So i was wondering...

Quistis as a little crush on Squall in the early part of the game and she admits it to him during the SeeD party at Balamb Garden after being demoted from her instructor position.

My question is do you think Quistis character represents all those sex scandals between teachers and students even though nothing really happened between her and Squall?

Because let´s face it Quistis is 18 while Squall is 17 which (at least in my country) makes him a minor!:O

Taking that under consideration Quistis should not only be fired but get banned from Balamb Garden for trying to make out with students.:dry:

What do you guys think?
 
No she didn't... But I wish she would have. Then there'd be a sex scene for FFVIII. xD

Also, sex is legal here in the U.S. once you're 16, ftw. Quistis is in our court, Jimmy babe.
 
yep thats all legal

apart from the whole teacher/student part crushes are okay as long as they dont go further than that

Umm no quistis wouldn't get banned from Balamb for having a crush on Squall, she'd inly get like told off if she acted on those feelings - that is if she was still a Teacher, if she wasn't it would have been fine.

Sex is also legal in the UK when your 16 so it would have been fine for Quistis and Squall to do the nasty...provided she wasn't a teacher still
 
if she had stronger feelings for squall she could have made out with him or whatever when she was demoted to SEED like squall
 
She mentioned she thought she had feelings for Squall during Disk 2, but followed that up by saying it must've been her subconscious acting on it.

I thought she had a little thing for him early on, but this cleared it up for me. She seems to be sensible enough not to act on false feelings.
 
And, let's face it, who wouldn't like Squall? :D

Hehe, well, back to the main discussion, she does say she realises those feelings weren't love in the way we think it.

Anyway, even if she did love Squall, one year is hardly something to comdemn her for. :P I mean, sure, if she acted on it it would be wrong (in the eyes of the law, though, c'mon, one year. People can have 20+ year gaps so long as they're not teacher/student). It's not like one can help their feelings. :P
 
Quistis' love for Squall I think, passed more as the sibling kind of love, as she doesn't show much of the kind of love that....Rinoa would have or something.
 
Knowing FFVIII, Quistis was probably Squall's sister. Orphans ftw. Yea, from there, she had love. Sexual love. Yes, incest.

No, seriously, this is just....er....pathetic? XD.

I have to agree with Warbourne, though.
 
When people are young their feelings are all messed up -- thank your hormones. I do believe that she says it was just her sisterly feelings from when they were younger in the orphanage.

I know in a lot of countries 16+ is legal but who says that the game would be going by that law? For all we know it could be 18. The reason I think this is due to a conversation between Relm and Edgar in FFVI.

Relm: What's wrong, lover-boy?
Edgar: ...How old are you?
Relm: Ten... Why?
Relm: Weirdo. I'm going on ahead, okay?
Edgar: Not even a lady yet... Here's hoping you're still around in eight years, kid.

That would suggest that the legal age would be 18 but then again, Final Fantasy is always in somewhere new so this may not correspond to FFVIII.

Yeah the crush is quite obvious in the early part of the game but with squalls cool attitude you could never tell what he was really thinking so i cant say the feeling was mutual.....i think he just looked up to her as a big sister kind of thing though :dry:
