Same here; that was a baddd game. I blame the Chargers D more than anything; Randy Moss has his way with the Defensive backs all game long. Brady simply found short routes which just built up yards and moved them down field.
San Diego will be back, but New England is a good team. I don't like New England at all, in fact I hate them, but this was San Diego's hardest game of the year already.
Tonight's NFC East match-up will hopefully be a good game to the finish. I'm not a fan of either the Skins or the Eagles, but I'm pulling for the Skins to end up on top. I do like Jevon Kearse however for the Eagles. Ex-Titan, baby! The Freak!
Last night's game between the 'Skins and Eagles wasn't too bad. Campbell looked good like he did back in his college days again.
McNabb wasn't horrible, he just wasn't, "his old-self". I mean he's had great receivers over the years, even those who had bad attitude and off-the-field problems, so this years he's gotta create and succeed with what he's got.
Chargers vs. Green Bay this week. You know I'm pulling for my team the Bolts! What do you guys think? Green Bay make it a game at 2-0, or do you think this will be a reality check for Favre's team?
McNabb still isn't a hundred percent, we can't forget that part. But really, I thought he'd be back this season as a quarterback powerhouse. I really expected the Eagles to win because of the fact that they have their star quarterback but apparently it's not gonna be that good this year.
As for Bolts vs. Packers, I still gotta support my team, man. xD
They'll bounce back --- by bounce back I mean they're gonna demolish the Packers this weekend. They'll make some adjustments, study hours of film, and basically not be caught unawares versus the 'Cheese'.
Who else was totally holding their breath during that second to last play in the Denver-Pittsburgh game? the incomplete pass-turned completepassnofumble one lol at that point i was really nervous, because the game really did hinge on that call. If the refs had called it in Pittsburgh's favor, they probably would have won. what really sucked for me though is that the upstairs TV has a little of a delay, and my dad was watching it in the basement, so when Jason Elam kicked the game winning field goal on his he started cheering and stuff and for me they hadnt started the play yet lol
The Patriots won tonight, 38 to 35 against the Giants.
Well...I have to say I'm kind of upset. I have nothing against the Patriots; I actually like them...but...for a team to win 16 and 0 is like...it's like flushing everyone else's efforts down the drain.
But on the other hand...there is no WAY that the Patriots will win in the playoffs.
...I watched the whole thing 'til the very end when the Giants couldn't bring in that stupid onside kick. They could've done a lot more things like NOT drop that stupid pass that could've gone for a long score, and NOT giving Randy Moss such a huge zone to catch that ball, and especially NOT making that freaking penalty for illegal contact early in the first half that could've held the Patriots to a punt.
To be honest...I only saw the first half of the game. I did record it on my tivo though, so I'll be watching it later tonight. I just turned around and saw the Patriots win...
Booooo.
The Giants could/should have won.
Oh and they won't win in the playoffs against the Colts...nope.
I don't care that the Patriots won each of their regular season games. I don't care if they win the Super Bowl or not. I don't care about Tom Brady or Randy Moss' touchdown records.
As long as the goddamn Steelers don't win, I'm perfectly happy. Oh, and I don't want to see the Cowboys win either.
same things going to happen to the pats this year as it did last year. Colts are going to assrape them. (im a big big big colts fan =D) Every team coulda beat the pats. They all really had there chances. Even the Ravens almost won. Maybe if the pats didnt cheat then they wouldnt have gone 16-0. Its all good tho the colts ended up second so im happy.
btw did tampa even make the playoffs? or are they in the wildcard?
I'm a proline player (basically gamble on sports...and with this it's either visitor / tie (in football a tie is considered 3 points or less - so this game was a tie) / or a home team win.
So in this game's case, a LOT of people got screwed...I would've made a lot of money off of this game except my friend took too long to shade in his ticket so we ran outta time to pay for them. I had a ticket for a tie too...
good old vick.
now the falcons are useless tampa own NFC South.
even though they are 9-6 they still win the division.
and tampa will win the superbowl because it wont be at hillsboro so the pats cant spy on the bucs, and then derreick brooks will destroy tom brady and caddy williams win run them over
The NFC is a pigsty, in my honest opinion. First of all, the NFC South was horrendous this year, with only...what? one team making a record above .500. (Bucs) Second, Tampa's good, but I don't think they're that good, beating the Patriots. We'll just see this weekend when they take on the Giants, who by themselves have a better record and a far better defense imo.
Tampa will not win the superbowl i can guarentee that o.o Colts, Packers, Cowboys, or Patriots will win it.
Most likly Patriots are going to win it only because there a powerhouse team... And they got Randy Moss... It would just be some stupid plays that they make if they lose after a 16-0 season. Even though im fairly positive the Pats will win, Colts might upset them again like last year
