Nice work on this one. =)

The colours are appealinga nd the lighting is nice and soft looking.

I like the lighting bolts on the sides and the text looks nice coming down on those angles towards him in the middle. It does direct your attention towards them more.

I like the glow on the text and the solid font you've used too.

This one looks great!

I love the oranges and pinks throughout.

The lighting is well done and the focal is well established.

Love how the background is blurred out and the text fits in beautifully over on the left in that little space.

Great font used too by the way.

Great blending and lovely signature overall.

I quite like the icey feel this one has.

The blues are work really nice together and you've blended him in nicely.

Good lighting and the background looks nice, though I don't think those sketchy scan lines around him fit in so well.

Other than that nice work. =)

Alright, here is an icon/avatar and abstract sig i made. They both were requests, but the Icon was the one that got dissed

Just a note, the request was to have "April" in it, so yeah

Nothing happening. Black canvas white c4d. Bad quality and over sharp in areas. It looks very messy. Use a better c4d and work more on it.

Im put off straight away by the render. You didnt even erase all the outline or bother belnding it in which is dissapointing. I dont like the text i think its distracting. ALthough it flows it makes for a messy look. I like the colouring though.

Feels like its 20 layers short of a finished product. It doesnt even havce the abstract look about it really. Go on to some GFX sites they have some awesome abstract tutorials.
How much did you do to this sig though? i mean i can see youv tried to cover up some text using brushes so im assuming part of the image already had photoshop work done.

I dont want you to think im only commenting like this because im offended by your comments in my thread (although that inspired me to comment )

Your signatures arent getting any better tbh. Youv been doing gfx longer than me but your imporvemnt has been minimal yet you talk like you know it all when it comes to C+C however your sigs are way below average at best. Reading your C+C in my thread and other threads. . i roll my eyes when i read as you talk like a master but the canvas states otherwise
Read tutorials. Itl help you out loads man. Theres many many good gfx sites. Sigresource gfxresource etc etc. Go there and nerd up on their tuts and take a look at how much youl learn and how much youl improve because as it stands you need the help.

You've posted quite a lot of work in this thread so I think you know you're way around PS. I also think it's time that you took more time to advance in skill level.

Try and make your pieces have ONE focal point. Many of you signatures have multiple light sources and odd render positions so your eyes dart around and sometimes it's confusing. If you have a single strong focal point, you have a launching pad to develop flow, effects and place text effectively.

Try and use effects that work well and try not to overuse them. If a signature only needs a few touches here and there, make those touches and keep it simple. Colours has some great signatures where simplicity is used and they look fantastic IMO.

I would also advise you to use more subtly in your signatures. Use the dodge and burn tools, blur and sharpen the background and foreground receptively to create depth. I think most of your signatures look very flat. They also look bit grainy at times and I don't why this is but you may be over sharpening things?


Anyway, keep at it mate.

While I like it... well... I don't like the faded version of him in the background, and as I stressed in my last post... (which was aaaaaaaaaaaaaages ago xD) TEXT TEXT TEXT TEXT! I love text, add it xD It make things look more finished. This sig looks very unfinished. His skin is almost the same color as the white bits in the background and his clothing.. he looks all pale and washed out. I just don't like it as much as I could if it looked more finished.

I SEE A BORDER! Go border go! His skin is also darker in this version, win! I like the background colors more too.. and the faded version of him doesn't look as off in this one, although the top of his head looks all cut off. I like the shiny blurry bit too, so awesome. The border's color... I don't quite agree with, but I'm so happy to see a border that it doesn't matter!

I like it.. but.. it's... well, I like it, but the colors seem tooooo bright. His back also looks oddly smudged/blurred.. maybe too much. I repeat, although you're properly sick of hearing it, TEXT. I'm also looking at the upper left corner wondering if there's something there or if it's just late and I'm seeing things...

Ooooooh shiny! Her hair looks a tad choppy, and while I like the contrast on her skin, I also don't like it. It's a bit too dark on the other side of her face... The background is nice, though. I like it xD I think it still looks a tad unfinished, tbh, but I'm not sure what would help it.

I think the lighting is too bright on bits of her face and back, but I really like most of it. I like the cloudy red-toned background a lot, although there seems to be a jagged, odd patch in the middle of her back below her shirt/bikini. Other than that... I think it's really nice.

.. I think we've got some color problems going on here 8F It's really hard to concentrate on, because it's so colorful. Color is good. But there's such a thing as far too much. I can barey tell what the render/character is, there's just too much.

I like the colors a lot... except on his face. I would have lightened the gradient or whatever you used to get the colors there. I like the effect around his hand, and behind his head, if you did that... it's rather interesting. I'd try some text though. Text text text. It helps with focal points, I think. I like the purples and oranges in this, they go good together.

... *omnomnoms colors* I like the colors SO much more in this one. His eyes are glowing.. xD I find that funny, for some reason. This version is so nice, with the different red-purple-orange-y colors. I like it a lot more, and the effects still work fairly well, although it looks slightly over sharpened or something where the bright white bits are. .. looks like I'm in the minority in liking this one though 8F

omnomnom orange and purple again. It's pretteh, but I wish you hadn't cut off the book there. I like the effects, a lot.. although the weird second image of him that I just noticed after turning my laptop's brightness all the way up doesn't seem to work too well, in my opinion. I like it, over all, although it does seem kinda busy too.

wtf is that? 8F Nah, I'm just kidding... It's just random and abstract, and I wouldn't call it a proper sig.. but it's nice to look at xD

I remember you showing this to me when you made it... I like it, the shiny spiky things pointing at/away from him are cool looking.. I don't like the second image of his face that I can see on his hand though. I don't know what it is with you and that xD The edges of Light and the book being all splashy/splotchy is different, and I can't decide if I like it or not. I do, however, adore the colors XD Orange ftw.

MICKEY! the little light in the corner is perhaps too bright and takes my attention away from Mickey... but he looks all awesome and his HANDS ARE GLOWING. Epic xD I don't like the second image of him I can see to the left, as usual. Whar is the text? >.>

I like the other version better.. except: I can't see the second image, looks like you've removed it, and the border. I really like the border a lot, actually. I don't like the amount of contrast on here though, it's too dark and his mouth looks all weird... too much contraaaaaaaaaast.

I must be the only person in the world who likes large text 8F I love the text size and color.. but it looks all pixelated on the edges. I also like the colors, except on Dante. I can't tell who it is, or barely even WHAT it is. It's.. vaguely person shaped. Too dark though.

Awwww no text... =[ I like text xD I think it's still too dark on the character, and I like the colors better in the first, although they're nice here too... I think the bright squiggly thingie on his arm looks better in this version but overall I like the other.

Too smudged... it's distracting, and combined with the blurry bits, it just doesn't mix. I like the color and the light on his/its hand, but other than that... not your best.

I like the colors a lot, but bits look pixelated and there's far too much contrast on the main focal point, and the sides seem to be over sharpened and just don't work. This signature seems to be a step backward compared to some of your others, just an off piece.

Since these are basically the same but one has text, I'mma stick them together XD I like the text but it's a bit hard to read in places... Other than that, This is quite the nice sig. Maybe a border to make it look more finished, and the pinkish purple on the left is a bit random. I like it other than that, I think.

I guess reflection might work sometimes... but not here, really. It just looks weird and messy-ish, I think. I prefer the first one, with text.

Looooooooooots of contrast, I think... maybe a bit too much. It's dark again, hard to tell what's going on, almost. The light is distracting and too different from the dark, maybe mix the tones a bit more so they're more matching and similar?

His face is all oraaaaaaaange.. is it supposed to be? >.> The right side next to his face looks a tad odd, kinda choppy and unblended. There's also the orange-red below his face... I don't like that either. It feels like it's over-colored and I don't know where to look. Try and have a main focal point, maybe?

The colors all flow well, and the text is very nice and readable, while matching the sig as well. I would maybe move it a little closer to the guy, might make your eyes travel less. I'd also erase the dots/effects from his face and neck a bit, they're distracting. He's also a bit pixely/sharp in some places, watch for that.

... Best thing I've seen in here yet tbh xD Other than Ichigo (.. ?) looking awesome, I like the brightness that faaaaaaades... but it does look too sharp in the background, a bit. Other than that, I really like it, the different colors on his hair look cool xD

There you go with the double image again xD I still don't like that double image thing.. gives me too much to look at. This is too bright over-all too.. and.. er... skin's not pink, although that doesn't really matter 8F I think it's a bit too mono-chrome, add some coooooooooolor, and I can't read the text D: Too bright for me to be able to read and it looks pixely around the edges.

Ooooh, I do like it, but again, your text is all pixely. I don't know why, but I'd fix that. Also, maybe try multiple fonts...? I like the big bold text you have going on, distracting but it's the good kind of distracting, I think. The ripply thing around the character is odd and I'd be careful that it doesn't distort him (..?) too much.

... I can't tell what it is. I think it's an anime girl but the image is too small and I can't tell quite.. feels very unfinished.

Looks like you scrapped/restarted this...? xD I can't say I blame you... the colors don't work too much, and that looks like a hard render to use, actually. I don't like it much at all.

I like this better than the other versions, other than the random white bits behind him.. the text is nice, but I think the text is better on version IV. The rest, however, is much better. Doesn't look overdone but still pretty and close to finished looking.

He's so white Why is he so white? Again, the white bits behind him... they distract me *twitch* I like the text on this, but not as much as in version II or IV... This version is a bit too bright overall for me, actually. The border seems too not match too well either.

Second favorite version of this for sure, although the brush/light over his face made him look a tad pixelated. Once again, the white bits >.< They really should have been erased. The "I hold the" text could maybe be moved to the middle more and the render could be bigger/off center a bit, but other it's not bad.. but the white is still distracting me, no matter how I look at it.

Ooooh I like the text. Right away, I noticed that it fit in well and I like it. His eyes look all dark, unless that's from the original picture... never know with Mr. Way xD Other than that, this feels like a bit of a plain sig. I'd add more... there's a lot on the right it looks like but not on the left, so either add more and risk it being busy or spread out the right side more.

I think you used this image earlier and I liked the other version more. this one is nice color-wise, but it's got no text, and I adore text. The ripples don't look quite as nice here and his face and hair are the same color, which bothers me.. I don't know why but it does xD I'd add a bit more color... not a lot, but a bit.

Random-looking, but if I recall, the request was for abstract, which I find to be horrible to do xD I like the colors and the clean, sharp looking text... add a border and I'd be a fan XD

... I honestly couldn't tell what the text said at first. I sat there looking at it, and I looked at it every time I read one of your posts tbh. Now I kinda see the A.. but barely. Too hard to see with the white dots, sadly. I don't like how the "Gaga" text goes over her head a bit either.. the purple heart is a cute touch though. I think there's a bit too much going on is all.. not too hard to fix really.

I think this one has more potential. It feels like you stopped before you were done, and bits look messy and sloppily done. His hair looks all odd, and so does the coloring on the hand. I like the abstract-ish background, but I think it would benefit from some text.

Can't read the text D: I need a translation.. wait. You spelled "Merry" wrong for "Merry Christmas" It's too light, it needs contrast... well... overall contrast, since the guy is all dark in the middle and the rest is so light that I can't read the text. I'm not sure what the pink text in the corner says either.

.. far too bright, I can barely tell it's Draco D: Tone it down some, it's hard to see what it even is in some parts, while in others it's too dark. Not a lot to say.. it's feels like you just cropped it and brightened it.

Were you in a bit of a slump? This aren't as good as some of your previous things. The text on this one is a real down-slide, but I like the blood splatter-y bits and the render... it's blended fine, which is always nice. This would be a lot better with different text.. it feels slapped on and not thought out.

This is probadly my favourite by you and i think the best uv done so far. Unlike some others youv kept the colours complimentary which sets the tag off well. Nice positioning and flow. Maybe work on the depth a little and work on adding a proper light source. But otherwise nice work lad

It has a lovely colour scheme and the lighting is well done.

Lovely blending and the background is very intriguing.

I like how his hand comes towards you like it's about to pull you in. Awesome work with choosing that image.

I do think that a border would complete this nicely though. =)

I do like these two pieces the most, but that's because I'm a colour person.

The colour schemes of both of these are fantastic and the compliment the renders very well, the lighting is very good and used nicely and the overall use of effects is brilliant. I like the way you've tried to keep them simple and not do too much to them, and it's worked wonders. I agree with Kandy though, a border would be nice - but that's personal preference. Great work!

The Jolteon one has nice flow and a good colour palette, but it's very bright. (The same goes for the other two.) The colours are also faded and dull. An easy fix to both of these problems is to play around with a Brightness/Contrast layer placed over the whole tag to make the colours more vibrant and easier on the eyes.
