depends on what they feel most comfortable with...just keep making RP's and hopefully it would catch the interests of a few of them.
 
try something unique i guess. we have have a huge influx of "heroes go on quest to save world" recently, so something different maybe?
 
Resident Evil or Outbreak? But I don't like those...and there has been some significant changes to my RP Bio, really should have thought it out beforehand of posting it, but to be able to explain why it could look the way it does and not be able to transform into a human, being of the Werewolf race would make this awfully complicated, and nearly impossible to explain.

I do have something to cover for whatever posts about his appearance. He is often mistaken for being a Werewolf, but is actually a Wolf Spirit, which is a far superior to an ordinary Wolf.

They always look just like a normal Wolf (mostly, though some do have some unusual patch or two of fur, like how Crimson Wolf has red fur across the left side of his face, and at the tip of his tail) until they realize their full strength, and ability to change to and from the natural Wolf shape and a Humanlike shape at will (reading the RP Bio as it is now will give you more details, and more will be added to it soon).

I have a character that also has a wolf spirit. In actual fact, she is in Kingdom of Darkly. The biggest problem is that there is a huge difference in the type. Yours, is a living thing, whilst mine is an eternal spirit.

I am a bit confused by your racial classification. Spirit equates to something not tangible, nor quite killable by human means. If its alive and capable of being killed, then its not a spirit. However, if you insist that it is a spirit, then it violates rp rule of being not killable.

We need to work something out as to not cinfuse other rpers in Darkly.

Lastly, i want to remind you that you suddenly changing stuff in your bio after its been approved require you to pm a mod. Unless its measly peanut stuff, id advise you to pm the mod about it so he can glance over it again.

Now im not sure if its my memory going fuzzy, but i remembered that it was originally just werewolf. If not then i apologise. If it was, then you are changing heaps, making him into an entirely different racial catagory with changed/additional powers. You need to tell Grahf

It is able to be killed, but it isn't an easy task, it is quite strong and doesn't take a great deal of damage from any one hit.

Technically, it isn't like some kind of ghost or energy or something like that, it is very much a living and breathing creature like anything else, but it is gifted from it's ancient ancestors from long before Wolves were as mankind has ever known them.

And yes, it was mentioned specifically as being of the Werewolf race, now that is merely the race many mistake it for when it appears to somebody in it's human shape...

If this doesn't make any sense though, I have something else in mind, it could have been a regular Wolf that had a spell cast on it by some powerful sorcerer that caused him to be stuck in that human shape, whether of his own free will or against it.

Now, about the spirit part, it may just be me, or it may not be, but to everyone else, having spirit in the name may cause confusion. i am just stating the most likely outcome that may occur when people read Wolf Spirit. If it is a living breathing thing, then spirit isnt the best of words to use. I am just thinking that a better name would help prevent people from misunderstanding. In fact, you can just make up an entirely new race. In fact, i actually recommend this.

EG: Ferfnir (made this up)

Race of human wolfs that appear as .......

When in human form, many mistaken them for werewolves....

Have the strength of wolves and the intelligence of humans.....

Make it detailed though. ill give you some links to bios with original races. It makes it much easier to understand than what you have described them as.

This one is one of my own races for a bio on this site.
Heliants are humans that, through deep and feverent devotion to the Good, have been blessed by God into a semi-angel state. They acquire wings that are light gray and a slightly visible halo above their head. With the blessing, their bodies become more powerful, with their basic stats boosted (eg, strength, speed, etc). Also, they are immune to all lower world poison. Also, they possess a remarkable regenative system. Although not instantaneous, it can heal a rather serious wound in a period of 4-7 days. It is not possible to regenerate lost limbs, nor reattach. They can choose the age they appear as along with powers that enable them to use magical skills. Their wings are like their legs in a sense that it is natural for them to walk and to some extent take some hits. It spans at 3 metres total from both sides when fully spread. However, the amount it spreads is proportional to the distance and use of the wings. Despite being almost invulnerable, the only way they can be defeated is through actual combat and violent death. This means that if one is skilled enough, they can easily kill a Heliant like any human through combat. Once defeated, they are automatically accepted into heaven, their wings losing the gray colour and becoming pure white... providing their soul has not been tainted whilst being a Heliant.

Their existance is to combat their polar opposite, the Serverants / Fallen Beings. These two "races" reside in a realm between lower regions and the higher regions of the cloud. As a result, human contacts have been almost zero with maybe a few sighting of one dipping just below the clouds. A plane barrier is set in which prevents either race from going below.

In a basic sense, the two races are another army for God and the Devils, in which a conflict raging for aeons still continues. Heliants range from warriors to clerical and mage types. Both race have cities near their realm in which they reside in and defend, in which the Heliant's capital is called Vatica. As such, different type of people are needed to sustain the the forces.

Heliants have adopted a indifferent attitude towards most things outside of their devotion to their goal, that is the defeat of the Severants.

Crap Load of characters.....only three races....may add more though.

But Yeah, Cerberus, you can come up with different races, using other RP'ers for ideas is a good idea (doesn't mean you should go and steal that idea....).

Wikipedia and various other Wiki's may also serve as good sources, as that's how I partially got some of my research on these characters.

I do think he has a general race he wants. Its now just fleshing out all the details for it.

In any case, i better stop procrastinating about going to sleep and actually getting off the pc. :awesome:
 
Well, I may as well join in the posting then. SO I see talk of species? I a reeeaaally long list of species, and I doubt I could ever make enough characters to complete this list, so if you want something really unique, I have a list of (counted) 34 sepcies. I also have very in depth descriptions of each one.
 
cant be arsed to yype it up really, but most of them I made up, Later I might be arsed, and if not Ill force myself to do it tomorrow. I used a book I have called "Demonologicl tales" to inspire most, and I did take a bunch, although not all of them are demons...

Ill give a few of my species right now...

Dragoon- A human blessed by a the spirit of a dragon, these humans are greatly effected by the dragon that gifted them. Depending on the dragon they gain a different special physical ability, weather it be jump height or extra speed. During the new moon the transform into a humanoid dragon of proportional size to the human that has been gifted. The transformation methods vary by individual, as do the transformed appearance.

Kenra- This is not at all human, they are quadrapeds with pale skin tones of varying colors. The have a tail as well that is used for balance and speed. The have fast attacks and running speeds, that of wich all are almost completely unmatched. They have sharp claws that can be used for the ripping of flesh. They have no spirit or soul, removing the ability of magic. They often can speak, but sometimes they never bother to learn. With six eyes on each side of there snake like head, these creatures are very reptilian and have 3 sets of 342 teeth in their mouth. They are very carniverous.

Raksha- A mostly female race, these high jumping magicians can master any element of magic they choose, but only one element. They will only otherwise know the basics of the other elements. They are a very tall species in comparison to humans and they are very humanoid. The only main differences between the species is height and their hands. Their hands always resemble claws, but they are soft and can not be used as claws. They often have great hearing and sight in comparison the the humans.
 
well I could do that but really thats not nearly as good as getting the entire experience. I could only learn about the world and species etc., but I personally dont think its enough to help me out here...
 
Like i said in the thread. Prior knowledge is not needed. Just knowing the backbone story is enough, which is humans getting ass whooped by alien race.
