My first FF game that i ever played was infact FFVII and it is my favorite game, although it could have been better but in it's day it was amazing

The first FF game I played was FF7 which I nicked from my dad without asking since I had to sit and watch him play it I thought to myself that looks like my sort of game and thanks to that one time I have been hooked on FF games since then.

My first was FFX and I have to say it was the best I have played. I admit I've only played X, XII, and IV but for now it is my favy. I should probably get FFVII but it's hard to find nowadays.
Well I started FFIX originally, but finished FFX first. However, they are both my top 2 favorite games in the series thus far, so I have to say yes, FFX then FFIX are my faves, and the one's I completed first.
I think it was good that my first games had such a great impression on me or else I may have never moved on to the others and may not be here today.

Yea, Final Fantasy VII was the first Final Fantasy game I ever played and it is, without question, my favorite game of all time. Like Busta, I actually finished Final Fantasy X first. It ranks high on my list but it's definitely a step below FF7 in my books. I think a lot of people experience their first FF experience very positively, and it helps shape their opinion on all future FF games.

The first FF game I played was FFX, and while I like FFVII just a tiny shade more, it's still very dear to me, and it means more to me than my other FF games, since it was my first and all.
I think playing FFVIII after playing FFX was what made me dislike FFVIII for the longest time - initially it was frustrating that VIII just wasn't as good as FFX, and for the longest time I compared every other FF game I played to FFX. It's not my absolute favourite, but like I said, it's still very dear to me.

My first ff was FF9 and it is my favourite FF title of the lot, I can play it again and again and never really tire of the humour, the fun, the colour and everything else that goes along with it.

My first game was FFVII. And although I still adore it, it's not my favourite FF game. Still I rmb I was captivated by it. It was huge then. The story was all too complex for me then, just too young to understand all that. But I was shocked to see Aerith die! That one I can forever rmb.

Yeah I've noticed that trend a lot too.
But personally, my favorite is a toss up between FFIX and FFVI.
FFVII was my first, and for a while it was my favorite. Then I decided to broaden my horizons, take a step back, and compare what I liked about VII with what I liked about the other games. In the end, IX's charm and VI's characters won me over.

Yeah my first FF game was Final Fantasy VII and will always be my favorite. I've wondered also if I started on a different one would it be my fav instead. Although I've played FFvi and after other ff games and VI is propally my second or third favorite.

My fav and first was ffx-2 at first I hated it because I was so young when I first played it then when I got a little older I started to love it.

Yes. Final Fantasy IX was my first Final Fantasy and is also,obviously,my favorite! I got it that Christmas after it first came out. Then my second one was Final Fantasy VIII and is also my second favorite. Then I went backwards from there,collecting them.

I have read somewhere (don't remember where) that for many people, the first FF they play becomes their most favorite. So I wanted to check out whatever it is true or not for most people.
As for me, the first FF I played is FFXII and it is still my favorite, at least for now (haven't played FFIV, FFV, FFVI and some spinoffs yet).

I think that's mainly because the first game most people will have played, at least around my age, will have been FFVII and as we all know that title is whored beyond all possibility as many are just jumping the bandwagon, although there are genuine FFVII fans so all respect to them. As for me, my first FF title I played was indeed FFVII but my favourite is still FFIX, although I expect that to change with the release of FFXIII and FFXIII Versus.

That used to be the case and loved the 1st played ( FF VII ) but after playing FF IV and watching Advent Children and seeing the Final Fantasy VII storyline and characters be warped and changed and new characters added.

Still like Cloud Strife and still go fan- crazy over Final Fantasy VII characters like Tifa, Vincent and Cid. But just love FF IV more, Final Fantasy VII isn't the favourite anymore. But the game is still pretty special. It's more now a first- love than a favourite. You know like your first Boyfriend or Girlfriend, you have moved on but deep inside you still care for them a little bit- because they were your first everything when it came to love. Feel like that a little bit for FF VII.
But really enjoyed the music in Final Fantasy IV and Cecil and Rosa's leadership and role-modelship. Just liked how IV taught you/ us that forgiveness is important and when we are in a dark moment in our life's we are able to get out of the darkness and become a much better person. Life can give us a second chance if we truly want one.
But have to be honest and sometimes like FF VI and FF IX the best. And sometimes change mind between those three, but think really starting to like FF IV the best for the main reasons written above..

The first i played was VIII and it was indeed is indeed my favorite. It has the coolest environment and good cast of characters. Also, it was a revolution when it came out and it made me begin to love the series after playing it
The first I played, contrary to most was VIII and it remains my favourite purely because it was like nothing I had ever played at the time. I now believe that it is not the best FF game but I still list it as my favourite because it was the one that introduced me to the game.
