The other night, my friends and I watched The Human Centipede. And really we did it because one of my friends wanted to see who could sit through it without getting sick.

The movie was gross, but not unwatchable. Mainly because I couldn't believe that the people were actually sewn together. And I had seen worse.

What would be the most disturbing movies you've ever seen? And no spoilers.

Salo: 120 Days of Sodom: I watched this in a film class in college. Apparently it's banned in several countries or recently unbanned. I nearly threw up during the most controversal part of the movie and I had trouble eating for about three days after. The torture the characters went through also would not get out of my head after the movie was over.

Cannibal Holocaust: I recently found out that the director was arrested after this movie was released because some people believe that people were actually killed for this movie. It turned out to be false. This movie had images that really creeped me out. All of the animal killings did not sit well with me mainly because actual animals were killed. The turtle was the worst. And I had nightmares about the woman on the spear.

I Spit on Your Grave: The damn rape scene and the casteration scene. This movie gave me some very bad nightmares too. I didn't find the movie all that good either.

This one is really disturbing. And a crappy movie at the same time. Go figure.

A movie I remember was a Japanese Gore Action flick called the Heroic Trio. It was an 80s movie that had the typical over the top violence. But when I first saw it I was only a kid. The creepiest thing I remember was the villain had a metal birdcage strapped to a chain and he would chuck on people's heads and rip them off. I saw this movie again as an adult and it still freaked the shit out of me.

One of my favourite films 'Song for a Raggy Boy' has the most disturbing scene I've ever seen, so I'd say that makes it the most disturbing one I've seen. It's about the abuse in a Christian Brothers school, basically the poor conditions, lack of standardised teaching, corporal punishment, and in one case molestation. Anyways, one of the scenes actually portrays a student being molested and it's pretty horrible. The rape scene in American History X also springs to mind

The girl next door - Where the girl gets raped and tortured in unbelievable ways..
Human centipede - where the asian guy had to take a shit...
I spit on your grave - Where she uses hooks to open that guys eyes..sickness..
Antichrist - Where the woman cuts off her own clit...and some more disturbing scenes..

Crazy movies..

I have seeen many more...cant remember them titles..

This may sound a bit whack, because it's animated. But Watership Down under, My dad forbid me to see it when I was younger, and I thank him still to this day. Basically rabbits get stuck underneath ground and suffocate, rabbits get poisoned and trapped by farmers, and there's also a killer rabbit that goes around, killing the other rabbits and ripping them apart. And yeah, this is meant to be a kid's movie. In the end, you think it would be happy right ?! No, the girl rabbit dies while her lover grieves and Total Eclipse of the Heart, plays in the background. :hmph:

Another disturbing movie, despite being animated is the Brave Little Toaster. It's basically a harsher version of Toy Story 3. Singing, old fragile cars sing about how they were rejected by their owners, and you see them one by one, being crushed into pieces. In one part, you can see the car try and escape, but he can't, because he's so damaged. And the end of the song ?! A CAR COMMITS SUICIDE.
He feels so lonely. rejected, and worthless, that he says " stuff it " and basically lets the trash compacter have him.
:thehell:

Not only that, but it also has a horrible clown nightmare, that comes out of nowhere basically, a flower that's deeply in depression, and toys and objects that are messed up and mixed around by a crazy inventor and they sing about how they enjoy insanity.

And if you though the Trash compactor part was bad for human like cars, how about a ACTUAL human going through the trash compactor ?! Y/ N ?!
:dave:
Granted he survives, but holy hell....

Great kids movies right thar.
:jtc:

I remember some of those movies ^^^ specially the one with the toaster, but I can barely remember anything since i have not seen these movies in years.:D

Saw. Anyone who says that movie is stupid obviously doesn't get the movie. It's genius, and very disturbing.

Hostel 2- Egh, I will never watch a movie like that. It was sickening, after watching it I felt sick, especially when I read this movie was based on a true story.
Things like cutting of a head in one hit doesn't scare me, but doing things slowly? and seeing the characters hurt? omg...

The Japanese film Audition starts off like it's going to be a romantic drama (or even comedy) and then gradually gets weirder and weirder until the final section or so is just horrific. The contrast between the start and end of the film made it feel especiallt disturbing to me.

There's a 1980s film called Society which has a pretty crazy ending too, some really 'ewww' body horror stuff.

The Thing

with Kirk Russell.

It has been on tv a couple of times recently after a long hiatus.

It's simply too graphic for me.I can accept the concept of alien dna overwhelming the human dna ( or animal dna for that matter) and a person transforming. But the bodies bursting open and the tentacles and mouths appearing were just too much for me.:holyshit:

The Chuckie movies. Saw it when I was a child, and I've never been right in the head since. In all seriousness, the idea of dolls talking (much less a murderer) really creeps me out. Even now I'm still scared of Chuckie. I was given a porcelain doll last year (about 3 ft tall)...passed down from my grandmother-in-law who passed away, and it's stashed away in my mom's closet because I can't stand looking at it. It's probably about $500 worth from what I heard, but I don't want it. And all because of a psycho doll named Chuckie.

I watched A Serbian Film. My life has never been the same since.

I just saw that and came to post about it.

Yeah, this is by far the worst thing I've ever seen. I'm trying to forget it but certain scenes will not get out of my head such as the part with the newborn and the death of one of the characters...

I tend to like exploitation films and I had trouble getting through this one.

This is like Saw and Hostel taken to the next level.

Yeah Cannibal Holocaust was fucked. I think it's still banned in a few countries.. you know the actors actually ate the turtle. :wacky:

I didn't think Watership down was that bad. Everyone says it's too disturbing to be a kid's film but I watched it when I was a kid and yeah at the time I thought damn ain't this some shit but never did I freak out or anything. That film is a classic.

You've sold it to me. :8F:

The Thing will definitely creep you out, but I still love it because 1) it's done SO WELL and 2) the idea is just.... omg.... magnificent.

But the worst? I think the Black Swan takes the cake there. In every way. Anyone that's ever seen it will know what I mean. How does absolute shit get so many rewards?

Sheesh, Rydia, even I knew better than to watch the Human Centipede! *shudders* I read the back and was like "Nope, not gonna bring it with me."

Splice has some fairly gross stuff in it as well.
