FFXIII-2 Noel, Yeul and Caius

Caius Loved Yeul. Thats why he wanted to stop Noel & Sarah from changing time so he could b with her forever. I dont think Noel loved her, but he did want to save her because she was the last person along with him left alive in their time. so i think they're more of Just really good friends. If anything it seemed like Noel loved Sarah. But wouldnt admit it cuz of Snow

I personally believe that Caius loved Yeul too. :hmmm: I'm not 100% about the nature of his love - did he regard her as a daughter, a younger sister, a beloved friend? I don't think he regarded her as a romantic partner...that would have been a little creepy. :hmmm: Either way, she was his companion for years and protecting her was his soul purpose in life. He lived for her.

I think Yeul herself loved Caius and Noel. She believed they were good people and appreciated the sacrifices they had made to take care of her. Having someone care for her so much made her simultaneously happy and sad - she was glad to be loved, but hated inflicting pain on others as she died again and again.

Noel loved Yeul but I don't believe he loved her romantically. She was one of the only people left on earth with him. He regarded her more like a young sister. If Noel loved anyone, he loved Serah... and I really hope he did because Snow is just... :wacky:
 
I really hope you dont mean like intimately

because that just makes noel and caius look like two uncivilized cavemen

i mean, i guess not noel so much. but caius is clearly a peter puffer and like a million years old :monster:

i guess yeul is even older though since caius' predecessor was watching over yeul before he killed him... but it's just weird thinking about it :elmo: i would convict caius of pedophilia anyway just because he's bitchmade :gmonster:
 
I think Caius felt more like an older brother or father figure for Yeul. He was more of a guardian than a "knight in shining armor," similar to Kimari and Auron's relationship with Yuna in FFX. Also, I'm kind of a Noel x Serah fan, so I always imagined that Noel romantically liked Serah more so than Yeul, who is more like a close younger sister to him. :3 (&& I also dislike Snow, so... xD)
 
Cauis portrays his feelings towards Yeul in a way that shows he is more leaning towards a older brother/ father figure (As someone stated above). He done all that he could to help save her but it as never good enough. Noel is similar he definitely is an older brother role towards Yeul and he shows it more than Caius especially in the final scenes of the game.
 
Of course Caius loves Yeul. He wouldn't want to do what he was trying to do just to end her suffering if he didn't. And of course Yeul loves Caius... HE was the only reason she wanted to be reborn over and over again, he was worth enduring all the suffering.

Of course they love each other.

And about their age, no, He's not some pedo-bear. :wacky: There's no details on either of their ages. :lew:
 
Yuel is stated to die when she turns 15. Caius is immortal. Thus being years older than Yuel.

but anyway, no. I think Caius thinks of her as a daughter. All his actions look more like a father who couldn't help his daughter when she has a few weeks to live. I think the Father/Daughter relationship makes the entire Yuel/Caius/Noel drama so much more real.

Yuel as the doomed Cancer Patient. Caius as the father who can't do a thing. Noel as the Teen who blames Caius for her death.
 
I guess we'll know when the novella is published and translated. :wacky:
 
HAHAHA! I'm a Noel x Serah too. I wish that they ended up together. I think the developers of the game wanted that to happen, but then they were like, "What about Snow?... "Oh... yeah... Forgot". If they had just jazzed up the timeline a bit, to make it that Snow never existed. It would have been awesome.
