There has been news about a Kingdom Hearts anime to air on the disney channel. I am not sure about the date but will edit when I find out.

Ugh, this doesn't sound like a good idea to do though. Sora won't even have the original voice.

The only problem with this is that you'd need a source to prove there is supposed to be Kingdom Hearts Anime, come back with a valid one and I'll happily believe you. :)
 
Assuming this is true, I think because it'll be on the Disney channel, I get the feeling the characters of focus will be the Disney ones: Mickey, Donald, Goofy, etc...

Sora, Riku, and etc probably won't even be mentioned beyond "chosen ones" or something vague like that :P

Although as Arcipello says, proof please :wacky:
 
I think this is pretty crazy if it is true... While I wouldn't mind it, why does Kingdom Hearts get all the love? What about Final Fantasy! There is barely anything for FF out there... A few anime's of little relevance to FF, and then Last Order (which was good, but short)...

Kingdom Hearts has manga and everything.. :argh:

Also, it'll be lame if the non-Disney characters aren't in it. But yeah, as said, source please. :D. It seems unlikely if this is the American Disney Channel you are talking about. If it is the Japanese one (is there a Japanese one?), then perhaps I can see it occuring.
 
Wow if this anime just stars disney characters I am best off screwing this and not watching it. Hopefully the square enix characters of Kingdom hearts will be in it because I did not like the idea of disney characters.
 
If it's true then it's bad news.There aren't any good adaptions from video games to anime.Like it's been mentioned before,probably they'll focus on Goofy,Donald etc.So why even called Kingdom Hearts?If again I'm wrong on that I believe that the characters won't be portraited the same as in the game.
Take DMC for example and Dante,in the game he's cocky while in the anime he seems more quiter and loner,god what did the monster do to Dante?I was pretty disappointed so I'm not ready for another letdown.
 
And to add to what Dave said, I doubt that Japanese artists would do that shoddy a job on the KH characters, definately fan-made :monster:

Though if it was to be made, i'd probably give it a watch then decide whether it's any good or not from there.

I just can't see it being THAT good tbh XDD
 
I've been hearing rumors about this ever since the first Kingdom Hearts came out. Whether it's true of not, it doesn't matter to me. I've been let down by so many anime adaptations to games it's not even funny -_- I still can't get rid of the nightmares after watching Xenosaga the animation...
I'll probably still check it out just too see how it is, but until then, I won't keep my hopes up.
 
Okay, I don't have any absolute proff that I found myself but check out Keycast (podcast) on itunes and their most recent podcast has news about an anime.
 
I personally don't believe there will be a Kingdom Hearts anime made any time soon. But if one is made, then I would certainly watch it.

I wouldn't really care if it only featured Disney characters, I would however, find it pretty stupid. Considering we already have plenty of cartoons like that, such as the fukkin 'House of Mouse', the only difference would be that the Disney characters would be in thier respective Kingdom Hearts roles but it would essentially be the same stuff as every other Disney cartoon which features those characters.

But as I said before, if an anime based on Kingdom Hearts was to be released I would certainly give it a shot, even if it did just feature the Disney characters, because personally I think Donald Duck pawns. :monster:
