Just a sec, what exactly is a non-cannon rp again? I was never told this stuff :sad3:

non canon means not part of the storyline. Tis does not happen in the actual Halo universe. If it was canon, the it will follow the actual storyline and the game.
 
Thanks a lot for your advice earlier Tipsynaruto, I'm almost done my changes to my RP Bio, then I'll PM CassinoChips about it once finished with the History (I know he doesn't really bother with that, but I still want to complete it first. :hmmm:). :monster:
 
I apologize once again for my inactivity. In fact, it has just gotten worse, so you'll be seeing less of me, I'm certain. That said, I'm going to withdraw from all the role plays I'm participating in, since I'm more likely to impede progress than anything else. Apologies goes out to those affected, once again.

Though, this doesn't exactly mean I'll be totally away from now on. Just that the only thing I may be able to do is to come on this forum, look around for a couple of minutes, then head off.

Whatever it is, I'm more free today, heh... And I see two members interested to join this Guild eh!?

Raise your right hand. Stand up. Ensure nothing is too close to you. Raise your left leg. Place your right hand on your left feet. Turn around 50 times. Then hop with your right leg 10 times. Sprint from one end of your room to the other in 5 seconds. Then get back on the computer, and type a hundred word essay about wanting to join this Guild, with ONLY your right thumb... In half a minute.

Anyway, I shalt put your name in the first post in good faith. JUST FOLLOW THE RULES. I'm rather lazy to copy paste the usual welcoming message already :P
 
But from the sounds of it, if he joined it would probably only impede the progress of it, no? :monster: And no worries now, my RP Bio is officially finished (finally). One thing in particular to keep in mind about it; long history section is long. o_O

Some will say the history section of their RP Bio is long, but that is usually like three or four decent lengthed paragraphs long, mine has many paragraphs, so I can't emphasize it's length enough, but I think it should stay the way it is. :hmmm:

CassinoChips thinks it is better now, too. :P
 
Thats good to have a history like that. Whenever I wirte my bios while I write history in my mind im only saying "Alight lets get this over with" and I wrap it up bluntly. so-and-so did this and that leading to this life style, making them look like this and act like that...etc.
 
i used tto write long, flowing and detailed history until i realised being blunt and more straightforwad witha good deal of fluff cut off was more efficient. For the really dedicated ones, ill still write it really detailed, but for the others, a more chopped and straightforward history.

oh, and the briefer the history, the easier it is to integrate into another rp.
 
exactly, while my histories are detailed enough, they still can fit the mold for any RP I see fit, unless it's not the case and I edit it to be more in line.
 
If you like your history keep it, it can be changed by rp, but it is good to leave some sway room. I wouldn't suggest changing it unless you really felt it cruecial. in RP's that I generally have, an History can work out well.
 
Alright, well I think I'll leave it as is for the time being, I can always adjust it if I need to for some RP.

Now I just need to wait for something to happen...the RP I am in became dead when I posted in it. X_x
 
A Kingdome Darkly has been slow from the start. I suggest joining multiple rp's really. Thats what I do, although, all rp's seem dead recently...
 
The activity here seems to be like a rollercoaster, sometimes its booming madly, and other times its just movin along, while sometimes its dead :dead:
 
Yeah...maybe near the start of years it isn't as active as ways into the year? I dunno. At any rate, I'll probably join some other RP as well soon, increase my chances of an opportunity to RP. xP
 
Well, in my opinion, the history is only meant to explain the events that had shaped your character into what he or she is in the present time. I doubt anyone actually bothers to thoroughly read that segment of most role play bios, considering the time needed for something that the character may never mention in the role play itself.

In any case, I only write long because I like it :P

And, hoping for a sudden rise in number of role plays would be a little bit of a waste. Go start your role play, and create that 'rise in number of role plays'!

Just letting you all know, seeing how Kingdom Darkly is progressing rather slowly, I think it would be fine if one of you decide to create a Guild Role Play. This Guild hasn't been creating much role plays since Kingdom Darkly by bara.desu....
 
Well with Part One of my Kingdom Hearts Trilogy nearing it's end, It would be fine with me if RPer get a chance to read it and see what they think about it.
 
I would create an RP, but I lack an interesting idea, something that isn't just another "group of heroes gather to save the world" RP, I think they've been done to death, and probably why most of the RP section has almost completely died. :hmmm:

If I come up with a good idea for an RP, I'll be sure to bring that idea to life. :monster:
