Kingdom Hearts: The Unsung War

Skinfaxi took 2 blows to the legs, buying time for Raven and Luna to get out of the way. The Heartless's Arbiter was now angered by these turn of events as he took a knee. "You're gonna pay for that." He wasn't kidding, Scinfaxi went ahead and threw a powerful punch, swinging it at Hal from behind. This was followed by throwing a punch to Chao from under him. Skinfaxi knocked Luna to the wall and tried to stab her, but this was stopped by Raven who swung his Keyblade at Skinfaxi's head, hitting it across it's armor and giving the Arbiter a headache.

Raven followed up with a swing to the neck to try and kill the Heartless, but Skinfaxi in an act of strength blocked the Keyblade with his hand and held on to the blade. "Dammit, let go" Raven said as he tried to release his sword from his grasp. Skinfaxi finally said, "As you wish." Then slashed at Raven's chest, the energy sword burned a slash mark into his skin, all the way down to the muscle. Raven fell on his back screaming, with Skinfaxi still holding Raven's Keyblade until it dissapeared. "Heh, your race is weak and undisiplined. You best make peace now, for I will grant you a warrior's death." He started to approach Raven at a slow pace while Raven was still hurting from the serious wound. But by the time he was about to kill the boy, he was pelted by .50-caliber fire from the Jeep that was busy shooting at Heartless. Private Koopman said to a recovering Luna "We held the line as long as we can, get your guys and get out of here, we'll take this guy down."

OOC: Last chance to get your final hits on the ol' Arby.
 
Hal was thrown across the battle field by the punch and landed next to Raven..

"The Private's right Raven. You gotta retreat. This isn't childs play."

Hal looked at Raven. " Raven if you trust me you will do this... Take Luna. Get her to safety.. The world rests on her sholders"

Hal drew his swords.. "It's time for me to try my latest experiment"

Hal pressed some buttons on his wrist band and his arm started to glow purple..

"Raven you are not the only one with a form."

Hal walked forwards to Scinfaxi

"This is just me and you Scinfaxi!... do your worse"

Hal jumped forwards and dived to slice at his neck..
 
The feeling of blade going through flesh was good. That meant she had hurt him sufficiently. As Chao was about to continue and slide out from underneath, a lightning fast fist rocketed towards her stomach, catching her straight in the middle. It crushed her into the ground, but her momentum kept her sliding. Gracelessly, Chao's perfect slide ended with her tumbling as she held onto her stomach. A bit more late and the punch would have went straight into her rib. From the pain, it could have shattered it and puncture her lungs or heart.

Ugh...shit.

Shaking off the pain Chao was about to engage once more when more shadows popped out. Hacking away at the grunts, she made her way to Luna and Raven. Both were in pretty bad shape and if they were to escape, she would have to help them. Grabbing Raven by the hand, she dragged him to his feet. With both friends up, Chao began to look for a way out, Ultima in one hand incase anything came out her.

"We held the line as long as we can, get your guys and get out of here, we'll take this guy down."

Raven and Luna were helped to their feet by Chao, who said, "Luna, look for a safe place!" Luna responded, "The Pelican." She pointed to their airship. "We should be safe in there for a bit."

Raven said in a manner as if he were in pain. "Let's go then." He started to walk towards the ship, clutching his torso. The cut went from the side of the torso to where the heart would be, but it did not pierce the muscle, thus saving him some grief. Still, it did cause him some pain and loss of blood. Hal said to Raven, before going up against Scinfaxi. "Raven if you trust me you will do this... Take Luna. Get her to safety.. The world rests on her shoulders" Hal said. Raven yelled back, "Don't be a fool Otacon, he'll tear you to shreds." Unfortunately, he was out of hearing voice by then, and all Raven did was aggrevate his wound more. "Dammit." He said, "Don't die on me now, buddy." Raven and Luna headed back to the Pelican gummi ship. Luna had to take the pilots seat while Raven had to sit in the transport compartment.

Scinfaxi was being pelted by .50 caliber fire from 2 soldiers and a Jeep. The Jeep drove straight towards him, trying to run him over, but Scinfaxi grabbed onto the grill, his feat dragging across the dirt and grass of Twilight Town. "Impudent humans." He said as he activate his energy blade and stabbed the engine compartment. Forcing the Jeep to a complete halt and knocking the two privates out of the jeep. Scinfaxi came up to the first one (Pvt. Koopman) and fired a Fira spell at him, blowing his head up as blood splattered all over his upper body. He came to the other Private, Pvt. Pyle, who backed up to a tree. Scinfaxi punched him in the gut, shattering 2 ribs and forcing the human to the ground. "Your race will not overcome the darkness, it is the will of our predecessors and I am their instrument." The Private, in an act of bravery said, "Yeah, well you can kiss my a$$." Scinfaxi, after hearing his insolent sentence took his energy blade and used it to burn a mark onto Pyle's cheek, with Pyle howling lowdly in pain. Pyle once again remained defiant spitting in the face of the Arbiter. With that, Scinfaxi slit Pyle's throat with the blade, ending the young soldier's life with it.

Scinfaxi turned and saw Hal Otacon with a purple arm and his swords drawn, "This is just me and you Scinfaxi!... do your worse."

"As you wish, human." The Arbiter said, activating a second energy blade. He walked forward and tried to lunge at Hal with his Energy blade.
 
Hal threw off his robe revealing a black combat jacket.

Hal picked up his over sword and stopped the energy sword and used his strength to throw off the sword....

Hal stabbed his swords into the floor and placed his hands over them..

"I Will tell you know! This ends now!"

Hal pressed his ear activating his earphone

"Raven.. Its Hal.... Listen... The shit's hit the fan... Get yourself out of here now... I'll sort this. Trust me. This isn't the end"

Hal pulled his earphone out of his ear and threw it to the ground.

"Arbiter, you don't remember do you.. Many years ago this is the place we fought before.... The last time we fought the world changed everything. You think I am only a human. But this is simple... I was brought back to stop you yet again. I will not fail this time"

Hal picked up his swords and got into a battle pose and his arms started to give off a purple glow

OOC: is this pelican the Halo pelican?

Raven and Luna reached the Pelican dropship and while Luna began warming up for take off, Chao stood at the hatch, watching out for any incoming heartless. They were all peons such as soldiers and shadows, all killed with one sweep of her keyblades. She knew that the two brave soldiers were most likely slaughtered by now. There was no way they could have handled that monster. Her heart went to their brave souls. Worse was that Hal had gone solo against the beast. Slamming her fist in fustration, Chao went to Luna.

Luna! Is it wise to just leave Hal there? You know that he stands no chance. I can stay behind and help. I'm still good. We can't leave a man behind!
 
OOC: Yes, it's the Halo Pelican, wish you were here for Ace Combat's Agaion-class ship

The Arbiter heard the man talk heresy, and while this did confuse him in the bit, he wan't phased. "Enough of your conspiracy theories, human it's time for you to die." He said as he continued walking towards Hal, ready to finish his kills for the day.

Luna heard Chao say this to her, but she was conflicted over what to do. Hal did say to leave, neither she, Chao nor Raven wanted his death on their conscience. Raven said to Chao, "Go, get Hal up here..." He said as he cringed in pain. "I'm not going to see my friend die today, after so many others have before hand!, GO!" All Luna could was nod, then say, "I have the ship warmed up, get Hal so we can get out of here, we're not leaving a man behind!"

"Consipiracy it may be to you.. But i've followed you for so many years.. Watched everything you have done. Now its time you pay."

"Destiny Island is in ruin because of you"

Hal pressed a few final buttons on his switchboard..

"Raven... if you hear me.. I've locked the controls of the pelican.. it's taking you back to eastern cloud."

"Carry on with your adventure.. I will meet you again. I promise"

Hal looked at the pelican and ran forwards towards The Arbiter.

His arms turned purple and glowed bright.. " Now the power of love alone will save everyone"

Hals arms started to gain in colour and also in strength untill he was face to face with The Arbiter.

"Well.... you think you're the only special one..."

Hal put his sword up against The Arbiter's neck...

"Time to die!"
 
OOC: I'm not going to Eastern Cloud. Tipsy, if you're reading this, don't leave the gummi ship.

"What the?" Luna said, suddenly, the Pelican started to move upwards into the sky. This caused Raven to actually move into the cockpit area saying, "What's going on?"

Luna responded, "Dammit, I've lost control of the Gummi Ship, its as if it were stuck on autopilot, but how?"

Unfortunately, both of them were thinking the same thing, Hal must've hacked the controls when they were back on the Kestrel.

"Can't we try to override the controls or something?" Raven said while clutching his chest.

"I can but it won't take me a split second to do it."

Raven then shouted, "Dammit Hal, why must you be so stubborn?" As he sat down, he started to look out into the window, seeing the ruins of a once peaceful and beautiful city.

Scinfaxi looked at Hal after his transformation. "So you've gained in strength a little bit, it will not save you human." He said as he drew his sword and proceeded to try at Stab Hal in the lower abdomen.
 
Hal went to dodge out of the way but was too slow..

Scinfaxi's sword went straight into his abdoman.

Hal instantly spat up some blood.

"What....."

Hal gathered the strength he could to throw his sword over Scinfaxi's neck slicing into his throat.

"No longer Scinfaxi!"

Hal fell backwards to the floor to watch Scinfaxi's next move..
 
OOC: Try not to kill the guy....or yourself please...I plan on keeping Scinfaxi alive for an upcoming battle.

IC: Scinfaxi reeled back from Hal's throw, grabbing his throat as if it were cut a bit. This put the Heartless Arbiter into a rage, who in an act of anger, went ahead and did the same thing to Hal, aiming for the man's other arm (where he is holding his other sword.) "You fight well human. Get up, so I can beat you down again."
 
Hal tried to stand up but fell backwards under the blood coming out of his stomach. He pulled out a needle and quickly injected himself "Steriod Muscle relaxant"

Pulling his strength to started to hobble back towards the ship which was back on the ground.

"Next time you will die Scinfaxi"

Hal sat down on the loading bay of the Pelican.

"Captain! Get us off this planet NOW... We will return"

Hal pointed his sword at Scinfaxi as the Pelican started to power up again.

"You will fail Scinfaxi!"

OOC: Could you please edit your post, unless you have a gummi ship that's named the same as the Flying Fortress we were on earlier, then it doesn't make a lick of sense.

Plus, Luna already left....

IC: Hal stuggled to walk to the other side of the manison.

"Come on you damn thing >:("

Hal was bleeding hard out of his stomach and was spitting up blood.

Hal crawled into the cockpit and laid on the back and reached for a few buttons.
His plan was to join the other pelican in space.

He quickly pressed a few buttons on his pad and picked up the speaker as the ship took off from the planet.

"Damn you.. Why are you doing this"

"Attention, this is Pelican Mark III.

I'm sure this is a voice you're glad to hear. He isn't dead but he is wounded. the slice on the neck he recieved is a blister impact. It will continue to be a unfortunte part of his life untill our next meeting. Anyway offical part :
Pilot Hal Otacon Reporting : Captain Raven if you are out there proceed to wherever you want. my ship is on autopilot to follow you. Damages from the fight is a puncture wound to the lower abdoman. Don't worry i'll fix myself up before reporting up. It's just a matter of the muscle rebuilder. I've left some in the other pelican for you. make sure you use it. See you all soon. Over and out"

Just as she was about to disembark, the hind ramp raised itself and sealed Chao inside the passenger compartment of the Pelican. Chao rained fist at the door as she watched through the small clear window in the ramp the ground speeding away. Hal was left on the planet by himself. Smoke was smoldering all over the surface It was shameful to leave a comrade behind. With a final fist, Chao slammed the ramp, hard, its noise resonating throughout the cramp space before dropping onto one of the seat.

Damnation...

It was bad. Besides her personal issues with Hal, she ahd to report back to Eastern Cloud. Placing her fingers on the crystal on her forehead necklace, Chao closed her eyes and called out.

Mitsuki. To me...

The very same kunoichi that had apparated at the airport materialised in front of Chao in a knelt stance. The crystal on Chao's forehead acts as a beacon for Mitsuki to home in on. Picked from brith due to their high spiritual synchronisation, Mitsuki could be summoned through spiritual calling through Chao using her crystal to anyplace she is. To be teleported back, a crystal, similar to Chao's one, but bigger by a large degree is powered by land energy and acts as another beacon in which all royal messenger ninjas can home in on.

Tell my sister to mobilise all forces and to bring alertness to orange. Prepare for extended warfare and total war. Ready up the space fleet and military build-up. There is imminent threat to the entire planet.

With a slight swirling of wind, Mitsuki disappeared once more with her message. Chao leaned back and relaxed her whole body. The punch to her stomach still throbbed. On a transport craft, Chao had nothing to do but rest, hoping that Luna succeeds in her tangle with Hal's locked controls.
 
Final Fantasy X OST-Wandering Flame

As the ship continued on a direct path to parts unknown, Luna was busy fixing the controls, in an attempt to take it off of autopilot and directly pilot it.

Raven however, was sulking. Ever since he became captain, he lost several battles and lost a lot of people that he was trying to protect. Not being able to do anything to prevent that made him feel worse. He was in a depressed mood, especially since Hal probably died trying to save them from the fight.

Finally Luna managed to fix the controls and put it back on manual. She said, "Hey guys, I managed to fix the controls!" Immediately, after, she later received a message on the hologram screen on the side. The hologram was of a middle-aged man, probably in his 40s wearing what can be described as a soldier's uniform. He said, "Unidentified gummi ship, this is the Heavy Frigate Arkbird. Please Identify yourselves or else you will be destroyed."

Luna responded, "This is Kilo Hotel Zero One Six, requesting permission to land, we have wounded on board."

The man on the hologram looked to the side, probably asking to see if the gummi ship checked out. The man then said, "Permission Granted, welcome aboard."

The Pelican flew in close to the underside of the Arkbird, docking in one of the side hanger bays. There were several Pelicans with it too, presumably survivors and civilians from Twilight Town. After Luna docked the Pelican aboard the ship, a group of medics came down with stretchers to take any wounded away.

Once the hatch opened, Raven gotten himself up, clutching the area where Scinfaxi swung at him, his chest was bleeding, which led to the paramedics telling him to lie on one of the stretchers so they could see what was wrong. Another medic noticed that Chao was also suffering from pains in the torso and asked her if she can come with her to be X-rayed. Luna looked on, with sadness in her face.
 
It had been a few hours and Hal's ship was slowly approacing the place where Raven's gummi ship had gone too.

"Hm. Researched or not this stuff it useless.."

Hal threw the elasticated strengthing vial across the side of the ship.

All of the injection had only just slowed the bleeding. Hal needed propper medical attention.

Hal pressed a button on the console "Any nearby gummi ships I request immidate assistance : There is just me aboard Pilot Hal Otacon, and I am bleeding from battle wounds. I require a transport party.. Hal Otacon Over and Out"

OOC: Raven, do whatever you want to hear the news of the locaton of the ship :)
 
After hours of sergury and several session of curative magic. Raven's condition finally felt better. The Doctor said, "You should be fine now, the mark is gonna leave a scar but you should not be feeling any pain or blood loss."

Raven responded by saying "Thank you. But I want to know, is there any communications left from Twilight Town?"

The doctor turned to one of the Arkbird officers, "Hello my name is Colonel Curtiss, commander of the Arkbird." He offered his hand which Raven shook. Raven told the commander his name then asked, "Do you know if there were any communications since I returned?

"Yes there was, from a person named Dr. Hal Otacon. Here is a recording"

Raven could feel himself breathing a sigh of relief before looking into the recording.

"Attention, this is Pelican Mark III."

Hal sounded like if he were in pain.

"I'm sure this is a voice you're glad to hear. He isn't dead but he is wounded. the slice on the neck he recieved is a blister impact. It will continue to be a unfortunte part of his life untill our next meeting. Anyway offical part"

"And he tells me this now....." Raven said before he sighed of relief, everyone survived, a close call indeed. He said to the Colonel, "Did you provide him your location?"

"Yes we did, now rest, I know there will be a guest coming soon."

Raven decided to lie back down and rest, it was gonna be a long ride back.
