I've never seen the original Star Wars movies

they aren't too much, only about £5 each. i think you can buy a boxset of them all pretty cheap, or the later ones at least. don't think you can get the one from the end of series 2 in it. :hmmm:

Im appalled they arent included in the season box sets, thats just appalling -__-

oh, i was wrong. if you've got the full box ones then they do have the christmas specials in apparently.

http://www.play.com/DVD/DVD/4-/12103586/Doctor-Who-The-Complete-Specials-Box-Set/Product.html?searchstring=doctor+who+specials&searchtype=r2alldvd&searchsource=0&urlrefer=search&strefer=r2alldvd&searchfilters=s{doctor%20who%20specials}+c{57}+
and that one has everything between the end of series 4 and the start of 5.

ah i think that does have the xmas specials in it, you're just missing that other one.

i've always bought them in the individual volumes because once they've been out a couple of months it always works out cheaper to get them than the full box set. i might cut my losses with series 5 though because i really want to watch it again. :rage:

thats pretty dear the mo ]: Im gunna hold off for abit see if it goes down some

Il see what eps this has when it arrives, il prob have to go get it from the sorting office on sat

Series 2
The complete second series featuring David Tennant as the tenth 'regenerated' Doctor Who. In 'The Christmas Invasion' Christmas trees and seasonal Santa Claus impersonators begin wreaking havoc on the residents of London.
the christmas invasion was a christmas special, so i'd say it'll have them all. you'll just have to get that other one i was on about separately.

Winner.

I shall now go to bed happy :]

though ive just remembered I have to get up for work ]:

Yes he should be banned. It's sacriledge to not have seen the original Star Wars movies.
They've been available for rent or purchase even at second hand stores for along time now so there's no excuse.

Star Wars is the basis for many movies and games that you see today. I'm sure even Square Enix has used Star Wars as a muse for their work, it wouldn't surprise me.

Understatement of the fucking century!

There is clear Star Wars references/ influences as far back as Final Fantasy II. Biggs and Wedge from VI, VII, VIII and X are named after the Star Wars characters of the same names. Not to mention XII REAKS of Star Wars.
