So I'm sitting here enjoying my time alone without Steve around for a change and then I get a effing knock on my door!!! :gasp:

Of all the days they would choose to do it, they would do it on the day Steve isn't here to answer the bloody thing. <_<

I had the same thing happen to me not too long ago during the week as well!

I just hide and look out the window until I see them leave. Though I didn't see anyone leave this time and then looked out the backyard window and saw that it was the neighbour across from us trying to get rid of his tree that fell down over our fence. <_<

WHY DOES IT ALWAYS HAPPEN TO ME!!!

I'm not about to go answer the door when it could be the local rapist for all I know!

And the annoying thing is that they continue to knock loudly like 7 or 8 times! Then they shut the screen door and seem to have left, but no they open it again and continue to bash away. :gasp:

I can't relax now. I'm typing so slowly so as to not make any kind of noise. XD

A similar thing happened to me once, only I answered the door. And lo and behold there were these three wise men outside my door. They said would you like to play the drums in our band, and I told them to piss off. Then they went to my neighbour, who was some guy called Ringo.

cold callers fuck me off, Im too polite to tell then to naff off so it takes me ages to get rid of them -__-

Just say you don't need anything, I hate people that interupt me when I'm concentrating so I know what it feels like

Yea, I have a pretty crazy story myself.

So Ole Miss was playing a football game sometime in October of 08' and I of course skipped out because for one I hate getting parking just to walk another 1/2 mile to the stadium and two because my parents were in town. I just cba to go to games much, I would rather watch them on the TV where I can yell and get rowdy at home.

So anyway L. was at work and I was at home watching the game upstairs. When I heard a doorbell... At first I was ignoring the damn thing because I couldn't see a car outside. Then I heard knocking and at this point it was pretty loud. So I started getting paranoid and went downstairs. I opened the door and no one was there. So I scratched my head and then turned around and shut the door and locked it. As I crept up the stairs I then heard the same bang on the damn door. I went back down and opened the door and closed it behind me.

Outside was a smaller guy, I would say he was about 5'8 and he was skinny and was wearing some raggedy shiznit. He started scratching his face and immediately he went into a skit. He was selling magazines in order to study abroad. He said if I subscribed to one that it would mean he could study Spanish and what not.

Well me being a pretty built guy, he was getting a bit.. paranoid looking at me. He was like.. "I don't want no trouble.. I see you are pretty big guy and could beat me up and I've already had a gun pulled on me today, I just need some purchases, and oh that knock at the door was some other guy who is in competition with me"

I was thinking, what the hell kind of people are these. I knew he was lying because his shiznit was way rehearsed. He didn't give up though, he kept going on and on, and I asked him a question or 20.. because of course I was good to be skeptical. I went inside and wrote him a 20 dollar check. After doing so I called the bank instantly with my routing number in hand and told them to cancel the check.

The dude could of been legit as far as magazines go, but seriously he was shady and was lying directly to my face about the study abroad stuff. He looked like a crack head. He was wearing a wife beater and plaid shorts. I wondered if he had a gun on him to be honest, but I handled it calm and cooly since I carry no arms myself.

The best I could of done at the point was a golf club if he pulled a gun. It is very possible he was a harmless fellow. But in all honesty, I think it was just a felon trying to scam people in the neighborhood because he couldn't get a legit job.
