I've not been aware of it if I have heard of it.

I've probably dismissed it as a rom-com where women talk about men they've slept with and make fun of them and then move on to another in search of Prince Darcy Charming, and all of that girly-chitter-chatter that goes on. Judging from this thread, it appears to be just like that too.

It's pretty much just like that, only it's laced with extreme character personalities.

i still haven't seen most of last year's oscar films, so i can't say really. i'm more interested in watching the artist and the help than bridesmaids though
