I sleep too much....

I don't think my diet helps either, all I eat is crap, I must start eating poper >_< I just cba tho, coz Im always so tired, and to think, I used to sleep looooads. what went wrong ;_;

My diet is horrid, I don't eat enough, I just cba. Like two days ago, all I had to eat the entire day were two muffins :neomon:

I heard on the radio that 7 hours a night is the ideal.. anything more or anything less and you're going to die. o_O As opposed to living forever like you would with 7 hours a night...?

Anyhoo, I can get 7 hours on a good night... but it's mostly less... and lots more at the weekend. My friend slept for 21 hours once I was like Whaaaaaaaaaaa? Longest I've stayed awake is 61 hours.. that was hellish o_O

lawl, what kind of radio show was that? xD I can't imagine staying away for 61 hours...the longest I've ever stayed away is 19 hours, and that was on 5 hours of sleep. I kinda want to try to stay up for at least 24 hours sometime, just for the hell of it.

I'd say I get about 8-10 hours of sleep. I'm sorta tired of waking up at noon, though. I may force myself out of bed from now on.

Hope you have more success with that than I do. I try to force myself out of bed earlier so I don't waste half the day, but then I think to myself "wait......whats the point?" and then go back to sleep.

that is exactly what I do when I can, sleep is so precious too me I try to fit in as much as I can in one go

My sleeping pattern is on its arse tbqh -_-
 
Grah! This reminds me of that insomnia discussion we were having, and to mention that, I have been having a LOT of problems sleeping lately. I typically can fall asleep within 5 minutes, but for the past few nights it's been taking me over 2 hours to get to sleep. I'm really ticked off about it.

As far as my life goes, everything is going fine and I'm not worrying about a single thing, so I don't know why I would be having problems going to sleep. It's like some sort of unsolved mystery! :panic:

I was like that all through highschool, I don't know why. I eventually outgrew it, but I must say, it was quite horrid. Now it usually only takes about 15 minutes to fall asleep.
 
i get about 7 and a half hours of sleep on weekdays and im not sure how much during weekends, so meh, but i dont want to live forever anyway.
I only need to sleep about once every two days, but i sleep more often than that because i like sleeping.

But 61 hours is quite an achievement, i've only managed 30 before passing out.

Someone's diet effects how much energy they have but not how long they stay awake, or how tired they feel.
I only eat dinner as i cba to have breakfast or lunch and im perfectly healthy sleepwise :wacky:

Well as of right now I've been up for 20 hours. I decided to try to pull an all-nighter for the hell of it, and I really haven't been sleepy anyway. It's actually been quite nice, I feel like I haven't wasted my time. In actuality I have wasted it online instead of working on my speech (all I have so far is an outline)....but personally I view sleep as a colossal waste of time and the most inefficient way for the body to "recharge." If God did create us, he sure picked a stupidass way for us to recharge...I don't see why he couldn't have just made food sufficient to keep the body going :elmo:

You just had to remind me that I'm hungry, didn't you? My last full meal was a good 16 hours ago, and about 7 hours ago I had some Cheetos. I'll get myself something once my mom leaves for work.
 
Im one of those that takes hours to settle, I can get in bed and be really tired but Il just lie there, Iv actually given up on bed and now I just sleep on the settee :wacky:

At least when I can't sleep there I don't have to fanny about getting out of bed, I seem to sleep better there weirdly enough o_O
 
What the hell is a settee? Is it a sofa or something? You and your wretched britspeak.

Hrmm...perhaps I should try sleeping in my chair or something, then. I imagine it would be easier getting up if all I had to do was hop out of a chair, rather than drag myself out of a comfortable bed...

I haven't slept in bed for ages and it's kingsized, it's wasted on me it really is -_-
 
I'm sorry, but you'll have to speak American, it's the only language I understand...IN AMERICA.

If you don't use your bed I'll take it, I have a shitty little twin size bed.
 
It's broke, theres a seaker propping it up, it snapped right in the middle, I might actually sleep in it better if it was fixed come to think of it......

And Im in Britland, so I use Brit speeeek
 
Hm...I think a lot of people sleep too much because they overlook their poor sleeping conditions.

I know for sure that I have restless leg syndrome. It causes your legs to ache. I can't keep my legs still at night. I kick the wall, I kick the person who sleeps next to me, I roll around from side to side. I wake up from "peeing in my sleep nightmares". My bf comes home and turns on the t.v. at 4am...I wake up at 9am to let my dog do his thing in the yard...

Even though I might go to sleep at 12, or 1 in the morning, and wake up at 9 or 10am...there's no way that I sleep 8 or 9 hours at night. Noooo wayyy.
 
about 6-7 hours... however, in vacations I always sleep about 10 hours x)
And I also feel tired and lazy... I guess it's because the more you sleep, the more you want to sleep :P
 
I sleep about 8 hours on a regular day. And by that I mean school days. I usually sleep about 12 hours over vacation.
 
Whaddya know, I just woke up from my one-hour nap not that long ago. ^_^

On the weekdays, I've been getting 5 - 6 hours sleep (lately anyway), which isn't so bad, I guess. I try to get at least 7 hours in if I can, but it's usually less than that. However, I do get the full 8 hours sleep on the weekends, so it's all good.
 
last night I went to sleep at 3 in the night. I woke up at 4 in day :wacky: 13 hours xD (right?)
 
I do sleep alot, its a pain in the bum. I sleep up to 8 hours at a time and sometimes I do want more! Greedy bugger I am.
