Yes, it's me again. So I finally finished me1 again after my ps3 died and I took apart my ps3 and got my me2 game out :) but I just realised I'm missing one of the DLC characters (second hand copy). Zaeed would cost me £12($18) - is he worth the price?
 
I wouldn't recommend it. He's rather bland and even I dont find him much of a badass in contrast to the ones already there. I would suggest getting Kasumi though, she's worth the DLC. Though I suppose if you propose to make it a perfect finish for 3, then you'd best get zaeed.

I have Kasumi. I have everyone except Zaeed, I have all the DLC content except for him. Whoever had the game before me didn't download him for free for some reason. I want to get the best possible ending at the end of 3, do I need Zaeed for that?

Hardly. During the last mission of the game, you'll be assigning different tasks for your crew to perform, and Zaeed fits in no category. And I wouldn't pay 18 bucks for him since his side mission is very lackluster and his importance in the crew is poor. He is though a fun character, and Robin Sachs does a terrific job as a VA, but since you could normally get him for free I wouldn't spend the money.
 
I got both dlc characters for free as well as some of the DLC for the game. To be honest Zaeed is probably the most bland crew character in the ME series. He's fairly strong in combat and has some useful abilities but I personally rarely ever used him. He also doesn't have much character developing backstory/sidequest and his impact in ME3 is little to none. Not worth it.
 
You dont need him for the perfect ending really! Just to know the world of ME better, you can have him! Anyhow how did he cost so much? all DLC with him is free!
 
me being a big idiot baby perfectionist i bought all the stupid dlc and i would not recommend it if you're not totally invested in the series. i'm wondering why it'd be $18 though? cerberus network costs that much? 8(

but no zaeed really doesn't have that huge of an impact i don't think
