Microsoft Bundles Xbox 360 with FFXIII

A Microsoft retail training site may have leaked a Final Fantasy XIII hardware bundle for North America.

The Final Fantasy XIII special edition comes with an Xbox 360, 250 GB hard drive, headset, Final Fantasy XIII, and two wireless controllers for $399. While the picture shows a white console, the description claims the console and the controllers are black. Sounds similar to the Modern Warfare 2 bundle sans a fancy console.

This package has not been formally announced by Square Enix or Microsoft so the contents are subject to change. Actually, we hope this isn’t final and something special is in the package, even if it’s as small item such as the Final Fantasy XIII faceplate Major Nelson had on his desk. Otherwise, the first Final Fantasy hardware bundle for North America will also be the dullest Final Fantasy hardware bundle in the history of the series.

It'd be nice if we didn't already have an XBox. I'm considering just buying the Xbox version of the game over the PS3 one now.

Don't think I'll be able to get a PS3 in time for when the game is due.

Oh, so it is real. I saw this yesterday with a "placeholder" image that was 'shopped and people were able to pick apart inconsistencies in the image (different shadows, a dark line around a white XBOX 360), but this looks more official. Saw that FFXIII faceplate too - looked really nice

It was coming, M$oft are 100% about the money and they'd have been more likely to jump on a Final Fantasy XIII bundle than Sony were for Japan All being said, I can't see anything on it relating to Final Fantasy XIII other than it has Lightning on the packaging and comes with the game

Oh interesting.... Is it just a regular Xbox 360 Elite? Or is it actually a special edition Xbox. If its just black like the elite then screw that But ill buy the faceplate when it comes out. If only it was really a special XIII xbox. Its ok though but I anint selling for this...
