How I picture Nintendo right about now

Im actually pretty excited for the Wii U since developers have been excited about RPGs on the thing
 
isn't it basically just a Nintendo console on par with current generation graphics? Oh and a fancy controller.

If thats the case why would i buy a new console to get new games on that as oppose to just getting them on my ps3???

I dont know much about the new wii u thing so someone tell me please. Why will it be so great and worth buying?
 
Actually, the WiiU will be much more powerful than current gen consoles. However, when Microsoft and Sony release theirs, it won't be on top anymore. It'll be close, but it will still be a bit behind. (Much like things are now.) However, Nintendo seems to have sold it well to third party developers and Nintendo is even starting to promise more new "fresh" ideas from them. The console is looking rather interesting. The online services as of right now are looking promising. Will it be a day one purchase for me? Probably not. However, if down the line things are still looking good for it, I'll probably pick it up.

All in all, Nintendo pretty much looks like this at the moment:

The only thing I really have to say about that is, although this will be true, At this point I bet both the next Xbox and Playstation will be up in th $700 range when they first come out at least. So Nintendo will win on the price.
