I usually don't get the burning coming out - I guess I filter it all out. But being an avid chef-at-home and often working with various types of peppers - I can't emphasize how important it is to wash your hands repeatedly and/or wear gloves. Residue from the peppers can ruin a lot of things in a hurry.
