Since Tumblr I think.

Before Tumblr there were fewer people posting gifs. Then one day Tumblr came and them people posted gifs from Tumblr, and people also posted their Tumblr pages which were full of gifs.

I don't even know what Tumblr is, but I think that is what has happened.

4Chan and the internet in general is probably also to blame.
 
It started about the same time the Internet caused people's attention spans to shorten to the si-SQUIRREL.

In the next Thor I want Hercules to make an appearance.

Then I could post a gif of Hercules here.
 
He isn't Norse mythology, but he does meet Thor in the comics.

In fact he briefly becomes 'Thor'.
 
:hmmm: didn't know that. Well, then there's always a possibility. I think I'll always favor Loki though. :lew:
 
And to add, since i didn't see a couple of posts, I know Tom Hiddleston's back, so i couldn't care less about any other character. :lew: and i guessed that this Chris guy was gonna be a villian, he just kinda has the look.

I just followed that up to see who it was and he is Malekith, ruler of the Dark Elves.

This should be great.

As for Hercules, I doubt they'd work him into the film's plot this time around. At most he may have a cameo. It depends upon whether they want to reveal that other mythological dimensions co-exist, and perhaps use Hercules as an example. But they probably won't make room for that in this as they are going to be busy enough introducing the Nordic dimensions.
