Ok, Big Boss, the site owner and one of the administrators has decided to do some changes to the FFF. He was thinking of getting a new forum skin for the FFF but, due to our current server problems and the addition of the Chat Rooms that eat a lot of bandwidth, he was thought of getting a new server instead.

Since each and every single opinion of our members count for taking important decisions to decide what's best for the FFF, here we will add a poll.

The options are:

A) New Skin
B) New Server
 
New Server.

I know a new skin would be groovy and all but i quite like the current one, and the need for a new server is far greater.
 
The fact that my vote to this poll took 12 seconds to process should speak volumes.
Earlier, it took 38 seconds to load a page in the AdminCP.

New server definitely. The chatroom is a nice function to get to know other members and some of the members and it is annoying have to wait like 5 minutes hitting the refresh button even though it will probably happen again 2 or 3 minutes later. Also, I quite like this skin so new server for me.
 
New Server and I'll explain why.

The FFF already had a shoutbox which caused several problems with the server. It was removed and agreed to get a chat room instead. The Chat Rooms worked well until a few days later.

The amount of bandwithc that the server consumes is technically killing the server which causes this problem. As a result, forum activity will be affected and we will have yet another problem.

So here what it is...
New Server: FFF keeps Chat Rooms though no new skin for now.
New Skin: FFF must get rid of Chat Rooms or else the problem will continue.

So since like Aztec said, this shoouldn't even be a poll, I say new Server.

You know, I just thought something. How about both? Surely getting a new server can't take long at all? Whereas a new skin would take around a month (assuming it's started from scratch). So why doesn't someone go off and begin work on a skin, while the server is upgraded?
You kill two birds with, well two stones, but still :monster:.
 
We can't get both due to the fact that Darkblade doesn't shit money.
 
Guys...new skin. Think about it...we can get the same old 'The server is currently busy" screen...but have it BLUE!!! or RED!!!! or GREEN!!!

That would be so much tighter than a properly functioning forum.
