a weird silence and he pokes me and does the sizzling sound effect and goes
'Your so hot your sizzling' like wtf? i told him 'I never knew i sizzled i got to try it some time' then he was like 'It was a lame pickup line wasn't it?' I just look at him weird and he goes 'damnit! i can never get any hot chicks these days'
it was just so hilarous XD.
I think there was another really lame pickup line and he said 'You must be the sun because your hot' Its like okay... i never thought of it that way
Anywho, i'm sure there was more really lame pickup lines.. but i don't want to ramble forever XD.

Hmm, I know I've had a few guys say some dumb pick-up lines, but I can't remember them now. =/ It'll probably come to me later on.

...Although, this isn't really a pick-up line, but it was kinda close to one. I was working as a cashier a few years ago and this black man comes up to me and say, "Excuse me, I hope you're not offended by this question, but do you go for interracial relationships?"

I decided to be a smartass and replied with, "Actually yes, I do. I'm married and my husband happens to be white."

He looked surprised for some reason and apologized again, by saying, "I'm sorry, I just couldn't help asking a pretty face, you know?"

I think that was my last pick-up line experience from someone. xD

Only bad pick up line I remember is from the guy Im with now - we were out with the same group and both went to the loo at the same time, he waited for me to come out and said something along the lines that I had to give him a case becasue he was worried about the fact we were in a gay bar and didnt want a man coming onto him

I called him an idiot, and turned away as he went in for a kiss so he got my cheek xD

I thought it was hilarious

Nah, I don't really use pick up lines honestly. As much as people talk about cheesy pick up lines, I don't think I've ever heard one that wasn't. They all are... so I don't use them. If I'm interested in a girl, I'll try striking up a conversation. Hi, how are you, what's your name... that kind of thing but nothing ever "Your pants look great but they'd look better on my floor" crap. Not my thing. I do ask bra size early frequently though if that counts... I actually know quite a few on FFF as well >.>

I dont use them either,theyr so lame arnt they, id feel like a complete arse going up and saying one. As aztec said its better to start up a conversation, compliments work really well. In fact i dont know anyone whos actually ever used a chat up line in seriousness, as daft as my mates and i can be we do have some common sense

Yeah, i agree with both of you guys (AT and LD) that starting a conversation is a lot more efficient then pickup lines if your trying to get some XD Imo, i think guys who use pick up lines is desperate O_O
and Aztec, i don't think asking for a bra size is a pickup line your just basically saying that your a boob man XD lmao. ​

I've never really done the chat up line thing. Reading through some of the ones on here, I actually think that some of them are quite good, in a cheesy and awful way. But then again, all chat lines suck really.
But meh, I'd just feel like an arse saying them, especially as I'd probably mumble and sound off, and I don't know what possesses people that do.

Well my last boyfriend before my current one was really into pick up lines and before we started going out he would text me about a million of them o_0

One of the first ones I remembered which was actually quite sweet was:

"Did it hurt?"

I text back very confused, "Did what hurt?"

"When you fell from heaven."

I was like "aww how sweet." If only I had of known what an a-hole he was before that.

Oh and a good friend used to always say cheesy lines to me.

E.g:

"Are you a parking ticket?"

"Um, no?"

"Cause u got 'fine' written all over ya."

Haha! It made me laugh because it was funny at how lame it was.

I don't really like pick-up lines. I've never used one and I really don't like them when people use them on me. =/

I nab the ones of the internet and out of songs like that "You're so hot that I melted" from Jason Mraz's I'm Yours. I generally don't use them for affect though, I do it because it makes her laugh even though she takes the piss she loves them really.

The one about you falling from haven was sweet (sort of) xD yeah most the guys I've dated we broke up cause they were a-holes p: the parking lot one I've heard too XD. It's pretty stupid. Its like um O_O if you say so XD usually i bust out laughing at lame pickup lines too. Me either i think that if they want to try to get you they need to try and get to know you before, and most the time it doesn't work anyways.
