MOTHER FUCKING LIVE ACTION POKEMON.

I don't care if this is fake or looks completely shit (which tbh the graphics too).. IT'S FUCKING POKEMON. IN LIVE ACTION.

I've been waiting for this for years. <3

This looks interesting if nothing else, if it is real, I'd totally go and see it. Which Pokémon are in the trailer thing? I can definitely see Gyrados, Mewtwo, Snorlax, Voltorb Squirtle and Jigglypuff... but I'm not sure on the others.

It'll be interesting to see if it is real, bringing Pokémon to a more adult setting. I hope they stick to the original 151 Pokémon though, those ones are the best. By far.

I'm hoping this is real because it looks pretty good. Having it in live action would be so remarkable and incredible. And I agree with what Mark said, keep the original 151.

It's most likely fake. Still, even if it is real, it will be a very odd idea. Seeing the cutsey kids' Japanese anime and then looking at this very western and gritty trailer would just be something I would struggle to comprehend with (at first perhaps). It would be a very ambitious idea and I'm open to something like this (however radical and interesting it would be), but a lot of the Pokémon in CGI compared to the live action footage would look too incongruous.

I even saw ONIX ..dont know how to spell it properly..the stone snake..
for 5 seconds or so..if its real its just another fail DBZ revolution live action movie from the look of it...

I think movies based on games/cartoon should all be made exactly like the lord of the rings trilogy...just epic fantasy but no way from childish..I want a mature and serious undertone in these movies..but this is something I would never wanna see...only DL maybe..

EDIT:
sex, drugs suicide whats that all about?
what a stupid thing to put there lmao

This can't be real. Nintendo wouldn't compromise their established Pokemon franchise with this kind of movie. Drugs? Suicide? Nintendo would not do this.

I say FAKE! :gasp:

Hope this movie comes out asap !! so I can laugh at it..it seems like a good old comedy flick..

Squirtle just looked so Kawaii in the trailer

So as it turns out, it's a fan made film, but it's still got all the throwbacks to the anime with Team Rocket and Giovanni... The Pokemon, especially Pikachu, look kinda shite.. but I would still so download this whenever they finish it. It looks awesome. =D

FULL TRAILER

That was actually quite good, bar the rather bad and/or odd CGI renderings of most of the Pokémon there. I can't say I've ever encountered a fan film trailer as interesting as this, so I'll be keeping an eye on this. I love the fact that it's nothing you expect to see under a franchise name typically associated with kids' stuff. I also quite liked the three that are clearly meant to be Team Rocket here. Seeing this and then looking at the incompetent anime Team Rocket, I'm not going to look at Jessie, James and Meowth in the same way again. :lew:

Oh, poor Pikachu - even though it was a weird Pikachu. I love how there appears to be protests against the unethical side of Pokémon battles though. xD

AH LET IT BE FAKE PLEASE GOD!

After that awful Live Action adaption of Dragonball I don't need another part of my childhood ravaged in order to make money.

And if I'd read the whole thread I would see it was fanmade. Hm last time there was fuss about this sort of thing it was a Zelda movie....

The thing with the Zelda movie was that... Gamespot.. or Gamefaqs.. or some high end Game website were doing it, and the trailer got as far as an April Fools joke. This, looks like they're actually going through with it all the way.

I remember they did a fan-made Mega Man movie as well. I saw the trailer, and it was pretty good. But I'm not gonna make any comments about it till I see the full movie.

I will say that for being a fanmade film it does look pretty good.

I guess I'll have to wait for the rest and see..

There actually was a full length fanmade movie adaptation of one of the Zelda games. Nintendo let the movie stay on for a month after it went viral before giving a deadline lest there be legal repercussions to the makers. I remember that fans were divided. Some people thought it was done is such a crappy way and smeared the original game, while others applauded the efforts.

There's way too many notable fanmade vids that have stayed online (Dead Fantasy for example) and stayed off, so I really don't know what criteria needs to be met or avoided so that a fan project doesn't get caught in legal traps :hmmm:

For this movie, it does seem interesting, but I have a hard time believing that Nintendo will let people get away with portraying Pokemon in such a different way than it's marketed.

How crappy flash hentai escapes the radar, I have no clue :monster:

The hentai probably makes them money. >.>

Also I never heard of the movie going full length, I thought it was just a trailer.. Which game was it for, cause the one I'm thinking of was for OoT.
