OOC: Ugh, typing chao rin is a bother. Just call her Chao or Rinny as a nick. However, if you are to talk to her in full honorifics, it Chao Rin. Btw, your character could leave ahead of the guard cuz when they get to her, its be pretty impossible to talk to her, giving how overprotective they are

Both guards were hesitant in divulging information about their dear princess to this foreigner, also besides the fact that she had once again, snooped outside their protection. It was known throughout the kingdom that Chao Rin had taken after her father and has became one of the best fighters in their realm, but that did not meant she did not need protection. She was, but eighteen summers old. Harumph! Currently in charge is Her Highness, Princess Fuu Chao Rin. However, the princess is not inclined to speak to anyone that just appears In that exact moment, a private in silver armour dashed through the gates screaming, I've located her Highness! She is at the Port! A armoured had slapped the private behind the head while his partner facepalmed himself. IDIOT! Do you wish to give the princess' position away to the rest of the world? Fourth Platoon! Move out! He yelled at the castle, signalling and gathering his men to escort the princess back, his forgetting all about the foreigner.

Worry creased Chao's forehead upon hearing of the increasing attacks of the heartless. As good as her people were, they were not keyblade masters. A prolonged war was not desireable, even if the whole population was willing to give their life on the royals whim. Ah, this is shit.... how troublesome. The light's line grow ever thinner while the dark seems to expand into infinity....

OOC: Give ya some time to jump in fromt the castle to interrupt
 
"Not if I get there first, buddy." Raven thought as he took his leave before the guards would notice him again. Raven headed in direction to the sea, where he left Luna. Now that he knows where he could find the princess, he could get Luna to help him on this.

"At this point, I'm not even sure if it's possible to launch a counterattack like this." Luna said. Her expression was of sadness as she explained the situation, "We've already lost a lot of lives over the course of 3 days. I hope the King has a good idea at what to do now before the Heartless launch another attack."
 
Hal strapped himself into his prototype ship..

"Lets hope all my calculations are right.. If so I should land at the Castle docks on Eastern Cloud in a few hours"

Hal pressed some buttons and took off again.

"I have to get to Raven... Trouble is brewing in the darkness"

Hal set off at great speeds - His gummi ship prototype had some enhanced speed abilities..

"don't worry guys.. The doc's coming to the resuce again "

OOC: sorry. hadnt the motivation to write in the rp. i was hoping you'd talk first tho...So, this post will be short as it is just a response to Luna. Is the king Chaos' father? If it isnt, ill change it. Ill call her father the Emperor.

The king? Chao sympathsised with Kong Mickey. There were times where she had been forced to rule in place of the emperpr was out and about at other planets. She hated all these politics and choices. If she could, she'd rather just fight. Decisions decisions...I hate making them. Playing king is never easy. It's especially worse when things hit the fan and any choices seemed to turn out badly...

OOC: On a technicality, I meant King Mickey. But to answer your question, the King of Eastern Cloud is Chao's father.

Luna understood Chao's feelings on this, and generations before her may have had the same feeling before her. She then said, "To tell you the truth, most people believe that between a brilliant person who wants power, and a brilliant person who shuns it, the latter would be the least likely person to abuse such a power. I know you will do well and...."

"HEY LUNA!!!" Raven shouted as he came running down to where Luna and Chao were sitting. By the time he made it, he was already out of breath. In between his breathing, he said, "I...need...to...find someone."

"What is it?" Luna responded in annoyed tone.

"The Emperor of this world left on a trip, and the princess is at the port." Raven turned his attention to the other girl. He then said, "Sorry for my bad manners, my name is Raven, and you are..."

Hal's ship had just fly straight into Eastern Cloud's Atmosphere. Hal pressed the float button.. he knew procedure.


"This the the flying eagle Mark III, Commanded by Dr Hal Otacon, Requesting permission to land. I believe that there are my friends here with the princess. I request a meeting with her royal highness..." "I am also disabling all weapon systems now"

Hal pressed a button " Weapons System Deactivated"

OOC: well, Leader's character doesnt know im the princess yet, but ill work something out.

Chao triedc to hold it in, but she couldn't resist. Bwahahahaha! Oh God. With a finger, she wiped away the tear that came from her eyes.I'd much prefer to ride out on the battlefield. I feel that is my true calling. To be honest, i'd gladly hand my position to my sister, who actually seemed to have some ability in kingship.

Before the duo could contine their little talk, a man ran towards them, who appears to know Luna. Comrades maybe? "HEY LUNA!!! I...need...to...find someone." Ah, none of my business then. Chao turned away, to give the two some form of privacy and began to twiddle the grass at her feet. Only when the man introduced himself to her do she snap out and respond. "Sorry for my bad manners, my name is Raven, and you are..." Huh? Oh, sorry. My name is Fuu Chao Rin, but you can just call me Chao, or Rinny if you want.I knew Luna from a while back. Its nice to meet you raven. As per tradition, when meeting knew people, a proper bow was needed, but then again, being princess, it was more of just a slight bobb of the head. Nonetheless, Chao stood up and performed the necessary custom.

The Private's eyebrow creased at what the foreigner said. "This the the flying eagle Mark III, Commanded by Dr Hal Otacon, Requesting permission to land. Lieutenant! We got a problem. The officer glanced at the transript and stood for a few seconds. Let him in. We'll hold him once he gets off the ship. That way we can ensure he can't escape. We need to know why he knows of the princesses location and why his "friends" are with her. All in all, i dont believe her Highness can be bested in combat, but we have to make sure there is no threat. Nodding in agreement, the private proceeded to wave Hal in. Flying Eagle Mark III, you have permission to land. Head to hangar three after landing. By now, port guards were rushing to position in hangar three, hidden until the target has disembarked.
 
Raven bowed himself, "It's a pleasure to meet you Chao. Turning to Luna, he said, "I need help finding the princess of Eastern Cloud, since the Emperor of this place has went off to some important trip somewhere."

Luna said, "Why do you need the princess?"

Raven said, "Remember what Captain Anderson said, 'We need to convince Eastern Cloud to send in reinforcements to help take out the Heartless.'"

Luna laughed, which made Raven say, "What's so funny?"

"Raven, Chao is the princess you're looking for."

Raven said in surprise, "Your friend is the princess! Well, that surprises me."

"What, I can't have a friend who is of royalty?"

"No it's not that, it's just, I never know these kind of things. Guess it must comes with ll your perks of being just mean."

"HEY, What's that supposed to mean?!?" Luna snapped.

Hal accepted the notice

"Thank you very much, I come in peace. I am no threat. "

Hal fly his ship into the hanger and disabled the full ship..


Opening the door to the cockpit Hal emerged as flamboyant as ever.

He looked at his wrist band.."Hmm lifeforms.. its dark"

"You all can come out now.. I pose no threat.. Infact..." Hal feels around his body

"I'm completly unarmed"

It didn't matter. As soon as the ship entered the hangar and its engine was off, a whole company of Guards surrounded the ship, some with their rifles raised, but most holding their swords and pike in offensive stance. "I pose no threat.. Infact...I'm completly unarmed" That was of no concern to the Guards. He was suspicious and knew of the princess' location. Regardless, we are to detain you for questioning. Will you come without resistance? The captain walked forward and one look can tell he was no pushover. Unlike the grunts around him, his armour was custom and unique. His sword had the aura of many years of use and the scar down his left eye and over exposed areas showed that combat was not new to him. He would be a formidable foe

Hahahaha... Chao laughed at the banter between the two. She really never did have any friends. After the training had concluded and Luna left, she never could talk like this with anyone else. But that isn't important right now. He was on official business, so a official manner is needed. Ahem. Mr Raven. You said you were in need of an audience? Her tone and demeanor changed increibly obvious. She was more lofty and regal than a second before. Holding out the large, siwrling dragon Jade seal given to her by her father, Chao ritually declared her position. I, Fuu Chao Rin, the Heavenly Seat of Serenity, Marchioness of Fushian and the Heiress Apparent of Eastern Cloud, with the grace from Sky Dragon (her father's title) will grant you an audience to speak of what you need. Usually, all this was not needed, but since he is a foreigner, then procedures, as always need to be followed.

Hal looked at the captain...

"Of course I'll come without a fight - why cause such a threat though - I am only a mear doctor from the destiny islands.. By the way I wouldn't like you to keep without a weapon... The heartless are coming-- I came to simply warn her royal highness"

Hal crouched down to pick up his belt with the swords on.. "Look No Threat I am a friend not a foe.. Infact my friends are here - they were with some woman called Chao..."
 
OOC: Dude. Its your turn. You have to reply to Chao. Im going to drag Hal into our group after you start talking. I mean it made a perfect op for it. The guards arent too happy that he called her by her first name ^.^

IC: Raven decided to take a knee, saying to the princess, "Your Highness. We are at a time of great need. Our friends and families are dying by the Heartless Horde that seeks to wipe out the lights in our hearts, minds and spirits."

Luna then said, "Raven, you need to stop being such a kiss ass. Just tell her what you need to tell her."

Raven shot up, after that statement, first saying to Luna, "All right, all right." Then putting his attention on Chao, he said, "We need your assistance in helping us defeat the Heartless."

Luna responded, "There, now didn't that feel better."

Raven kept silent this time, he would said something to counter Luna's deadpan snarking, but it wasn't worth it.

OOC: I need to g mod ever so slightly with Hal's character so he is free by this post and that everything is set for my departure.

Chao laughed and smiled widely at the charade. It was good once in a while to forget everything and hang out with normal people.

"We need your assistance in helping us defeat the Heartless."

Chao tapped her lips for a few seconds with her fingernail. It was basically a request for declaration of war.... of sort. This was a big step. She would be sending in soldiers and there will be death.

I am sorry. I am afraid i cannot decide instantly on this task. Sending in troops to fight against a foe is incredibly risky and a meeting needs to be held for preperation of war.

Chao's face was cold and relentless. It held in position for a split second before a devious smile spread across her lips.

Of course... we need intel... and it will not do sending just anyone. We can send a small unit of elite soldiers to assist you...or the best warrior on Eastern Cloud. For that, you will be having me for assistance.

There was instantly a tussle as 10 guards pounced and bounded Hal.

Impudence! You dare address Her Highness in such a vulgar way. Foreigner or not, you are arrested!

Like a bundle, four guards dragged the bounded Hal out into the open towards the training field. There was no need to expose this threat to the public. As the platoon exited the side doors, three figured at the far end caught the captain's eyes, more specifically, one.

Your Highness! Thank god you are safe. We have caught a suspicious figure who has addressed you in a disrespectful manner. Do you wish for his imprisonment?

Above the booming voice of the officer came a slighter voice.

Umm... Hey Raven. (your char hal)

It was quite obvious that this man knew Raven and Luna. If they knew him, then most likely he was assisting them in their plight against the heartless.

Ah, captain. Good. Release the man. He is my friends aquaintence. In addition, i am giving you a special mission. Prostate yourself forth.

Instantly, all soldiers knelt to their knees as Chao removed the Jade Dragon seal.

By my ruling right as Heiress Apparent and acting empress of Eastern Cloud, i order Captain Ching Hua to deliver the Royal seal to Third Princess Diao Quan to take my place as Acting Empress. I will be accompanying these fine people as the General of the Dragon army in reconnaissance of the future conflict against the heartless. Understood? Dismissed!

There was a stunned silence.


Your highness! We have not heard of this. Are you heading out with the first army?

No. As leader, i shall be the first into combat. I will be scouting ahead of the threat of the heartless in preperation for need of war. You will heed to the ruling of my sister. No more arguments. Dismissed!

As she said. There was no more arguments. In utter shock, the men left Hal on the ground and escorted the seal to Chao's sister. She had wiped herself of responsibility. Should she die, Diao Quan would taker her place as the next Heiress Apparent. With her knife, she loosened Hal free.

Well. You got me and my countries backing now. I will ensure that we will assist as much as possible once everything has been sorted. Do no worry. My sister understands me and will assist me in everything. She will ensure that we will join your fight. BUT for now...until everything is settled, why don't we rest for a bit until the paperwork is done?




 
Raven rushed to Hal's side, and said, "Are you alright, Doc?" He was relieved that Otacon made it out ok, but he was worried that the guards may have beaten him up a bit. He then said to the Princess, "Princess, don't you think the guards may have roughed him up a bit too much?" He said in a concerned manner.

Luna on the other hand answer Chao's question, "I agree, let us rest for a bit, then let us get back to Destiny Islands." She then headed back to the Barracks.
 
OOC: Just in case, background info into asian imperial stuff. Calling a royal, especially those closer to the throne, EG: next emperor/empress, casually without title, is a punishable offense, sometimes by death if the rulers aren't in a particularly fine mood.

Chao scratched the back of her head a bit. She herself was more open to the Western style of living, after seeing Luna and other rare opportunities she had off the planet. However, the soldiers and ministers were all old fogies.

Well... i'd agree, but its been tradition. Must have said something that clashed with our culture. Status, titles, heirachy and mannerism had always been rather..."important". What did you exactly say anyway to get them so riled up..."Doc"?
