I know people seem to want a new game

If there was a way to get your levels back, would you still want a new game?
 
I just wanted to give the added option. Since I have been informed it could be done. If people still want a new game, thats what we will do.
 
i would still want a new game even if i get my character back, but that is because i was thinking about getting him reset again.
 
I voted 'Yes', because it sounds like we already have ideas for improving the game, so a reset sounds diviiine. :)
 
I don't really mind, I'd probably just pick up where I left off if I got my level back, I didn't get really far anyway but I know I'd be miffed having to restart the old game from scratch again. tHOSE GODDAM SEAGULLS USED TO HUMILATE ME -__-
 
I have to say that I want to try an idea I have. Not really original. But it would make things a lot easier on new players. I will discuss it with Marshy and Julius first. Before I bring it out in the open.
 
I say yes, You know my feeling about this. And as mentioned, the balancing issue, as well as "parting" thing, can then be used earlier, in a way.
 
Yeah i would like a new game, as long as it had more Final Fantasy characters, the other one hardly had any.
 
Of course, Jimmy. I will also make sure you get Struedal back too. Of course, he will have to be trained all over again.

Yes, Red Fox, we are planning to start the divisions early in the game.
 
Fine by me, i don't mind leveling up again:) Also there should be a SeeDs HQ in the RPG.:)
 
Well if you guys think it could work then sure why not, you could use a former FF city to serve as HQs, Balamb Garden the SeeD Military Academy (where FFVIII characters could be NPC who help train you). Stuff like that...it would be cool to be able to battle Squall, and other characters you know like you did with Sephiroth.

Anyway i'm sure you guys can come up with something cool like that.:)
 
This will most likely not be are top priority, but, we will consider it. Firstly, we must get rid of the old game and start work on the new game. I'll see what i can do once we get the first area done.
 
Our priority first is to write a new storyline and assemble a new game as soon as possible. After that is done, we can consider your proposal Jimmy.

Now my opinion towards that suggestion; we can't have an exclusive area for the SeeDs because it would be unfair. Still, I have a proposition; we could take the top three clans and create three separated areas. Of course, this could be considered after the new game (or at least the first section) is complete.

I dont care as long as my weapons and my pet are just the way I left them then I dont care about my level or my pets I just want the rare weapons I have to remain intact since I had to bey those guns of mine from Gabranth.

Id rather not loose them especialy since there the only two as far as I know that are in the game and I spent good gil on them.
 
A new game would be nice.. For those who have played the previous game once too many, i guess.
 
I would like to mention that the RPG Team has been working on the first area of the next game. Although not as big as the first one from the previous game, it is still halfway finished. The length can be increased, if people wish it to be that way.
