Ah... I just decided to make a new thread, seeing my photobucket had a make-over. So, there was really alot of links that got messed up, so I decided to make a new thread. Keep it simple, clean, and organized, 'cause I'm picky like that. ​

Been making graphics, as in a 'serious hobby' for a few months now? I'd think... About 6 months. I just do it for fun, I couldn't make a living out of this, I simply wouldn't want to. Music is definitely the way to go if you 'could have any dream job you wanted.'. ​

All of these are really nicely cut; except you have a white border on like.. all of them. Black borders/No border/Black Overlayed Borders look nice too :'D My favourites are the Decadence and xLockhartAvenue ones. You're very good at iconing Tifa; too~

That fellow looks like David Tennant o3o It's so shineeyy. I like how you actually HAVE "COLLAB" on there; it's funny/epic xD; The colours are awesome; but he looks a bit.. squashed? o_o

Woaaahh. Awesome text there.. this is just awesome o_o Seriously, I love this.. The text is perfect & the image is simple and fits perfectly. It doesn't look cramped, and everything just looks amazing. Beautiful.

Kira's text-loving side is in HEAVEN! I like how there's different fonts used; and the colours. They don't look too invasive or mood-ruining, but are a nice touch x3 She looks all glowy and such too <33

Ooooh.. I like it. I'm not sure what you did to the original image as far as coloring etc, but it looks good. The text looks nice and readable, and I love the little x XD The uneven border... I've wanted to try that then I never do D:

Colorful! THERE'S NEARLY NO PURPLE I AM SHOCKED WOMAN. I like the LA in that, it looks cool. Yay for parrots~

hmm... I don't like the little boxes much. It's hard to tell what's happening in the top and bottom ones, but I can tell in the middle. She also looks a tad blurry.

I had to get about two inches from the screen to read the grey text, and I'm still not sure if I've got it right XD It's all daaaaaaaark. I love the font for Decadence though... omnomnom. If the grey text wasn't there, I'd adore it.

I like the random colored stars, Kira XD They're so random that they work I don't like the cut much though, it seems rather awkward... hmm... I think it would look better if she was moved up a bit.

You have no idea how much I love this icon. I would steal it for MSN if it didn't say LockhartAvenue on it D: I love the text so much... and the border.. and the little x... and just everything... I want it XD

It looks so soft and peaceful... simple and gorgeous. The text is good, and it fits the icon perfectly. I tend to favor scripty fonts, but I really prefer this here. The white border finishes it perfectly ^__^

Awwww poor Scrat XD He looks so shocked D: This icon is good with him in the middle and no text or anything, it gets the message across The "oh.. shit..." message, that is. Good job Kira <3

PURPLE SKIRT! Pretty font, what is it? I don't really know what to say, other than that her face is a tad dark.

I know who added the stars I really like this, you and Lew work well together The colors are gorgeous, and I like how everything except the guy is rather blurred. Gorgeous text once again as well.

So creepy looking... I love it. The lips look so epic, like there's blood on them or something.. *shudder* The background is rather empty, but I think it really suits the sig. I'm not too fond of the font for "like the change in the pain it goes on" but I love the rest of it.

Oh my god. I. Am. Eating. This. I've seen the original image (you showed me ) and omg. OMG OMG OMG OMG x3 Not many people can make that much text and the different fonts look good. BUT YOU CAN. The colors... omnomnom. *eats* just.. everything about this is win. I don't even know what to say.

This one is really good. You have a nice design here. I like how you changed one letter in your name to a different color, it really makes your name stand out. And the bright yellow smile is very cute. lol

I like the coloring on this one. I also think that putting small pictures on the side like that is a great add to it.

Love this collaboration! I can see where it's some of yours with some of Lew's style. I think it's gorgeous. The colors go very nicely together and it has nice dark and light points to draw the eye around the entire tag.

I really like this one. It's nice and almost on the creepy side. It has a dark theme and I think the little bit of red standing out from the gray tones helps that theme come out more.

B; Not all of them had a white border. The decadence one didn't -smartass-. Specially with the new forum layout though, I like how white borders always stand out... xD If it were completely up to me, they'd all be purple...

Also, yes, text loving side was in heaven with that pic. I'm glad you liked it.

I spotted some random things I laughed about. xD You're always so picky on your colour/color words. xD And in the comment you typed color everytime. Hahaha. Love ya really, babe. I'm disregarding the avatars since I could care less.

Though everything else just feels very conservative. Everything is very boring, obviously they aren't monotone but they come off like they are. Like as if there was no depth. Very soulless and very dull.

Nothing looks like it was fun to make. More like another day in photoshop. i actually avoided this thread at first because I didn't really have anything constructive to say, it's kind of just there. Not bad, not good.

I feel tired and upset when I look at this. Feeling upset might not be a bad thing, but feeling tired is.

I feel like these stock choices are to stiff and the easy way out. Try working with something a bit more wild. Try giving this stuff more flare. I also see a lot of cheap and tired techniques. Some better blending and less focus on what seems to be the typography.

Maybe try not bordering your work and give this stuff a sense of freedom. All this stuff feel creatively incarcerated.

Obviously I didn't tell you much, I rather just told you to politely start from scratch...

That's fine really. Obviously I'm just doing what I like, and not acting like it's my day job. On the other hand, I find it rather weird you state you avoid this thread 'cause you don't have anything constructive to say, yet comment...? Kinda weird.

If you don't like it, that's fine, really. But in all honesty you're just an opinion in the billions out there, and this is just another thread within the other billions out there...

Maybe it doesn't look like their was "fun to make these", but... Once again. Just your opinion, I'm guessing, eh?

Not sure why you'd comment on something that makes you feel "upset" and/or "tired."

Oh my this one is beautiful!

I love the background and how it comes across as an old painting or something like that. The texture of the background is rather appealing.

The lighting looks lovely where it hits her skin on the right and she's blended in very well.

Simply perfect font used and the little text underneath fits in wonderfully. <3

Tone your comments down, if you have nothing productive to say, then please, don't say anything. Everyone has their own style, whether you like it or not is irrelevant. As it were, Kira has taken what you've better than some others may have, fortunately. If I see any further posts like this from yourself, or anyone else, they will be deleted without question and also possibly infracted.

This is the only one I felt like pointing out. I think that the little snowflakes are wonderful and add to the sig a lot. But I feel that the background could have a little more. I'm not sure, it looks like Tifa is popping out more than she should. Enough so that it looks kind of unnatural, so I'm not sure if adding more to the background would have changed that or not. On the plus side, I love the text, it looks perfect.

Random question. On one of your sigs in your first post, is the text 'Use Somebody' a reference to Kings of Leon? XD

I'd like to see you do more anime/game stuff. I love Tifa just as much as the next person, but I'd like to see some more variety personally. The 'Use Somebody' and the angel wings Tifa sigs look like the best out of the bunch in my opinion. I really like them.

I know I just posted, but I guess I get obsessive easily. Obsessive in a good way that is...if there's such a thing. On the sig I think I might have to agree with you on the text. But it could be that its just in one spot. Maybe if you spread the four lines of text across the sig, it'd be less noticeable. The effects are great, obviously blue works good for Rinoa. It didn't feel overloaded by having the background mostly the same color as her clothing though.

Honestly, I like the icon better than the sig. The white border is simple and the text is great. I always liked having it in the size you can read and then other random stuff that's impossible to read. Sometimes I've wondered if some sig makers just write random bits of smut in since nobody would know anyway. XD I love it though, If I saw this on livejournal, I'd take it (with permission) in a jiffy.

Also, I'm surprised you got such a good image of Rinoa, unless it was just okay and you made it look amazing. Usually anything below FFX just looks alright, unless its FFVII of course.

I really, really like this one. It's extremely eye pleasing. The colour scheme used throughout is brilliant, especially the way you've combined several shades of blue together. The lighting is also used very effectively, it makes it look like the butterfly is lighting up the sig, and I love the way it looks like it's meant to shine a light on Rinoa's mood, whether that was the intention I don't know

As for the text, I'm unsure The font, placement, and colour of it is fantastic. But I don't actually think there's too many lines specifically because of the third line font. I think, had there been the same font for all the lines it would have been too much, but personally I think it looks very good because of the third line. Fantastic job.
Keep up the awesome work!

I like what youv got going on in this one. It has a nive watery effect going on which i like and in particular i really like the white glowing butterfly. I wasnt sure about the text, but it does work i think its the selection of fonts and how uv placed it, but it works well in that it looks good and fills the space to the right. I think addind in a light source with a big dsoft brush would make the tag look depper and more real. Theres a nice light hitting the stock so it would be good to see the source included in the tag.

The texture is very appealing. I love the blurriness or whatever it is looks awesome!

The lighting is well done and I love how that butterfly on Rinoa's arm seems to light up the whole signature!

The greens and blues look beautiful together and the little snowflakes all around look lovely. <3

Nice simple border and the text looks very pretty too. Lovely fonts and colours used.
