OK...Im gonna try to explain this.....I like to slice & dice my enemies with moves such as Omnislash, The Lionheart & Blitzace this is my preference in battle, now im not saying that single strike moves like bloodfest or energy rain
& um satelite beam are no good cause they are and they look really cool but i think every ff game needs multiple combos but ff 12 hits system was a joke and i felt so deflated while playing it, it was like " go over there and hit that 3 times maybe if the maths works out" I mean 0.7% of getting multiple hits as a multiplier.....WHAT THE HELL KIND OF NUMBER IS THAT?

at least ashe was kinda sexy!

Come again? :wacky:

Anyway, yeah I also prefer the multiple hit Limit breaks, they have a lot more potential to do a lot more damage than single hit Limit breaks.

I prefer mulitple hitting limits, otherwise it just seems like there's no point seeing as once you have max damage anyway or can't go beyond 9999, 1 hit just aint gunna do anything but look really flash.....tbh, one hit moves reeeally annoy me, robably more than they should haha

I'd prefer more ways than just Limit Break-like attacks to gain attacks of over one strike of 9999...Give us the Genji Glove back, maybe...or some kind of Magic chaining ability...? I don't really have a preference, though since each game's is made to fit their own system. You never really have a need for one or the other...need trumps flash. I've always said that I can live without the lens flares...

Hmm... Well what game are you mainly talking about?
In Crisis Core, I like Apocalypse and Rush Assault, which are two different types of limit breaks, but I do massive damage with them.
Must admit I do more damage with rush assault, especially if I have the Power Suit item on, about 7000 damage each hit. But if I have Magic Master or Energy Suit on, I do about 60000 damage with Apocalypse.
Well, on FFX, I prefer the one hits, especially Anima's.

Yeah I prefer the multiple hitting limits as well. They look cooler and for every single move, I'm typically like, "Yeah!", "Yes, another one." "Yeah-ha-ha", "BOOM!", "KABOOM!". It gives me great satisfaction that I can deal so much damage to my enemies, and in style too.

Definitely multi strike hits, after delivering a massive attack, i always say "he has to be dead from that" or "how much hp does he have?". Also it makes the limit break more exciting

I prefer multiple hit overdrives/limit breaks too. They generally look cool, plus once you're doing max damage when you're higher levelled, single hit limits are useless.

As for FFXII, combo rates can be raised with the type of weapon you are using, say, a Katana has a higher combo rate than a dagger etc. also, you can equip items like Genji Gloves, or Beserk you characters, have them on critical health and so on to raise combo rates on any weapon with the exception of ranging weapons like guns or bows. Plus, with XII, quickennings tend to be the game's version of limit breaks, which of course, you can chain together and deal alot of damage, and trigger a Concurrence at the end which will add further damage.

Every weapon in ff12 has a mutiple number, and that number is multiplied by 0.7%.
For example; Masamune has a multiple of 40. Multiply that my 0.7% and you get a multiple hit ratio of 28/100

i think the multiple hit attacks are much cooler, as when u start hitting for max damage, single attacks become pretty much redundant, cos its better hitting 9999 multiple times as opposed to hitting 9999 just once with an attack

Multiple hits are better
it gets the job done faster
and are really useful in a boss battles

I seriously failed at Squall's limit thing for the most part. But those rare times that I did do good, I enjoyed the hell out of the multiple hit comb/limit thing. I was all like "Fuck yeah! XD". I also like the overdrives in FFX, but I forget if they're multiple hit or not. Meh.... :hmmm:
