First one- love the b&w action going there, smudging is pwn.
Second one- i love the effects, but i dont think the colors match, sorry :/, but other than that its good
I'm, working on this as a LP, and that's what I've got so far. I have no idea what to do with it next. It's kinda daunting working with a larger canvas, I must admit. But I don't wanna rush it and do something half-assed, especially since there's more room for error in LPs ><

It needs blending, especially around the head. Create a light source up there aswell. You can see that the render is well lit so u need to put a light source up there to make it look like theres light hitting her otherwise it doesnt fit.

I've made like nothing lately, so I was totally bored, and had a tinker around with photoshop today, and came up with these two things -
I'm not too fond of this one I'll admit. It's more greyish than black and white. I think that this was your entry for the black and white theme wasn't it?
Anyway, I think that black and white would have had a better contrast between the two and made the signature stand out more.
The blending is done rather well and I quite like the lighting on the right hand side.
Not too fond of the border in this one and the text is a tad hard to make out. Not one of your best but still good.

I love the image use and the vibrant colours within it! The soft lighting surrounding it is well done and creates a good focal point among the black background.
The font is cute and the text is situated well.
Love those light beams shooting up on his right side too!
This one is very hot I must say.
I love what you've done with the background with those streaks of lines and random circles.
The render needs to be blended more though, especially around her hair, as it does look a bit edgy.
Gorgeous colours throughout and I love the tinges of gold on her body. =D
Lovely lighting down the bottom left hand corner and I reckon a nice two or three pixel white border would finish it off rather nicely. =)

I simply love the background!
The streaks of lines make the background more alive and colourful! The balls of light in her hand and surrounding her body are absolutely gorgeous and the blending is very well done.
Lovely lighting and the text is spot on! Wonderfully positioned and the font really fits, as does that little 'X' situated next to the text. Adds character. =)

I love the colours, and the lighting of it all makes the colours more vibrant and brilliant!
The blending is immaculate! I love the soft colours fading in and out of the darkness too! It looks awesome! Wonderful effects added and the text is yet again well done.
I absolutley love that love heart you've placed behind the text too!

Best one in my opinion I must say, the smudging is perfect and I like the variety of colors in the middle, I think the text could look better but it's very good as it is, you did a great job there, Mark. Keep it up. ^^
I didn't really like the Black and White sig I made of Beatrix, however, I looove the image, so, as I'm replaying FFIX atm, I thought I'd try to make something else. xD

Colours look so much better! I love the shine of pink on her hair and the smudgy background.
The streaks of light around her look fantastic and the blending is beautifully done once again.
I love the text and the love heart behind it. It looks so gorgoeous!
The only thing I would suggest is to make the border a tad more bold. It's a bit hard to make out with that deep purple.
Wow this is the best one iv seen you make in a long long time, i love it.
The colours are so bright, yet soft, great work utilizing the gaussian blur. The C4d is placed great and is blended in superbly aswell, although i think u should erase a few of the bits to her right.
Nice text and the wee heart behind it looks great. Good use of lighting around her aswell. Nice one.
Experimenting with the style I used in the Beatrix signature -
WTF is with his facial expression? xD Cute, the text is a little small and the rest of the sig could use some more effects though.
I like this one actually, the effects seem to flow really well with her pose, but maybe some burst as if she was shouting through the sig, y'know?
I don't mind this, except she looks far too grainy to fit the rest of the sig - you need to broaden your horizons and use different techniques/text. This one uses more than the others though, I like that.

I spot pixelly outlining around those glowy bits. She looks a little out of place, I know this is a WIP - you should/have left that bit near her head for text. More lighting and general effects used on her would've been good IMO.
This one is different to the others - I think it's nice. That mist around her bothers me, but I love it o_o; Lower the opacity perhaps. The text is wonderful, so is the Movie Prime effect used on her hand

I don't like it, she looks too crowded in. If you put someone else over that - using the bg it has sans Stevie would've been nice - a more futuristic character.

IMO you need to break away from this "render - black background - effects come out behind render" thing, along with your text. It makes beautiful sigs, but you need to be a biit more experimental - take a session off to explore some new styles.
I'm taking your advice Brit, and trying some new shizz. I set off with a white background and an Ugly Betty stock, and came up with this >_>

The splats of colour surrounding Stevie look terrific and even better looking than the first in my opinion.
I like that this sig is a lot lighter in the background. It really looks great. =)
Once again, I'm not too fond of the black border. It's just my opinion, but I don't think black borders looks that great unless the middle part is a lot lighter in colour.

I love the style you've gone with here. The effects around her are subtle but effective and the texture of the background is gorgeous!
The colours mesh so well together, though I think that the lady needs to be blended in a tad more, as I can see the outline of red around hair kinda sticking out.
The font choice is absolutely gorgeous and I love the texture of it too!

I like the effects you've used in this one, but I feel as though the effects on the left are a tad too dull. I think the colour choice was a tad off where the yellow is.
The blending is done well in this one but I feel that the colours within the effects could have been a tad brighter in order for the focal point to work better. =)
I love the older feel of this one. The effects blended in around Stevie look fantastic and the soft feel of it all works well. =)
The lighting is done very well and the text looks great once again. I like those little lines you have floating around the text too. Is it part of that particular font?
I can see a strange bit of lighting on Stevie's neck that looks a bit out of place. I'm not sure if it's part of the image or part of an effect not blended in properly.

Very dark and mysterious and the lighting is great!
The blending is superb and the colour choice very well chosen.
I love the smokey texture down the bottom of the signature and the two glowing orbs up around the character. Very nicely done.
The text is placed very well and the font is good, but I feel it needs to be less strict if that makes sense. Maybe a more relaxed, cursive font. =)

I would suggest making the effects a tad more vibrant in order to be noticed and I can see those little 'x's' down below the text, but only just. I would suggest you make them brighter and the text could do with a bit more of light too. Just so that it doesn't get lost down the bottom. =)
I love how the red lips stand out from the rest of the signature! It's simply gorgeous!
Perhaps if you did the same kind of effect on her eyes it would make the focal point stronger!?

oooh... Lovely wallpaper and Aerith siggie I like the Stevie Nicks siggie as well, but it seems a little blank... Maybe put a little more c4ds on the sides, or a little brushwork mayhaps. other than that its a lovely siggie
