Well, here goes.
(laugh if you want)I'm currently 25, and still living in my parents house.
The reason(s) is/are:
1) That my current job pays shit wages(8.75/hr)+job=diswasher/kitchen help=lame
2) My car is currently fucked up at the moment: Blown head-gaskets
3) I look for other forms of employment but most of the jobs in my state(WI) are looking for someone with "experience" in their job field and the only jobs I have had so far are either Dish-washing/kitchen help and my only "Industrial" job, wich was 5 years ago and the company i was working for then laid of all their employees(including myself).
4)Every job interview i have either goes to shit, or I am not qualified enough for the job I interview for.
5) I am currently not getting enough hours to be able to save enough $ to move out of my parents house(which really pisses me off)

). So $700 really isn't as bad as it could be.
So tl;dr, living away from home definitely doesn't dictate whether a person is cool or not.
). Save up enough money to pay for your car repairs and then keep working, putting some money on the side to get yourself a $700-800 apartment, which mind you is a really fucking nice amount of rent in WI to start out with. In NJ, apartments here start around $1200-plus, the lowest you can get is around the pricing you listed and that's IF you're making at least $7.25 plus hourly. So you're very lucky just keep your chin up, the key here is positivity. If you think your life is shit and can't look at the bright side: you're working, you at least HAVE a car, you're parents allow you free lodging pretty much, etc. then you'll reap subpar results.
