Moogles?

That is a major disappointment considering FFXIII follows FFXII - a game where Moogles are so commonplace and an integral part of Ivalice's setting. Now Moogles just seem so insignificant in FFXIII - like in FFX and FFX-2.

Ah, this just makes me love FFIX even more now. The one game where the Moogles are perfectly done. They have their own names, personalities and they interact with other in a really cute way.
 
Ermm, well...that's shit. I'd rather not have them to be honest, what a pathetic excuse for a cameo. :wacky: I was hoping they'd at least be stood next to the save point where the shop is. SE fail.

Seriously. xD

I'd even take a moogle doll that you can find and collect in the game but this is just sad.

Any chance there's one living in Sazh's hair with the Chocobo? :hmmm:
 
i hope they go back to using the moogles as a save system like they did in FFIX :] i liked the cute little moogle popping out of the corner of my screen with a pompom on his head when i blew the moogle flute :P

I know - the Moogles just seem to be (in FFXIII's world that is) fictional mascots of a shop. That's worse than what I imagined. I'd have loved for SE to have Moogles walking around the world able to save the game for you like in FFIX - with some Moogle merchants. This is just sad. >_>

I only realised how ugly the Moogles are this time round. The cat-eared, bat-winged rodent thing is perfectly conventional, but what have they done to their faces? They look like mischieveous creatures about to maul off your face or something.
 
Well so far I havent seen any moogles and Im up to chapter 4. Would be nice to actually see one, but so far its been zippo.

Not only is that a bad cameo (if this is indeed the only place you see a moogle), but the moogles look awful too.

They look messed up because they look like vampires (with the hair), their pom-poms are larger than their heads and most of their bodies, their ears are huge, and they are pulling an impish face.

I'm quite dissapointed in that, but then again I guess they did say that it would only be a cameo. I just expected a bit more than just a shop logo.
 
A moogle, eh? Not as of yet - no. It would be interesting to see one though. I was amazed by the chocobos in Nautilus. I would like to see a moogle, pass by me on my adventure ;))

You can ride wild chocobos on pulse.
 
Damn that there's only a Moogleworks shop on Final Fantasy XIII, but i gotta say that Final Fantasy IX had the best moogles :)
