Besides, I think the fact that I was away from RP'ing for half a year and had no English classes for three months have effected me and my ability to speak/type proper English.

But I do hope that my grammar isn't THAT bad :D

BTW! You have improved A LOT when compared to the previous you who I knew half a year ago :D

Thanks! That'll be because of the recent examinations. I HAVE to brush up my English or cry when I receive my results. In any case, I do have to attribute much of the improvement to my teacher, without her, I think I'll be the same as I was previously.

Not forgetting the other forums which I had role played on. Particularly Role Play Gateway. That site taught me so much, that I think it's safe to say I'm an experienced role player. Maybe not the best yet, but decent enough.

With regards to your grammar.. It isn't that bad, but could certainly be improved.

I can see you're determined to try and prevent dead RP's, and as a person who don't want to see an idea go to waste, I sympathize with what you're doing, and I wish to join your group.
 
So..............what to do for our first RP? I understand that it's still "coming of age" with membership, but that doesn't me we shouldn't at least brainstorm. My suggestion is pretty standard, actually.

Meet in urban area; must overthrow evil local power; fight boss; cheers!

Yeah, it may be simple, but since this is our first RP as a group, it should be as simple as possible, as to set precedence for further RP.

I hope you can promise to be able to participate actively in future role plays, and that you did not join this guild just for the namesake.

That said, I expect you will now understand the consequence of now being a Guild. (Muahahahahahahahaha)

.. That is, to have as much as fun through role playing, and providing a great experience to others as well as yourself.

And, with regards to the first Guild role play, if I'm not wrong, Onion Knight did suggest creating a Final Fantasy VIII Role play. (If I'm not wrong, once again) According to her, she was still in the progress of setting up the VIII role play.

And, regarding your idea, it does sounds good. Though I don't see why we could have two role plays running, if no one else objects.

Actually this is a pretty good idea :D It seems like a training and actually may turn out quite great. And of course, it would have an ending :) ( Never seen a single RP in FFF that has made it to an end)

About the FF VIII RP: I agreed with it before :)

And like Zephi said, why not to have 2 RP's together, especially as the first one doesn't seem to be THAT time consuming as many big projects/RP's are.

That's fine with me, I also have an RP running, though it's just me and Hal doing it though. My goal in the Guild is to see as many RP's make it to their end.
 
It would definatley be good to see more RP's make it to the end, the unfortunate issue many RP'ers have is they come into a story all guns blazing at first then kinda burn out as the RP draws on, its a trend i've noticed over the course of many RP's.

Another issue is some Rp'ers love to be "Heroic" or pure "villains" and this becomes difficult for them to achieve when the main heroes or villains are pre-defined and the rest have to take a "backseat" role...its nice for opportunities to crop up in RP's for everyone to have a chance to be "Hero or Villain" of the hour to make them feel empowered in there character and wish to press on further with the RP.

If anything i'd say its one of the reason Juss'es RP went on for as long as it has, everyone gets there "moment in the sun" and there is not one "main villain" at the current moment giving everyone ample chance to play the savior or the destroyer at that moment in time :)
 
Good point. Though, ultimately, the players themselves must still be determined. If you feel the inspiration dying down, try to rekindle it. On the GM (of the role play)'s side, s/he'll have to work on coming up with innovative ideas in the course of the role play to keep the interest of the players.

I think I'll try to implement this as much as possible into the future role plays by this Guild. (Don't expect too much though, I did say I will 'try'.)

.. Speaking of which, I do think we have enough members for a decent role play to be carried out. (Assuming the entire Guild participates) So, bara.desu, are you still keen on creating the role play you had in mind?

Well, I think we are trying to create a new one from the beginning with the guild members :D So the one that bara.desu made few days ago isn't the one he told us about ... I do hope so.
 
Well I would like to participate.
I am experienced with rpg's pnp and otherwise.
However I 've never been in an FF rp before... just the usual dnd from version 3 till the last one (4) and vampire: the masquerade.
I would be grateful if someone would give me a link to the guild's active rpg, if I am welcomed of course.
 
I hope you get accepted :) Anyway, we are currently deciding which RP to create as our first official RP, so no active RP's atm.
 
FFVIII: The Descent of Magic should be ready to go as of either later today or tomorrow.

It's a completely freeform story. The roleplayers dictate the way events will unfold, etc.

Anyway. Expect it up soon for those interested. ;))

For the RP that I posted few days ago, I planned for it to be a free form RP without any objectives or combat (unless the players want to).

So, no, that RP isn't the one I was recommending, though you're more than welcome to join. :D
