Kingdom Hearts: The Unsung War

The group traverse their way to the communication bridge, by the time they got there, they encountered Darlkin. Raven said, "Second Lieutenant Darlkin, what is the meaning of this." Darlkin sighed and turned to face the Captain, he had a black hand, as if it were a Heartless hand, "Well, it looks like you've caught me redhanded...."

"Who are you, really?" Raven responded

"Well then, since my cover as a human is blown, I'm afraid I'll have to cut my time short." He raised his arm and pressed a button on his glove which shattered the windows. Darlkin started to fly out the window. Raven, determined to not let this heartless get away shouted, "Oh no you don't!!!" flying out the window after Darlkin.

"Hal!" Luna said, "Come on, we need to go help Raven! We have to get onto the runway, it's the only way to do this!"

The runway was the only part considered "outside" the ship, because of it's nature as a flying fortress, there were elevators that had to pressurize itself accroding to whether you're inside or outside.
 
OOC: Wait what? Both me and Darlkin are outside the ship itself....

IC: Hal jumped through the gap and helped Luna through it.

"Come on we gotta help raven!"

OOC: Actually, I put it as a link when we last saw the Kestrel 5 pages ago....give or take.

OOC: Anyway......

IC: With Luna on the runway itself, she rushed over to the wing, hoping to find Raven, since she cannot jump there (it being a 3 mile drop over water) She was forced to watch the fight between the Captain and Darlkin.

Darlkin wasn't much a fighter, all he had was a combat knife and a set of Glock 17's. But he believed, if he could knock Raven off the ship, he may be able to escape. Darlkin said to Raven, "One of us is not going to live at the end of this." Pointing his Glocks at Raven, Darlkin started firing his 9mm at a chraging Raven, but Raven countered by blocking the shots as fast as he could with the Keyblade, one of the hullets were redirected back to Darlkins shoulder. "AAAHH", the heartless said, as he was bleeding black ooze. "You're a Heartless, I should've known...." Raven said before charging at the man and cutting him down without a fight.

Unforunately, an energy blast was headed in the directionof the Buzzard, it exploded in front of the HCC, followed by several large explosions that completely destroyed the Buzzard. The shockwaves nearly knocked Raven off the Kestrel's lower wing. "What the, what the hell is going on?!?" Raven said in shock.
 
"LUNA! We have to do something" Hal said as the ship shook..

"Oh damnit.. we are headed straight for the mountains.. whats the pilot doing.."

"Luna get inside to safety.. I'll save raven"

Hal jumped inside and ran towards the gummi ship

"Just like the instruction manual.."

Hal pressed a few buttons and the gummii ship shot out of the docking station out of the back of the kestrel..

"Now its time for Darlkin"

As he arose from the dock to the runway he picked up the tanoy

"Okay here we go... Raven Just be careful look ahead!" "Luna should be moving the craft by now..."
 
Raven got Hal on his communicator, "Raven Just be careful look ahead! Luna should be moving the craft by now..." Raven responded "Alright, just fly close to the wing, I'll make a jump for it. A second Mega Flare was fired, this time detected by the AWACS Gummi ship Thunderhead. "Thunderhead to Pelican, get outta there, we don't want anymore casualties, get above 5,000 feet and wait for impact." Luna responded, "This is Pelican, I'm going to rescue my friend first." She directed the ship under the Kestrel, forcing Raven to jump on top of the transport, holding on to one of the ships stabilizers, they barely made it to 5,000 feet before the Flare attack hit the Vulture, tearing it's entire wing off. "The Vulture, it's spinning out of control!!!!" Raven said. He saw a shilouette of a Heartless capital ship, with a man in armor on top of it. The man was looking at him too.
 
Hal ascended to 5000 feet after the mega flare vanished.. his ship was damaged but was still flyable..

"Raven its now or never.. Time for my Destiny... Luna.. Execute Plan 1A... Lower the Pelican to 2000 Feet... Get Raven and Yourself far from here."

"Raven.. I will meet you again.. God Speed and Good Luck"

Hal removed his glasses and pulled up the triggers for the weapons..

"This time I will not run from a shadow"

Hal Opened fire on the shadow of the heartless ship whilst glissening left and right
 
OOC: Well, that may not happen so...

IC: The Heartless ship started to dissappear into the shadows, Hal's attack did hit Dagr's ship but it was superficial. the ship disappeared into darkness. "Hal, I think that did it, it's not going to destroy the Kestrel." Raven said.

Soon after, Luna got a call from Captain Anderson saying, "Raven, this is Captain Anderson on the Kestrel." he sighed then said, "With our carrier fleet severely damaged, we are forced to delay our attack, However there are some warriors over at a world called the Eastern Cloud, we want you to head over there. Land and refuel on the way as well, it'll be a long trip." Raven responded, "Yes sir."

Luna then said, "What about Hal?"

Raven responded, "He said he'll be back, and we will have to take his word for it. Knowing him, he'll probably make it back to the islands."

"I hope so."

Raven smiled, but deep down he was just as worried as Luna is, Raven knows that Hal could take care of himself, but he feared that Hal may have gotten way over his head on this one.
 
Where as the damage to Dagr's ship was superficial.. Hal's ship had been pulled into the shadows too.. he was completly surrounded by it.

"Argh.. I'd hate to see raven now.. he'd be thinking " Hal's gotten over his head"

The engine stopped.. Hal was floating in mid air..

"Hmph not good"

Hal was looking around the glovebox to find a little button

">:( Come on! Where are you!"
 
Raven and Luna flew their Pelican out of Atlantica. He knew that King Triton is gonna have a fit when he see's 2 HCC's wrecked near his kingdom. But that was for someone else to discuss.

Ace Combat 5 OST: 15 Years Ago

Luna and Raven set off for the northeastern region to refuel, this region was paradise compared to what was ahead. Luna told Raven during the flight that beyond their destination was the closed gate of the Twilit Realm, the realm of In Between.

15 years ago, during the previous war with the Heartless, the Heartless destroyed 7 worlds using a weapon call the Darkmass Bomb, staving off the Warriors of the Light and entombing themselves to the dark, frozen valleys further ahead. They were a part of the Lucid Realm, the realm of Emptiness and Brilliance, yet Raven didn't believe it was smart of them to actually have did what they did. Yet, that bit of history should've been a lesson to us all. The worlds engulfed near the the weapon were vaporized, and the area was as radioactive as a nuclear bomb.

Eastern Cloud was near the border between the realms, and they were lucky to not have been destroyed as a result. This place meant a lot to Luna, seeing it as the place where she trained with the best warriors here.

When they landed, they were surrounded by trainees, eager to hear war stories. Raven said to Luna, that he'll be heading outside the base, and check out the village.

"You're gonna leave me here with them!!" Luna yelled, and Raven responded, "Well hey, you're more popular at this storytelling than I am. Go ahead, I'm not worried." He left the strange Chinese-looking building and headed for the village.
 
OOC: Raven Head towards the desk in that building. I have left a electronic hologram for you.

IC: Hal had found the button and was instantly teleported out of the darkness to Destiny Island. He istantly jumped out and ran into his lab.

"Robots Report! Status of the shadow!"

Robot 1X " The shadow is of unknown origin"
Robot 3X " It was foolish to go after such a craft"
Chief Robot " Welcome Back Dr... Now we need to get you back asap.

Hal : " I Know I need to rendevous with Raven and Luna. They were headed towards Eastern Cloud"
 
OOC: hm... what connections do my character have with Luna? And i also changed her main weapon, the pole arm. BTW, my posts will have heavy chinese references and traditional reactions until we leave Eastern Cloud.

The telltale fizzle of black dust wafted upwards into the air, a few wisp spiraling up the lean turquoise shaft of Rising Phoenix before dissipating in front of Chao Rin's face. Hmph...Another feeble attack... The heartless used to appear rarely, maybe due to the fact that Eastern Cloud's warrior citizens wre formidable foes and of their loss years ago. However, lately, there has been an increase in appearance and this was disturbing to Fuu Chao Rin, the Heavenly Seat of Serenity, Marchioness of Fushian and the Heiress Apparent of Eastern Cloud. A clatter of noise echoed into the Garden of Swift Souls and an instant later, guards clad in golden chinese plate armour (check up Curse of the Golden flower for what i mean) and pole arms rush into the once peaceful garden, trampling over the hard works of the gardeners before forming a circular surrounding around Chao Rin with shields and spears. Your Highness, many apologies for the slow response. it is a folly punishable by death! The captain of the guards fell to his knees, but Chao Rin ignored him. Wordlessly, she took a step forward, in which the circle of soldiers copied. Another step and the shields followed. An audible hiss of air escaped Chao Rin's mouth. Step Aside! Back to your post, Now! In an instant, every soldier in the garden fell to one knee and departed as one.

All orders were absolute. With the overprotection of the imperial guards gone, Chao Rin could finally think. All peace and calming mood had gone with the attack. The next best thing was a walk through the town. her private garden was on the 7th floor of the Sanctuary of the Lily building. It was not quite high enough that forced Chao Rin to use the stairs. Instead, leaping onto the high wall, the princess dropped down onto the next level pagoda roof and proceeded at a speed that by the time the guards had re-entered the garden, Chao Rin was already in the commoner's realm.

The bustling streets were filled with people, which meant that not many people noticed Chao Rin, even with her out-there clothings. It was good. A short while without formalities. Her walks took her to the air ports near the massive training fields for the children. The sight of the small kids training brought her back to her memories, being with her friends. When in compulsory military training, no-one was special. Even her father slept like the commoner next to him. She thought that sitting on the grassy hill and look down at the trainees would soothe her mind. Instead, there was some commotion near the ports and all the trainees had gathered. Odd... Within a minute, Chao Rin had leapt the tall fence and made her way to the back of the crowd. With her hand, she began pushing her way through. There were a bit of resistance at her waist as some of the smaller kids did not want to give up their space, but the further in she went, the more the childrens recognised her and quietened down into a solemn bowed head. There was still a fair amount of the older kids at the front and Chao Rin had given up on pushing through. instead, she cleared her throat. Eh hem... What is this commotion about? With her clear, melodious voice, heads turned and as if with magic, all shounting hushed and a path cleared in the middle for the princess. The older kids, knowing the procedure, fell to their knee.
 
OOC: Well, Luna trained in this world when they were kids, so Luna knew Chao Rin then. Luna does respect the culture in this world, and will greet her friend as such.

Luna looked up with the rest of the trainees and saw her old friend Chao Rin. She greeted her old friend, "It's nice to see you again your highness, and my old friend." Luna stood up and went to shake her friends hand. "It has been a long time since we've last met, how have you been?"

Raven in the meanwhile walked around the village outside the barracks, he paid no mind to the villagers and saw the sights. It was indeed a beautiful sight. However, Raven wanted to speak with the leader of the world, to send in troops to the front lines against the Heartless. "It's sad that people will have to put their lives on the line to fight like this, but I suppose it's for the best." Raven thought.
 
OOC: Right. Okay. As this is my world, can i can decide for some things right? Cuz i had before in my mind that the father had left the planet on diplomatic trips (war originally), so the head right now is me. Is that okay? If it is, you can go to the castle to learn that he is out and you can look for me.

The sides of Chao Rin's mouth bent into a slight smile. She had known Luna from her training days. The girl was in her cohort and team. Further more, as one of the rare foreigners allowed to train with the Cloud childrens, she stood out, just like herself. Despite the strict ethos that all are equal iin training, unlike her father, there was still some distance between herself and the others. That was why she and Luna managed to get along rather well. "It has been a long time since we've last met, how have you been?" Chao Rin was about to answer when she remembered the crowd of trainees around. Okay, people. Back to training. I have business with her. Yes Your highness. As one, they turned back to the field before Chao responded. With the people gone, she could relax her image. Ugh...horrible. Haven't been able to roam anymore like we used to. Its lesson this, ceremony that, rules there... Sometimes i wish i was just a grunt. In any case, my life here has been boring. I'm sure its much more exciting with you. What new adventures or tales do you have Luna?
 
OOC: Well it's your world, so yeah you could decide on things.

IC: Raven finally made it to the castle walls, which was guarded by several Chinese warriors. He bowed his head and said, "Hello, I have a message for your king, may I speak to him sir?" The guards looked at each other and said to Raven that the king stepped away for a bit. "Well then do you know when he will be back?, or who I am supposed to talk to in order to relay the message to him?"

"Well, it's not been a walk in the park either." Luna said, "We suffered a severe loss just several hours ago. The heartless have gotten bolder, using agents to lure our forces to a trap. If it wasn't for that crazy Captain, I wouldn't be here talking about it right now." Luna sighed then said, "Well, with all this going on, we could possibly say that me and the captain are probably the most experienced fighters on the front lines."
