Help me choose a game to play next.

Hi Guys

Ok so, I have 10 days off from work and have decided to use this time to catch up on my backlog of games. I have so many I haven't finished and am now having a hard time picking which to start with.

Here is the list, please also vote in the poll:

• Persona 3 FES (My PS3 ate my last save file, I didn't get past the 1st month.
• Final Fantasy 8
• Final Fantasy X-2 - Am at chapter 3
• Final Fantasy XIII - Hate this game but really want to finish it, at chapter 11
• Suikoden III
• Dark Chronicles
• Baten Kaitos

So when writing your reply in this thread, please give me good reasons for why you picked what you did. Help win me over, Brag about the games awesomeness, anything!!

My vote for you goes to Suikoden 3. I played and beat this game once many years ago and it was pretty enjoyable. Granted, there are some frustrating parts. Like the character, Thomas. -sigh- Giving me and all the other Thomas' a bad name(no pun intended). But overall, it I liked it. The battle system was interesting and I really liked the graphics. The story's not all that great sometimes, but it keeps you playing. I think it took me 110 hours to beat with minimal pause time. I was that interested.

Of course, I'm saying this not knowing if you have played it or not.

Buy Mass Effect 2 and play that.
Or Buy Uncharted 1 or 2 and play that.
Those three games are better than any of the ones on your list and will be quite cheap.

Dark Chronicles im guessing is Dark cloud 2 in America?

I really liked the story in that game, and the system was very intresting also, with how you took pictures and came up with ideas for inventing.

Mass Effect 2 sucked and Uncharted are over rated games for what they really are, and by cheap you mean $40-$60?

Play Baten Kaitos. It's a pretty good game. At least i think so. Unless you're not a fan of card battle systems, then I guess don't play it. :dave:

If you want to play a really good game, however, play Ape Escape. If you haven't already, then I weep for you, Franklin.

If you haven't played Persona 3 through more than the first month you owe it to yourself to play more than that cuz it's barely started to get good that point.

You should also play FF8.

Suikodens are always fun.

That is my advice.

Trade them in and buy Mass Effect 2.

It's an amazing game, great story, fun gameplay and lots of extra content with the PS3 version (all DLC released on the 360 up until it was released on the PS3).

Also, Dark Chronicle is a quality game. Lots of dungeon crawling, customisation and the whole idea for the game is to rebuild the past to impact the future... just play it and you'll see what I mean.

Play Baten Kaitos. That game is absolutely fantastic - its challenging, the battle system is pretty unique, the storyline isn't half bad once it gets going, the most graphically impressive game on the Gamecube (sure, it might not compete with modern standards, but its still very pleasing on the eye) and it has absolutely amazing soundtrack. BK needs more love.

I'd say Suikoden though, I hear a lot of good thing about the series. Following that, I'd say Final Fantasy VIII and Persona 3 FES.
