Plot

For the past ten years, the world of Pokemon has been at relative peace. All of the criminal organizations, from Team Rocket to Cipher, Team Magma to Team Plasma, have been either arrested or disbanded over the many years in which each was brought down by trainers. However, some of the admins from each group have remained unaccounted for by police.

Now, a new criminal force has started to sweep across the lands. In Johto, the western half of the region have fallen to a new organization called Team Omega, led by a once well-respected researcher in pharmaceutical medicines, Victor Omega. Under his direction, the former admins of Rocket, Magma, Aqua, Cipher, Plasma and Galactic have unified. They have brought into their command a group of shadow Pokemon, along with a new experimental species: Pokemorphs. Unable to be captured by pokeballs and wielding the powers of the Pokemon they have melded with, Omega has become a force stronger than even the Johto military.

But there is hope. To combat this new force, Robert Silvermyst, a trainer from Hoenn, with the help of Mewtwo, Professor Ketchum and Professor Gary Oak, has formed Team Alpha. With them are technologies from the Orre region to help combat the shadow Pokemon: the purification machine and the Snaggem device, which turns any pokeball into a snatch pokeball, allowing trainers to steal weakened shadow Pokemon from other trainers.

The Roles

You can play either as a member of Omega, seeking to conquer the world; a member of Alpha, who seeks to defeat Omega and bring peace back to the world; a regular trainer who has not taken a side; or a Pokemorph, either willingly fighting for Omega or someone who was forced into the experiment and is currently used as a slave.

Team Alpha is led by trainer and aura guardian Robert Silvermyst, Professors Ash Ketchum and Gary Oak, and Mewtwo. They are comprised of trainers, Pokemon rangers, police force members and researchers from around the world.

Team Omega is led by Victor Omega, a business tycoon and criminal mastermind. At the forefront of his armies is a Shadow Darkrai. Heading each separate faction of Omega are the admins from each of the former worldwide criminal organizations.

The Pokemorphs are divided into two sections. Those who are members of Omega that willingly underwent the experiment to become powerful and help Omega conquer the world; and those who were taken captive after the conquest of the western half of Johto, forced into the experiment program and are used as slaves to help gather and farm resources. Unlike Pokemon, Pokemorphs cannot be captured by pokeballs. Instead, the slaves are fitted with rigged collars which are controlled by remote. Anytime they misbehave or try to escape, the collars render them unconscious. If a Pokemorph gets too far from the central hub, they are rendered unconscious. If they try to remove the collar without a specialized key, the collar explodes.

This is a roleplay of Teams, Alpha on one side, Omega on the other, and the Pokemorphs being the wild card that can tip the scales in favor of either side, Each person will be allowed 3 characters: One Alpha trainer, one Omega trainer and one Pokemorph. I'd like to see at least four players take interest in this before I open up for sign-ups.
 
I see pokemon... if i can be an epic trainer with a mudkip and a pikachu.. count me in :wacky:

Alright then, if we can get a mod to change this form Interest Check to Sign-Up/Discussion, that would be great ^.^

Personality: Robert is a young man with a strong sense of justice. He loves Pokemon and will go out of his way to help people and Pokemon in need. He despises Team Omega and their blatant disregard for the lives of others, Pokemon and human alike. He has a strong sense of honor to his friends, allies and his Pokemon.

Bio: Robert was born to two Pokemon breeders in the Hoenn region. His parents owned a Pokemon orphanage. It was there that Robert learned how to care for and raise Pokemon to their greatest potential and overall happiness.

At the age of 10, Robert began his Pokemon journey. However, instead of getting his starter from Professor Birch, Robert rescued a young Riolu and Ralts from a Pokemon poacher. These two became his first Pokemon.

Robert traveled the Hoenn region and made it into the Hoenn League, only to be defeated in the first match of the league tournament. After that, he traveled to Sinnoh where he met Riley, a guardian of aura. Sensing Robert's strong, untapped aura and his close relationship to his Lucario, Riley trained Robert in how to tap into his aura and use it

When Robert arrived in Johto after his adventures in Sinnoh, Robert saw first-hand the ruthless power of Team Omega. A Pokemon Center fell under attack, and Robert went all out to defend it. Hopelessly outnumbered, Robert continued to battle on, despite the fact he was losing. It was then Mewtwo, who had seen the horrors occurring, saw Robert's heart and desire to protect the injured Pokemon and gave the boy aid. Mewtwo then helped Robert form Team Alpha, providing the boy with his own personal contacts and advanced technologies. Within the course of a year, Team Alpha, based on New Island, Mewtwo's home, began to openly take the fight to Team Omega.

He cares only about achieving his goals, of which his true motives are hidden even from his most trusted advisers. He cares nothing for the lives of others, viewing everyone as expendable, though he would never show it. He is a very convincing actor, making sure that everyone who follows him believes he has their best interests in mind.

Bio: Victor was born in Oldale, Hoenn many years ago. He was obsessed with being the strongest, but he would be beaten time and time again in battles. However, he began to manipulate the feelings of those he came across and set trainers against each other, leaving chaos, hurt feelings and betrayal in his wake. He then began to use his charisma to gather people to him. When his parents mysteriously died, he inherited their fortunes and began a pharmaceutical company. On the outside, he was a well respected man and his company produced quality products for people and pokemon. However, he also slid his hands into the affairs of the other criminal organizations. He was the one who slipped Giovanni the information about his son Silver's whereabouts and from there saw to the downfall of Team Rocket. He manipulated events within Aqua and Magma in an attempt to destroy Hoenn. He was the one who helped fund Team Galactic. All of this was to gather from each team the best and brightest criminal minds. And after Cipher fell, he sought and hired all of the scientists that worked on the shadow Pokemon program. And now, he has amassed an army for himself with the latest biological weapon at his disposal: the Pokemorphs. But no one is aware of his true intentions with this new technology: his desire to become a Pokemorph more powerful than Arceus and slay the Pokemon God so that he can take Arceus' place.

Personality: Matthias has a strong will and determination. He can hide his feelings well and toughs out the worst situation. He helps to keep the spirits of his friends up even in the worst of times, and is a dedicated and loyal friend. He will defend his friends fiercely, but he can be very kind and caring to those he befriends.

Bio: Matthias was born in Cinnawood, Johto. Son of the town's residential Officer Jenny, Matthias grew up learning not only the proper way of taking care of his Pokemon, but also took several self-defense classes and studied the various laws of the Johto region. After experiencing his own Pokemon adventures, Matthias returned to Johto to enter into the police academy.

However, Cinawood was quickly overtaken by the new Team Omega, and he was taken away by several members to become a test experiment. He was transformed into an Lucario Pokemorph, fitted with a collar, and put to work mining the tunnels for evolutionary and power stones. While he has suffered much, he has also proven his resourcefulness. With the aid of his companions, he is about to set in motion the means to free himself and his friends from the grip of Omega.

Personality:
When asked about, those who know him consider him a very odd character. He never seems to feel down and his personality gives the impression he cant take anything seriously. This isn’t true though, he takes a lot very seriously, he just doesn’t show it, and most don’t realize it until he takes action. He’s considered very easy going and doesn’t have much to be alarmed by. He is an excellent listener, even when he doesn’t seemed to have paid much attention he can be surprising by saying something that took all aspects of the conversation into consideration.
His biggest love is his pokemon, training with them, travelling, battling. He’s grown into it all quite well. He loves the outdoors, and prefers camping outside the city instead of residing in it when he comes to visit. During battles, his easy going attitude is still up and prevalent but his training is just as hard as most other pokemon trainers.

Bio:
Eren Dai was born in the region of Hoenn. More specifically Fortree city. When it came to the age of 8 he was definitely seen as a potential pokemon trainer. He received a Poochyena in a competition and loved it ever since. He trained with it diligently to the point where it evolved into a mightyena. It was at that point the gym leader of the city recommended he become a pokemon trainer and leave the town to take the Hoenn Gym challenge. He accepted to leave town but still wanted to take time before taking on a gym challenge.

He and his Mightyena travelled around Hoenn quite a bit. Infact he even paid visits to other regions as well, catching a pokemon from time to time until his team was full with 6. Eren always trained his pokemon with care and a strong voice, he would battle the occasional gym leader but not as an official challenge. He would win a few but refuse the badge since he had no real purpose for it. Lately he has been thinking about taking one of the many gym challenges, although exactly which one, he isn’t sure.

Appearance:
He stands at 6 feet and has straight brown hair. He keeps it somewhat short. He never wears a hat but have a small green thin scarf around his neck. He wears a long-sleeved slightly loose green shirt and blue pair of denim jeans. Black running shoes, a belt for his pokeballs, and his backback full of his travelling supplies. He is of average build.
